“It was my first time going to this place , the staff can try to be more welcoming and pleaseant and help they clients to order , I had to take my mask off to speak and let them know what i wanted and as i was ordering I felt like i was being rushed to order , the food was tasting but tge owner needs to change the way the food is charged , I was charge for each separate item this is not a place where you order yourself a complete meal for a full charge , the food was delicious but I would not go back and another turn off in the bakery area they had flies around the sweet bread .“

“I love to try the best bakeries around the world and Bread Alley’s quality is definitely world class.
The harissa sourdough with black sesame crust was one of the best sourdoughs I’ve had in the US. Same for the almond croissant - insanely crunchy, buttery, not too sweet, with an almost custard like almond paste (devoured before we took a photo).“

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience at DeeDee Delights! She was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful that I was nearly left speechless.
My brother and his wife are newlyweds who are soon welcoming their first child. With many family members far away, I wanted them to have the best gender reveal possible—and that meant a cake. I wasn’t sure what could be done on such short notice, but DeeDee made it happen! She gave me the most cute and beautiful cake for us to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our bundle of joy. She truly made our day :).“

“After seeing tons of cars visiting all day, I decided to check out the online menu. The steak nachos are tender and delicious, loaded with toppings. Taquitos with chicken were great. Also got the birria tacos, horchata and tres de leches cake. May need to return asap. 🤣“

“I went here for a last minute birthday cake run. They have a round cake and sheet cake available. My expectation was minimum due to the cake being a window cake, but I couldn't be any more wrong. The cake was delicious! The icing wasn't too sweet. The celebrant and guests loved it. The service was also very pleasant. Highly recommended!“

“Iverson Cookies IS The Great Cookie! In fact the greatest cookie! It’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Every cookie is perfectly balanced between crunchiness and chewiness. It’s truly the best of both worlds and a one of a kind cookie. The prices are fair and it’s impossible to just eat ONE! The flavor and texture is always consistent and never disappoints. “Excellent baked goods! We get stollen each Christmas, it’s a 30+ year tradition in our family. Several years ago, our favorite bakery we ordered our stollen from closed. Since then, we have tried various bakeries. Unfortunately, none have been as good…until now. Ravenhook Bakehouse stollen is the BEST we have had. It has outstanding texture and the amount of fruit is perfect. The figs were a nice surprise. Additionally, we also had the pecan bars, as well as iced Christmas and gingerbread men cookies They, too, were delicious. The pecan bars crust had the buttery goodness you want from a pecan bar, but weren’t greasy as some can be. The pecan filling was perfect. The gingerbread cookie had the amount of ginger you look for in this classic holiday treat. The iced Christmas cookies were classic in the best way.
We placed our Christmas treats order online and picked them up at the DuPont Circle Farmers Market - it was so easy. Additionally, Ravenhook has friendly customer service. I called with a few questions and the baker was extremely helpful.
We look forward to sampling more Ravenhook baked goods in 2025!“

“We consider ourselves conesures of cupcakes. Traveled the US and abroad tasting cupcakes. These were the very worst. Customer service is terrible. Sprinkles, Georgetown, and Heaven Sent Cupcakery Cupcakes exceeds these by leaps and bounds and they all have EXCELLECT Customer service. Oh and their cupcakes are half the price. Sugar Vault is true to its name. The frosting like many have complained has no flavor and measures about a third of a cup in ratio to the cupcake and is unbarerably sweet. The cupcake lacked moisture and was a bit dense. The red velvet did not have a red velvet flavor. Oh and you can't go in to see what you are buying. This is the only bakery that will not allow you to enter even in small numbers rotating thru. Buyer beware...price far exceeds the value. $7 cupcakes, $16 cinnamon roll (haven't yet tried the cinnamon roll). Bought 2 red velvet cupcakes taste tested one and threw the frosting and other cupcake out.“

“Someone moved my blue basket that was in front of my machines, 2 side by side and took my card that was in it with over $9 I just added and when I spoke with the OWNER he was rude and was not helpful at all. As much money I spent in here you should had definitely should’ve taken the L and just have given me a credit. He kept saying it’s not our fault you don’t have your card and I said I never blamed anyone or specifically I just want my money back. Plain n simple. You making money everyday that $9 was nothing to just making a customer feel heard n understood. My last time coming here. I’m no longer a supporter and if I could give zero stars I would………“

“Ordered a three-tiered chocolate cake for my parents’ 30th anniversary party for 100 people - it was worth every penny! It was just the right level of rich, sweet, and smooth. “Blown away by the quality of the pastries at this bakery. I was looking to make a quick stop before going to my in laws, so I went there and bought pastries, I was expecting a high bill and boom for 8 pastries I paid about $9 ! Let me tell you how shocked I was! I thought it was a prank or a joke.
Its super affordable , staff was nice and helpful. The only downside is that a box is $3 which is a lot . But i truly enjoyed the pastries with my family.
Seems like one can order birthday cakes there too. They accept payment by phones too . Parking is great since it’s in a shopping center. My favorite pastries was a kind of big donut sandwich with custard in the middle.“

“A local checking this out for the first time.
Ordered two tacos to go and some churros from their bakery case. Churros still tasted fresh mid-day and were super crunchy. Ordered one chicken and one steak taco. Fantastic tacos. Was surprised about the 15min wait for the tacos, so ended up waiting in the car to come back and get them. Grabbed pics of their current menu since this seemed to be outdated a little online.“
“Chela was able to turn my order around quickly. Payment and pick-up were a breeze. I was looking for a bakery that could provide specialty cupcakes for a prom but didn't realize how challenging the request would be. The cupcakes were much larger than I expected (more like muffins). My guests enjoyed the icing but found it difficult to eat the entire muffin. The presentation was also a bit disappointing but served its purpose. I purchased 2 dozen and still have an entire box left (last photo).“

“This little shop is mighty, and its owner Catherine is so lovely! GBBO fans will be delighted that, yes, THIS is the place where you can find a cherry bakewell (#IYKYK). Be sure to ask if there are any savory offerings in the back - I recently had a terrific mushroom and spinach tart that convinces me that I should just buy whatever savory offering is on deck.I can't wait till afternoon tea service is available. I'll definitely be there.“
