“My experience at Oleum was wonderful. Let me be clear and say that I am not vegan. I live by the motto that bacon makes everything better! I sometimes have meals that are vegetarian, but almost never vegan. Why? Because most of the vegan choices I've had are bland, filled with fluff, and just questionable.

That was not the case at Oleum. First, there are a plethora of choices for everyone, in all the categories from starters to mains and desserts.

Everything that came out was delicious. There is thought placed into every dish and each ingredient serves a purpose. It is rare to find such a culinary delight.

I can imagine that for vegans whether for health reasons, or personal choice, finding a good place to eat that you can trust would be difficult. But look no further. This is your place. And for the skeptical carnivores, that simply are looking for something different, a new adventure, or just good food, try Oleum. You won't be disappointed.

“This insomnia location is clean and quaint. My baker Keshia was friendly and made recommendations for me. She is great at upselling because I purchased more than I came to get but that is me not having self-restraint once it comes to Insomnia Cookies. I tried the limited time Cloud 9 Cravings cookie and it was delicious. You get a taste of that buttery sugar cookie and then is hit with the marshmallow. The cookie was done right, not too sweet but just the right amount to satisfy a sweet tooth. Looking forward to coming back for this cookie and the Campfire S’mores once it comes back again.“

“Had found the place by accident roaming around the night before and ordered a chicken sandwich that was AWESOME! So decided on it for the pizza, highly recommend, the following night while roaming again. Started speaking with a older woman behind the bar who is part owner and she was so delightful and informativ of the area of Little Italy and told me of some of the history associated with the area. Such a great experience for an out of stater to have.“

“We are visiting from Canada. We received fantastic service and the food was incredible. The restaurant even helped us get back to our hotel when the cab didn't show up as our phones weren't working. “I think I died and went to heaven lol. I was at a neighborhood outdoor festival and ordered from their food truck there. I expected it to be half the amount of food I received and delightfully surprised at the amount of food I got for $11! I can see why they have 100% positive ratings. “I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ampersea! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. I can honestly say that Joey is the sole reason we cannot wait to come back to enjoy a meal and a drink (or 2, or 3 haha) once the weather is nicer! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!“

(The crowd was all for pickup but they do have good dine-in space too.)
Yet, the quality of the food, the taste and spice was so good.
Had the egg white noodles 🍜 with mushrooms, spiced Breadcrumbs, spicy garlic sauce and parsley. Was so flavorful. Good quantity.

“We stopped by Miss Shirley’s Cafe during a trip to Baltimore after seeing glowing reviews on Google Map. It lived up to the hype.

Got here around 10am on a Sunday and waited about 20 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad considering the popularity.

The decor is fun, eclectic, and welcoming. The menu is huge with plenty of both sweet and savory options to choose from. We ordered the fried green tomato breakfast sandwich and the banana chocolate chips pancakes, and both were excellent. I’d order either again. One note: the hot chocolate is very sweet. I ordered it with the pancakes and found the combo too much. If you prefer less sweetness like I do, skip it.

Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant seemed very well run despite the crowds. Though it’s popular with tourists, the food and overall experience make it well worth a visit.“

This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. “This place is amazing. Their empanadas are absolutely the best in Maryland. Their Dominican steak bowl is AMAZING. The Korean bbq steak bowl… AMAZING!! My only complaint is their steak sub. While it was TOTALLY delicious, it was very small for $12. It was sooo good I wanted more.“
