“I came here on a double date and had been wanting to try it for a while. The Cinder and Sumac cocktail was unique and fresh. We shared the shishito peppers and potatoes for apps, which were both delicious. My partner and I ordered the miso mushroom bucatini and the pasta alla vodka to share. Both were very fresh and the quality of the pasta was very good, but I do feel they could have benefitted from a touch more salt (I don’t usually like my food super salty either). Most pastas give you the option to order a small or large size; we ordered the large and the portions were enormous — no complaints!— so just know that you can probably stick to the small if you’re sharing multiple pastas between two people. I didn’t catch our server’s name but she was incredibly kind, funny, and attentive. I will definitely be back!“

“First time and the atmosphere was great, little small for volume of patrons. The Hostess, "Crystal" went above and beyond and truly brings the vibe, knows her role, her ability to engage customers, her energy.. The food was and the presentation of the Flight Sampler was cool little birds.. We had Coco Bread(Better than Texas Roadhouse) , Salmond with Rice n peas and coconut cream sauce AND Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta. Topped off Crystal made me a personalized Mother's Day dessert of warm pound cake with vanilla ice cream and drizzle on top.. She definitely "Loves what she does" It ALL made for a great experience.“

The Special Tibbs was so great that we asked for a separate order of it in chicken (lamb, beef, or chicken). We “bothered” our waiter quite a bit and he didn’t mind a bit. He was so caring and kind. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. The decor has a nostalgic charm that took me right back to my childhood—especially the mini piano and gold telephone. “🥰 MR. AMIR and his family are absolutely lovely people. This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“Rusty Scupper was amazing. The goold was delicious but what really set them apart was how they went the extra mile for my parents anniversary dinner. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. Going above and beyond, thank you Rusty Scupper staff, thank you so very much. You gave my parents an experience that is above and beyond "like something out of a movie" mom keeps saying!!!!“

“A friend of mine told me I had to try Insomnia cookies. She said they are the best. The shop smells amazing when you walk in. Friendly service. So many yummy choices. I tried a couple and was not disappointed!! I will definitely stop in here or other locations when I see them. I also like that they have ice cream options as well. Food was great, cheese appetizer with their fruity sauce are incredibly delicious , fish entry was a pleasant surprise , very interesting spice bland and great mango slaw, could probably eat a whole bowl that !

Interior is very conscious , whole place is welcoming , really liked that tables are not cramped together and you have plenty of room . Great plants and color picks , you don’t feel rushed, staff is knowledgeable and accommodating .
Overall just great place must try in Baltimore , it’s like mom and pops place but in a finer dining setting“

“I think I died and went to heaven lol. I was at a neighborhood outdoor festival and ordered from their food truck there. I expected it to be half the amount of food I received and delightfully surprised at the amount of food I got for $11! I can see why they have 100% positive ratings. “I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ampersea! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. I can honestly say that Joey is the sole reason we cannot wait to come back to enjoy a meal and a drink (or 2, or 3 haha) once the weather is nicer! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!“
