“So glad to find this local business to place an order with for a friend's bachelorette party! We went to a winery and I wanted to bring some desserts to share, but wanted it all individually wrapped (Covid-19 times call for a little twist on what you normally do, huh?). LaWann was awesome to work with and gave me suggestions on which desserts would work best as individuals. I ended up ordering red velvet mini bunt cakes (SO GOOD!) and heart shaped snickerdoodle cookies (I know they were good cause they were all gone by the time I went to get one!). They even had cute decorations to fit our winery bachelorette party! Keeping Strib'ble in mind for future birthdays & holidays!“

“It was my first time going to this place , the staff can try to be more welcoming and pleaseant and help they clients to order , I had to take my mask off to speak and let them know what i wanted and as i was ordering I felt like i was being rushed to order , the food was tasting but tge owner needs to change the way the food is charged , I was charge for each separate item this is not a place where you order yourself a complete meal for a full charge , the food was delicious but I would not go back and another turn off in the bakery area they had flies around the sweet bread .“

“Ms. Donna and the Kake Korner Krew are the absolute best. My sister was turning 40 and I found out she wasn't going to have a cake. I had 48hrs to do something. Overwhelmed, frustrated and with tears in my eyes I prayed and walked into Kake Korner. The Krew and Ms. Donna said they could make it happen and that is exactly what they did. The cake was beautiful, flavorful, moist and affordable. Thank you for saving the day and me from almost falling apart.“

“I love to try the best bakeries around the world and Bread Alley’s quality is definitely world class.

The harissa sourdough with black sesame crust was one of the best sourdoughs I’ve had in the US. Same for the almond croissant - insanely crunchy, buttery, not too sweet, with an almost custard like almond paste (devoured before we took a photo).“

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience at DeeDee Delights! She was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful that I was nearly left speechless.

My brother and his wife are newlyweds who are soon welcoming their first child. With many family members far away, I wanted them to have the best gender reveal possible—and that meant a cake. I wasn’t sure what could be done on such short notice, but DeeDee made it happen! She gave me the most cute and beautiful cake for us to celebrate the upcoming arrival of our bundle of joy. “Cakes Plus provided a wonderful cake for my son's wedding several years ago, so my son recommended the bakery when I wanted to purchase a cake for my grandson's 30th birthday. I knew the words I wanted written on the cake, but didn't have a design in mind. Many, many thanks to Hannah for her patience and for helping me nail the perfect design!! Everyone loved the vanilla sheet cake. (See picture.) It was beautiful and delicious. Then, when I went to pickup the vanilla sheet cake, on a whim, I decided to also purchase a smaller, off the shelf, lemon cake with a balloon design. People who tried both cakes at the birthday events said both were amazing, but they loved the taste of the lemon cake more than the vanilla. I wish we weren't limited to rating this bakery 5 stars! Lol!!“

“I’ve been buying my bread here since moving into the area and I’ve always had very positive interactions with staff. Their treats are very good, I recommend the polish apple slices and brownies and I’ve not had a sandwich there yet that I didn’t enjoy. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality. Glad to have this in my backyard.“

“Yesterday evening I last minute decided to go to this establishment a little too late not paying attention to their closing time. It is very rare that when you see a business closing that the people inside will pay you any mind. I would have been over excited if they had payed me attention and nothing else. The person at the desk not only acknowledged me but proceeded to ring up my order (which he didn’t have to do) beyond their closing hours. I think we all know what we go to this established for at this point but this person went above and beyond and helped me to walk away from here with a feeling that is rare in this day and age. I wish I knew his name but his attention to detail and customer service spoke volumes and left an impression. ✨“

“The only remaining Bakery in Md. for real home made Baked Goods, not commercial chemical preservative filled crap like the big grocery stores do it. Stop in Stoltzfus Bakery at the Dutch Market in Laurel Md. Old fashioned Baked items of all kinds, at a great Market, Twenty minutes from B’More and DC, just a couple miles from 295 or 95 making it the easiest Md Farmers Market to get in and out of. On 198 across from the Laurel Horse Races. Talk to authentic Amish owners, Ben or Ike while you’re there. Cakes ,Pies, Quiches, Cupcakes ,Loaves, Cookies, Muffins, Whoopies, Fry Pies, Fresh Doughnuts, Custom cake decorating upon request and much much more. Plenty of parking and refreshments.“

“We consider ourselves conesures of cupcakes. Traveled the US and abroad tasting cupcakes. These were the very worst. Customer service is terrible. Sprinkles, Georgetown, and Heaven Sent Cupcakery Cupcakes exceeds these by leaps and bounds and they all have EXCELLECT Customer service. Oh and their cupcakes are half the price. Sugar Vault is true to its name. The frosting like many have complained has no flavor and measures about a third of a cup in ratio to the cupcake and is unbarerably sweet. The cupcake lacked moisture and was a bit dense. The red velvet did not have a red velvet flavor. Oh and you can't go in to see what you are buying. This is the only bakery that will not allow you to enter even in small numbers rotating thru. Buyer beware...price far exceeds the value. $7 cupcakes, $16 cinnamon roll (haven't yet tried the cinnamon roll). Bought 2 red velvet cupcakes taste tested one and threw the frosting and other cupcake out.“

I ordered the Nova and it was the perfect breakfast bite: fresh, flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what I wanted without feeling heavy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place you actually want to sit for a bit instead of sprinting out with your cup.

I was looking for a bakery that could provide specialty cupcakes for a prom but didn't realize how challenging the request would be. The cupcakes were much larger than I expected (more like muffins). My guests enjoyed the icing but found it difficult to eat the entire muffin. The presentation was also a bit disappointing but served its purpose. I have used them for birthday parties, bridal showers, gender reveals, and baby showers, and the desserts are always delicious and I receive so many compliments from guests. The owner, Lynette, is very creative with her designs and willing to match your theme. My favorite desserts are the lemon cupcakes, the 7-up pound cake and the variety of cake pops. Excellent customer service and even better desserts!“
