“I watched a co-worker having what I referred to as "a food fantasy". They recommended this particular location for its service and food. My waze directed me to the location which is adjacent to the JCPENNEY parking lot in a strip with 2 other businesses.I arrived midday and was welcomed by a pleasant woman near the door. Within 5-10 minutes my meal was prepared which was a combo of teriyaki chicken and shrimp with veggies, noodles, green onions, sesame seeds and extra sauce.The staff was very pleasant and appeared to work well together as a team. The portions were generous and I would definitely eat there again. After I got home I too had "a food fantasy". My vegetables were perfectly cooked, not hard or overcooked. The meats were tender, fresh and flavorable.I have since eaten at two other locations and have come back to this one for a new combo. This time I added steak and the next time I will add salmon which came highly recommended by many people.I would definitely recommend this location, the service and the food options.

Parking: In front of the business are several parking spaces. The overflow lot of JCPENNEY is available as well.“

“Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!“

“Don't let the exterior of the building fool you. Closed on Sundays. Visited on a Monday at 3pm and the door was locked, but opened very fast (they were on lunch break!). Let me tell you, the couple that own and operate this restaurant are the kindest, most amazing people. The husband took out order and served us while his wife prepared the sushi. Oh, and the SUSHI!!! Expectations exceeded, by far! Ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Box, A roll of Spicy Salmon Sushi and a roll of Shrimp Tempura Sushi (shared by 2 people). The Teriyaki Box was good but the Sushi Rolls were outstanding!!! Whole meal with 2 non alcoholic drinks came to about $65 without tip, which was WELL worth it! The salmon taste so delicious . It was my first time eating from Sakura and the young lady named “keren” was really helpful explaining the menu to me . Also if you get a bowl the crab meat and shrimp is so delicious. Every thing was fresh .“

“The pictures are not up to to date and they have much less options now. There's no more poke bowls, dim sum, or sushi. Just rice/noodle bowls, and pho.

I got a fried rice bowl with teriyaki chicken, and it was very good. You get to pick that toppings, just like Chipotle. It's a weird choice, but I added potatoes to it, and they were SO good. Great favor, soft and with crispy skin.

The serving sizes are big and I couldn't finish. I was just a bit disappointed they didn't have poke bowls any more.“

“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.“

“This place was amazing on all levels! We walked in and it was a fantastic vibe. The service was the best I ever had, I don't think we had a dirty plate sit for longer than 30 seconds. I started with a cocktail - Where did all the rum go. If you like Tiki style drinks it's a must try. We had the Bulgarian Banista, Maine Scallop Crudo and Squash Quesadilla to start. They were all delish, but the Squash Quesadilla was my favorite. I had the Sea Bass for my entrée, the fish was amazing and the sauce - soooooo good! Ended with the Creme Brulee, which was perfect. The sugar topping was that glass like texture that is so fun to crack. If you are in DC you have to check this place out.“

“There is always someone cleaning the tables and the environment is SO clean and comfortable. Especially the service too, they are so nice and patient with customers. AND the FOOD, it is so DELICIOUS, the portion is really good, they also give out extra sauces without charging extra 😋😋“

My only complaint is that when my glucose level dropped very low, I asked for a cup so I could get some ice and drink something to raise my sugar. Unfortunately, I never received the cup. As someone living with diabetes, this was not only disappointing but also concerning, since timely support in those moments is very important. “Sushi Hachi is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to; it was so good that my boyfriend and I went back two nights in a row. Their cocktails are great, and my personal favourite was the 8th street specialty sushi. The atmosphere and mood is calm and pleasant, and the staff and service is top notch. I have to mention our waitress too from the second time, Soko. She remembered us from the previous night, she even remembered which drink she had made me! “Their Tiger Roll is by far the best shrimp tempura roll I’ve ever had. So good I ate it twice in one day and I don’t live right around the corner either. “This place is so fun if you love a variety of Asian foods, and this evening I happened to walk in on a fantastic live jazz band playing by the bar. Last time, we had Korean tacos and tempura, this time I’m having croffles, miso soup, and spaghetti. (I know it’s weird but it’s all so delicious)“

“It is a place that I have visited since its inauguration, which has been several years now, the service is very good, the food is healthy, what I miss are the soups that they sold when the place opened, they were very delicious and healthy chicken and beef soups.“
