“Celebrated my birthday at Empress Coffee & Cocktails with my girls, and it was everything! The food and drinks were incredible -- we tried so many dishes and loved every bite. The Persian pizza (a house favorite) was full of flavor, the soup and grilled cheese combo was pure comfort, and the turkey + havarti sandwich, bacon egg croissant, and margarita pizza were all delicious and perfectly done. The drinks? Just wow. The espresso martini is an absolute yes! We also loved the butterfly margarita, lava-shak martini, and Malibu sunset -- all beautifully crafted and fun to sip. Plus, they offer a nice selection of wines and juices to purchase. Shots were order as well. Had too much fun didn't take pictures of all the food and drinks. The space itself is perfect for a girls' day or night out -- stylish and cozy with beautiful lighting and thoughtful décor. We especially loved the artwork of the girl with the pearl earrings -- such a fun and elegant touch! We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, which made the whole evening feel extra special. Huge shoutout to Sam, the owner, who was such a warm and welcoming host. Highly recommend this gem for a celebration or a chill hangout. Can't wait to go back!“

“Out of the 5 or 6 Starbucks near me this location is consistently more favorable. The staff are 1 notch more mature in their service and sensitivity to the needs of the customers who either study or work remotely from this location. ALL of the team Leads at this location are masters of their craft and customer service.
On this particular evening, the "Service Master" was Ryan who I observed him do something I have not seen done before at Starbucks. He perfectly aligned each Chair-to-Table. Each table was symmetrically aligned in 1 row with a chair symmetrically aligned in 1 row. This resulted in the coffee shop looking a lot more organized. Thanks Starbucks crew at the Spectrum Ave location.“

“Today, I’d like to express why I think Starbucks is Starbucks. Besides their social missions & their products are well sourced and consistently good. More than this the Service it’s usually very high, but in this particular case the service was above and beyond. I got 2 Matcha teas and unfortunately dropped them both in my car. I was between forget about Matcha or get 2 new. I decided to get 2 new. Back in Starbucks the barista asked me if I forgot something, I told him what happened and he gave me 2 FREE Matcha and hot water and towel to clean my car. While I was cleaning my car he delivered the teas. You call it Starbucks I call it SERVICE!“

Tables were prestinctly clear and very sparkling because John wiped it down. Very very good employee please give him a raise. If you ever see him here please give him a big tip for me my card declined so I couldnt tip him. He is the type of person to give 100 bubble teas to the homeless and not make me pay for them. My friend suggest this place for evening snack time catch up , we ordered Taro milk black tea , pineapple milk tea. Taste wise really good and the tapioca pearls are wield cooked blended well. “We’ve been regular customers since well before Neal’s moved to its current location. The bagels are delicious (more New Yorky and flavorful than others in the area) and always fresh. The sliced turkey breast, Nova, and chicken salad are some of our favorites. Lots of other tasty menu items too. Highly recommend!“
