“I walked in because my phone glitched and I was picking up a large order for a group at my house. I was immediately greeted by three people at the front counter who were extremely busy (and still took the time to smile and acknowledge me). Those team members knew what order I was talking about immediately and a woman who was helping specifically ensured I got all of my food and was patient and smiling. At the end of me getting everything, I heard her tell everyone she was leaving for the night..meaning she stayed past her clock out time to ensure my order was completed (also unknowingly ensuring no meltdowns from my children). When I asked for her name, she told me it was Deena (sp?). Everyone that was working tonight was absolutely awesome, especially her!”

“Service and food slowly deteriorating as expected. We have been to the restaurant around 12-15 times since they opened. Initial visits were good but lately we have seen steady decline in their service.
In our last visit a male employee who seemed to be the manager/owner took our order and completely ignored the details. e.g. Asked for chillis in the veg uttapam and a soft mysore masala dosa with masala on the side. We have ordered this many times in the past and it arrived as ordered until this time. Chillis missing in the Uttapam and dosa was crunchy with masala inside. It is not a big deal but their attention to detail in listening to the customer seems to be vanishing as they have become popular in the area. I wish another good dosa place opens in the area so the quality remains in check. Another observation is that they are now skimping on the quantity of some chutneys as you can see in the picture. Food taste has been consistent over all.”

I ordered the shrimp drunken noodles, crab wontons, and catfish with rice. The drunken noodles were perfectly spicy and flavorful, the crab wontons were crispy and delicious, and the catfish was tender with great seasoning. Service was quick and very friendly, which made the experience even better.

Portion sizes are generous, and prices are reasonable for the quality and taste.

“Great Korean comfort food in a small dining room in Ellicott City. I ordered their Seolleongtang with brisket. Broth isn’t as rich and creamy compared to other places but it was still pretty good. Many pieces of brisket. I did add quite a bit of salt. My daughter really wanted their bimbimguksu, but they don’t have it anymore. She got their bimbimnaengmyun and liked it. The steamed egg with cheese was good and unique.

“Update: I went in this morning to speak with a manager and while the manager was busy, the young man at the register, David was able to address the situation. He apologized and made me the smoothie I'd ordered from last night. I appreciated the professionalism and this time my wait was less than 10 minutes. Since this was the first time at this location and they were accommodating to undo the mistake, my husband and I WILL be back again as we love smoothie king!

This location is short staffed and if you order online they just mark you order complete but never make the order. I placed an order through the app and my husband went to pick it up on his way home. There was only 1 lady working.
My husband got there at 9pm, but I ordered through the app as I wanted specific substitues that I didnt want him to inadvertantly mess up. I placed the order at 901pm and at 919pm (while my husband was waiting) the order was marked completed. After 20 minutes my husband asked when my order would come up and the lady said she never recieved the order. She told him we could just cancel the order and place it with her in person, but the app wasnt offering that option as it was already marked completed. On top of that she wasn't willing to simply make the order since it was an error on their end. This was our first time at this location and we were excited about there being a smoothie king closer to our home but we will not be returning!! Between waiting for the order, the lady looking through the system and my husband showing the lady my online receipt several times, he spent almost 40 MINUTES IN A SMOOTHIE CARRYOUT!! Essentially smoothie king stole $11.64 from me with no apology or solutions offered and wasted 40 minutes of our time!!!”

Best quality and fresh food will be served and it's an open kitchen you can walk around and see pretty clean. We had Masala dosa, theplas, dhokla and undhiyo”
