“This unassuming place serves delectable, 100% authentic Korean “pub grub.” The friendly owners took the time to explain the menu. They also made sure we had plenty to drink and eat throughout our stay. Our orders came out of the kitchen quickly…and the food was DELICIOUS! ?

The plain fried chicken was a bit bland (we ordered it for the young kids…so it was perfect for them). However, anything that is seasoned I’d recommend. The owner brought a free “sampler platter” of condiments to our table midway through our meal. This sampler included kimchi. I lived in Korea for 6 months; Seoul Pub boasts the best kimchi I’ve ever tried. The kimchi is both mild and complex in flavor.

The prices here are also amazingly reasonable. We ate well and drank well, yet our total pre-tip (for a party of 8 adults) was under $200.

I’d highly recommend Seoul Pub for a night of great Asian food and drinks (the Soju is delicious).“

“I had steamed monkfish.. There are no real good restaurants in ELLICOTT CITY, where I live now. There is no restaurant that is particularly good at steamed monkfish. However, I ate delicious monkfish for the first time in a while at Hyeban. I love braised monkfish, and for the first time in a long time, I ate it very deliciously. The portion is huge.. If two people come, you can really eat the monkfish to the fullest.. Above all, the service is really the best.. The servers are great. Very friendly.. “This was a great experience. Grace was very attentive. But I want to call out the sushi rolls themselves. These were some of the best rolls in Maryland, major props to the chef. This place is a hidden gem, hole in the wall place. It's awesome, yes it's small but cozy highly recommend dropping by and grabbing a roll or two.
I experienced the Red roll and yummy yummy.“

“What's not to love? The food is fantastic and their service was even better. The banchan (side dishes) were delicious. The tabletop cooking added to the dining experience. The meat was cooked to perfection. We were each given complimentary scrambled eggs.

The only catch: they don't take reservations. So coordinate and plan accordingly. They only seat you when the full group arrives.

Rice was fresh, beef was tender, and topping were all tasty and fresh. More variety of toppings than i have gotten at other (chain) restaurants in the past. “I was in the area so planned to get a quick salmon avocado roll snack. I recall it was very reasonably priced in the past. Once in the mostly empty store I saw they offered Poke Bowls for roughly $10. I usually pay closer to $20 for Poke so gave it a go. There were minimal choices to make, salmon or tuna and sauce on top or the side. In the end the salmon Poke bowl was quite good for $10 and it included avocado which is usually an upcharge at other places. I'll be back for another when I'm nearby.“
