“I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.“

“Good place to come for a quiet dinner. Food was good. I ordered the salmon (blackened) with the garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was really good. Workers there were wonderful and so nice. I put only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because the bathrooms are really far and you have to leave the restaurant and go towards the middle of the hotel to find them.“

“What a wonderful experience. I arrived at this restaurant for their happy hour on Saturday. It was busy but we were able to sit at a table in the bar area. The service was first rate, the food was terrific and very generous especially since it was happy hour. I will be back with both friends and family.“

The GM was extremely accommodating and communicative. The event-day staff was professional and outgoing. The food was top notch. There were no surprises. The event went as planned, and I was complimented by practically every guest about how amazing the place, experience, and food was.

I tried to visit again over Labor Day weekend, but it was packed and I know why! This is definitely a place I'll visit again when in town.“

“Their food is so reasonably priced and very good. Crab cakes were tasty and full of lump meat and broiled perfectly. The fries are hand cut and delicious, and the salad bar is nice. I also tried the fried okra ( yum) and the green beans were very tasty too. Wait staff was refreshingly friendly and attentive. Don’t be taken aback by the atmosphere. It’s an older place but it’s kept very clean. They also have a full service bar👍“

“Aztk Foodtruck recently cooked the food for a wine paring dinner at Crescent Wine and Spirits. It was a four-course small plate dinner pair with Sposato Wine. My favorite was the Salmon Tartare, but everything was delicious. I would definitely call on them to cater an occasion.“
