“My husband, daughter, and I had dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was delicious. My husband had the Short rib Rigatoni, I had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, and our daughter had the seafood Flatbread. We took Heath Bar Bread Pudding home for dessert. Everything was amazing. Our server Mikey was attentive and provided great service.“

“Came for lunch. Our waitress was really nice but brought out food all at different times. Had crab dip, she-crab soup, shrimp and grits and crabcake platter, everything was delicious. Unfortunately almost every bite of crabcake had shell in it. Told waitress and she said "that's what I've been hearing", then told manager and you would think they would comp something at those prices but didn't offer. Tacos should have 3 per plate instead of 2. Still plan on coming back though as food was 9/10.“

“I took the wife to The Local Restaurant for our date night dinner. This was our first time here. Surprisingly, parking was somewhat limited for a surburban location. Fortunately, they offer valet parking service. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess and immediately taken to our table. No sooner, our server came and gave us a run down of the night's specials as well as some of the menu items. The staff brought out the free corn bread. I loved it, thought it was the best ever. Wife thought it was too sweet. We ordered the French Dip Bao Buns for appetizer. It consisted of shredded steak in a pita covered with a horseradish sauce. It had good flavor. Didn't need the au jus. For the entree, I had the Steak Frites. The steak being a prime rib cut was tender and juicy with a nice sear on the outside. We both enjoyed the generous portion of tasty truffle parmesan frites that came with the steak. My wife had the Duck Confit with Crab Fried Rice. It came with 2 giant duck legs. The duck meat was tender but the miso glaze was a little too salty for our pallets. The crab fried rice lacked flavor. Crab meat tasted fresh and not fishy tasting. I think I enjoyed the meal more than the wife. We both agreed that the portion sizes were very generous. You definitely will not leave here hungry. We also agreed that the service here is excellent.“

“Great food although on the pricey side. Portions were a bit small but nice presentation. Wine pour by the glass could have been a bit more generous. One diner's glass was sticky so sent back and instead of pouring a new glass of wine the same wine was poured into a new glass. Did not sit well with the table of patrons (and the wine was the most expensive on the menu by the glass).“

“Crabs really good. We never buy anything less than extra large.The rest of the items for sale in the refrigerator cases have all gone down hill. They don't make salads and soups the way they used to so we just get crabs. Thankfully I got the old shrimp mac salad recipe awhile ago from a friend who used to work there.“

“My favorite place to get crabs and/or seafood. Always fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Everything on their menu is delicious. Their shrimp salad is to die for! And their crabs are always heavy and delicious. They post their specials to their FB page daily. One of my fav things to get are the cold snack crabs when they're available. “It's definitely one of the top sushi spots in Harford County. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you go inside, the decor and atmosphere are quite nice. They offer sushi, hibachi, and also, beer, wine, and sake. They had a 2 or 3 roll special when my wife and I dined. The special didn't include all the rolls on the menu, but it includes the majority. We ordered miso soup, seaweed salad, and a 3 roll special. We chose the Good time Roll, the Tiffany Roll, and the Mexican Roll. They were well made and delicious! Nice presentation as well. For dessert, we ordered fried ice cream. It was a tempora coated scoop of vanilla. Delicious! Service staff was great! We will be back.“

“They have a wide range of beers so everyone will like what they have. They have several food options available and the additional seating outside in the tent is heated. Would definitely recommend it if in the area and we can't wait to go back again!“

“Such a great experience for our first time here, we were recommended this place by my boss and I'm so glad we took the recommendation because the food was absolutely delicious and we tried each other's plate so we could get a taste of more and the salmon was so scrumptious and the crab cake was incredible with jumbo lump meat but that Crab dip bread bowl was absolutely out of this world!! The establishment is beautifully decorated inside and the service was wonderful and so inviting and friendly. I recommend this establishment highly because it was an all around great experience!“

“We go to Steelfish several times a month. With a Bonefish and Red Lobster in our area, Steelfish offers fresher and tastier dishes.I ordered the seafood platter, which came with fired grouper, shrimp, and sea scallops. And if like grouper, I would suggest this dish along with fish and chips which is fried grouper, or the grouper sandwich.They got my order wrong and brought me the fish and chips. Our server came over and realized the kitchens' mistake and said they would make it right. Then, the general manager came over with the shrimp and scallops and put it all on the top of the fish and chips. So I had extra grouper (which is very good here) along with the shrimp and scallops, which I might add were cooked to perfection as well.Well done, Steelfish. I found out later that the general manager had only been there 5 weeks. I hope they keep him because he knows how to keep a customer happy.My one disappointment is that it doesn't know if it wants to be a sports establishment or a seafood restaurant.
