“Great place to get lunch and ample seating. Used to frequent the one in Alexandria but now the Greenbelt one is closer. I love the food and the service. The ladies are always nice. Entrance can be tricky but after a few times easy to find. Chicken/Steak pita is my go-to! Affordable and filling lunch option.“

The food is Greek Mediterranean. In comparison to Chipotle. I prefer CAVA food. It is definitely healthier.

“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!“

“I come to this Mezeh at least 3 times a week. So much so that the employees recognize me when I come in. I am amazed to see these one star ratings. As many times as I have come in, they have been nothing but gracious and provide outstanding customer service. I read some of these one star ratings and with the exception of the delivery for the corporate affair, I question some.

As a native Ward 8 member I was elated to see Mezeh and other corporate chains coming into my community. But I also realized that there would be challenges (which is why it is so hard to keep such businesses here). I’m gone say it… some of my fellow Anacostians just are not respectful. I have seen some come in the store and because they have to pay extra for extra meat or something more that they want, they go off. I one time had to say something because it was so innapropriate and unwarranted. It’s like they try to bully the workers because they are not black.

I hate to say this but it happens too much not in just this store but others and I’m tired of seeing establishments shut down because employees don’t want to be threatened or harmed. Walmart pulled out from being over here because they were going to have to pay too much for security and the Giant has threatened to pull out as well. IHOP is closed, the 7/11 on Barry Ave closed, Subway use to stay open 24 hours but had to stop because of this craziness. We can’t keep nothing over here and it’s not the establishment, it’s us not knowing how to receive customer service. I know these are hard times but damn.

This is a great store and I have only been in Starbucks and The Smoothie store and they are trying to make it in a tough area. Good Luck yall cause I wouldn’t put up with some of this bull. Peace“

“I usually don't complete surveys of my fast-food take-out experiences. However, I was inclined to take the time out today to share my experiences as I have been pleased each time that I go to this location through the week. I wanted to express that this Cava has a great friendly staff that is always efficient in their processes, they appear to have great team chemistry, very welcoming and prepared for each customer upon arrival, and all the ingredients are always fresh and presentable. I go to their store easily 3 times a week for a nice quality fulfilling meal. Inside the store is also presentable and very suitable to dine-in, cleanliness is maintained, and bathrooms when I use are also well kept. Overall, I just want to express my appreciation for their service and to keep up the great work. As for food options I usually make a custom bowl with a lot of ingredients so not a standard menu option on the menu.

Kid-friendliness: Certainly a kid-friendly environment in general the area and within the store. Particularly based on the nice staff and presentable facility along with the bathroom that would be key for someone bringing kids to dine-in. However, I do want to note that it may be limited seating.“

Chick-fil-A was my favorite for a while but then got fed up with all the greasiness. Then all of a sudden I find myself being best pals with the manager 'Angel' who is a literal angel blessing me with meals that just make my day better. All of the employees are friendly and prior to meeting the manager, my meals were plain and dry so I asked him if he could make me something good and he definitely came through. I go there pretty much every time I eat at Stamp now, so if your excuse is that you don't know what to get just ask Angel. Or just ask for the Angel special and they will get you right what he makes me. I've yet to get tired of this place because the food is so fresh unlike what can be argued for the other dining options there. Give it a try.“
