“I don't usually go online and write reviews, but this restaurant deserved it. The food was so authentic and hit home. Staff, service, and the environment were excellent. Would come again.Parking: A very open area, and the parking lot is very close to the restaurant.“
“It's a bit of a shame that they had such a high demand during opening day but weren't able to execute. It appears that the quality of dumplings may have gone downhill. Not many other dishes shine as well as the dumplings so some work needs to be done.“
“Easily the best hotpot experience we've had in the area. They give large fresh portions of meat, the buffet has a large variety of meats, and veggies. The soup was perfect. My wife and I decided that whenever we want hotpot this is the place we're going from now on.“
“Ever since we found out about this place, we've been here almost every week. It's a good thing we don't live closer because we would have been here everyday. We've tried different dishes each time and have yet to encounter a dud. Everything we've tried was amazing! I'm usually not the biggest fan of Sichuan food because I feel the spice just overwhelms all other flavors. But not at Tea Horse! The red peppers add fragrance and aroma but not much heat (if you avoid eating the red peppers directly).I highly recommend the Chicken with Sichuan Pepper, Kung Pao chicken, and the stir fried cabbage (how in the world do they make cabbage taste so good?!). Honestly you can't go wrong with anything. The only things I wouldn't order again are the soup dumplings and pan fried dumplings...not that they aren't good, but I've had better. When there are so many outstanding authentic dishes to try, why settle for anything less than spectacular? I can't wait to go back!“
“Beautiful austere interior but with plenty of warm bright lighting. So so so happy there were carts! Carts filled with some of the BEST dim sum I have ever had. I have been to multiple dim sum restaurants in multiple cities on both coasts — this place knows what they’re doing. The pork buns were so tasty and fluffy. All the classics here and very well prepared.“
“Great service, great quality, always a hit any time we bring newcomers!Snow crab legs included ? that alone is fantastic and many local hot pots do not provide.Meat quality, veggies, and all the sides - excellent!Plus unlimited wintermelon green tea from gong cha?!Ambiance takes you to another world! Fantastic vibe and great service.Reservations are taken so if you're coming with a large group or during a busy time, call ahead.“
“#1 best Chinese take out in the city. I moved here from NYC and had pretty high standards for Chinese take out and tried many until I found golden wok. Hidden gem! My go to order is the boneless spare rib combo w extra sauce, pork fried rice, egg roll, scallion pancakes and the dumplings. The absolute star of the show is the sauce that comes w the scallion pancakes and dumplings! I could drink it!!! Everything is hot, fresh and so tasty. 100000000/10“
“The lamb stir fry was very good, but the hot and sour soup was just a bit better than average. The ambience was really good. Old school culture Chinese charm with modern style updates, a real nice hybrid atmosphere. It super clean and wait staff very helpful and warm.“
“Delicious food and very generous portions (literally bursting out of the to-go boxes!). Friendly staff and it was also a very nice gesture to include a small package of German chocolates around the holiday season. Happy holidays! ❄️? ??“
“We frequent this place as it’s the closest to our neighborhood. The service is very friendly always. The food is good quality and made with good quality ingredients. The inside of the restaurant is a bit too cold, but that’s my only gripe. If you carry out your food, my only piece of advice is to get it right away. Don’t let it sit too long or it won’t be as tasty :)“
“Today I ordered a delivery order for a work lunch so it was a larger order, to feed 20 people. The delivery was right on time, everything was there, the taste and temperature were fantastic. Everyone loved it and kept asking where it was from. Very happy with order and will certainly order from again. Thank you!“
“This place lives up to it's reviews. I have eaten here twice. It has been really good both times. Not a ton of seating for really busy times. I like to time visits around lunch rush. Staff is nice. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. There is not a lot of street parking so if you find a spot, grab it.“
“Well as Chinese restaurants go, it's pretty standard. It's a small space so seating really isn't an option and after the lockdowns, I guess they realize their niche is delivery and/or pick-up service. First, i'm sure this isn't a big deal but they have a $10 minimum requirement for using a card. Because I wasn't overly hungry, I had to over order to get what I wanted. I ordered an egg roll, port wontons, and a large box of rice. I know, it's a weird order but I wasn't overly hungry but wow, the food was good! Egg rolls can be hit or miss depending on how the restaurant works but these were flavorful, filled with lots of cabbage and pork (I think) crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. Their egg rolls are reminiscent of a restaurant I frequented in Sioux Falls, SD. I was impressed. The fried wontons were a little different. I was surprised at the amount of pork that was in them but on the flip side, while they were crispy, I got the feeling they were made with several layers of wrappers which made it hard to break into and eat. Still, it was tasty and they all got eaten! White rice is something I can eat alone or with something. It was pretty standard but it was good. Other than the card minimum, I'd recommend this place to those living or staying in the area.“
“We partnered with this establishment many times in catering/festivals and has truly been a successful partnership. Yunnan Asian cuisine is a bit difference from our usual Cantonese Asian cuisine however, Water Song has always exceeded our expectation with their authentic ingredients.“
“Our favorite Chinese local Chinese spot. The Peking duck and limoncello shrimp, a fun play on walnut shrimp it seems, are our faves. The do exceptional takeout. When they get busy service can be a little slow but the food is always hot and yummy. Bartenders are exceptionally knowledgeable and have made superb recommendations for us.“
“My husband and I just moved to the area and was riding by late at night. We figured the place was pretty good due the the reviews and amount of people outside. Well… I can say this has been the BEST Chinese food I’ve had in years. We will be back!“
“The food is always hot and fresh and isn’t greasy like a lot of places are. The owners/staff are always very very friendly. This is my go to place for Chinese food. I drive 30+ mins because it’s that good! Their vegetable egg rolls are my FAVORITE! And the roasted pork fried rice is so good too!“
“My son found this place one day when we were looking for something different and decent to eat. Within the last two months, my son and I have eaten at Blessings Carryout more than a half a dozen times. I must say that I’m very picky about the food that I eat, but their food is delicious. It’s not far from John Hopkins hospital and right across the street from North East market place…They have a great lunch special menu. Today I got orange chicken with lo mein noodles, and shrimp egg foo yong with fried rice. My son and I shared both dishes and it was delicious as always. All for just $16.50.“
“Having tried a large number of Chinese takeout places around the city, this one stands far above the rest. It has lower prices than my former go-to, and the food is better as well. They do their own delivery so no need to pay lots of fees to an app, and the turnaround time is reasonable even on a Friday night. Next time you want some Chinese takeout this is the place to get it from.“
“We came across town to check out the Chinese food here. It was ok. Would I come across town again for it, probably not. But he price was great: we got a beef yat gaw mein, shrimp fried rice, and shrimp egg foo yung for around $20. The area is sketchy, so stay vigilant. Tip: Call and order ahead so you can pick up and go. They are also a cash only business.“
“Wow a authentic pull noodle place that is local to here and not have to drive to Rockville or Virginia. This small cozy place serves great fresh handmade noodles which you can customize noodle sizes to your preference. The noodles have a nice springy and chewyness to them. I got the regular sized noodles and they were fantastic. Went really well in the beef broth. The tea egg was really good as well.If you are a fan of Asian noodles then I would give this place a try.I noticed they have cold noodles as well. I think I will try that next time in the summer.“
“Food came out super quick and service was top notch. I agree with the previous post that the drunken noodles didn't have the classic flavor I expected. However, the part that leaves a bad taste in my mouth is that I was not informed of the policy to upcharge credit cards 3%, allegedly to stay "in line with industry standards," when the meal was already expensive. (I did not receive a folder with the check before paying - I handed my card directly to the server.) If I had known this beforehand, I would have used a different card, or cash.“
“The food is exceptional, although it can be found looking up Chinese food, it's Japanese American hibachi style food. It's the only "Chinese" my husband will eat. I am a little disappointed that they don't offer pork, but I do understand their reasoning. Would definitely recommend.“
“My first ever there & the food was awesome everything was great I can't lie & I love fried chicken ? in going tonight. And the cheese steak eggroll was everything & I don't normally do steak but lawd ? it was so good.. Thank you ? ?“
“i come here every saturday and oh my gosh it hits the spot. big portions for the price! the staff are really friendly and welcoming, the place is always clean, and it's always fun to watch them interact with the regulars by name. probably the best chinese food i've ever had by a mile. my favorite go tos here are sweet and sour soup and the tomato pepper rice. ^__^Vegetarian options: the bean curd meals are amazing :D good veggie options“
“I had a great time for lunch the other day! The food was fresh and delicious- They had a huge selection- noodles, sushi! The staff was attentive and we got water right when we sat down. The restaurant was painted dark but had a lot of light coming in! It was a relaxed vibe for sure“
“Katana Sushi of Elkridge was amazing. The sushi was super fresh and very tasty. I’ve tried the other sushi restaurants in the area and around Columbia and I like Katana more, they really impressed me. I also really liked their customer service and how pleasant they were. Highly recommend them. All the rolls were delicious!“
“My husband and I ate lunch at this place and we liked it very much. We were warmly welcomed, the place is pleasant and cozy. The food came out quite quickly and the flavor was tasty. The portions of the meals are quite generous. We were able to eat half of it and take each other. With our eyes closed, we recommend this place.?❤️“
“BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!! FAMILY LOVED IT!!! THEY EVEN SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAUGHTER IN CHINESE!!! FOOD WAS FRESH AND VERY VERY TASTEY. WE DROVE 1 HOUR EACH WAY TO GET THERE AND BACK FROM GREAT WOLF LODGE IN PERRYVILE AND IT WAS SO WELL WORTH IT.“
“First time eating today , I really wanted some YAKAMIEN! It’s season well but the only thing I wish ( it was darker and greasy ?) it be so good that way . I will go back to get more and I’m glad they answer the PHONE QUICK! I called my order in rather me sitting in my car in a dark area .I wish they had this in the COUNTY ! Just a FYI, I literally have to drive 30 mins for this and it’s worth it.“
“This place is good. I dont really want to tell people so it doesn't become too busy. But i also want them to do good so they stay in buisness. One of the last places that deliver and not through a lousy 3rd party with extra fees and higher prices. People on the phone are always nice and easy to easy to talk to and understand. It's definitely my go-to Chinese food place.“
“I am picky with my fried rice lol I have found a great place in Baltimore that I recommend for authentic fried rice and NOT yellow rice! I hate when the other places call yellow rice mixed with peas and carrots fried rice. This place was good and flavorful. I also had a cheesesteak eggroll“
“We order one time a year from Happy Garden on Christmas Eve as a family tradition. The delivery is fast, the food is delicious, the pricing has increased over the years but we only support there business one time a year so no big deal. Lo mein, fried rice, egg rolls, and beef and broccoli are always excellent! We will continue the annual tradition.“
“Since the 'pandemic' the Dine-In is no longer an option. However they do such a good job & are so well liked the joint is jumping. Regardless of your liking Sushi, Thai, Chinese or Japanese dishes all of them are done well, w/o breaking the bank. . . you just got to go home and eat cuz their dining-room is closed.“
“This is our go-to place for Chinese takeout and it's always good. Tonight, though, it was GREAT. We ordered our favorites and they were all somehow even better than usual. Fish in black bean sauce, shumai, spring rolls, triple delight in hot garlic sauce, pork fried rice, moo shu pork - all delicious. Also, I needed some info on how to order gluten free a few weeks ago, and the restaurant responded to my inquiry quickly and with more care than I expected, chatting with me at some length about different dishes and how to order each. Wonderful service.“
“If you're looking for Panda Express, this spot is not for you. But if you're a fan of amazing fried rices, pepper steak, egg foo yung, cheesesteak egg rolls and etc. This spot is for you! I had the shrimp yat gaw mein ( some places call it yak) with extra boiled egg. Belly filling delish. Yes, I ate it right out of the container. LOL. The noodles were cooked perfect and the gravy, savoryyyyy. I also had the shrimp egg rolls. Yes, it had more than 1 shrimp in it. ;) crispy, hot and tasty. I'm not gone lie, some of the best food is from spots with plexiglass pay windows.“
“The food was really fresh and delicious. The ambiance was lovely. They were very friendly and welcoming too! I wish I could give them 6 stars. Exceptional service for a cute little spot. Get some of the calamari, best in the area! And the prices were great.“
“I live like 3 houses away from this super affordable, amazing food and hefty portions . food is the best Chinese I have ever had. Every time I go to get food from here it is absolutely phenomenal. 11/10 please treat yourself to some of the general tso's spicy chicken and some pork fried rice if you are passing by this gem. The people inside treat you like family and make you really feel like they care. This is my favorite place go get food in all of Baltimore.“
“I loved the fact that it is CLEAN AMD UP TO PAR. I LOVES THE fried chicken, their subs ARE GOOD IT CAN USE A LITTLE MORE MEAT ON THEIR SUBS.. I DO UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE HALF SUBS AND IN THIS AREA AT OTHER FAST FOOD CARRY. OUT.. STORES THEIR HALF SUBS LOOK LIKE A WHOLE SUB.. OTHER THAN THAT THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS GOOD“
“Something happened within in the last couple years because there is a noticeable improvement worthy of taking the time to review. The food, the last several times we have ordered, has been great. The food is “clean”, to me meaning not full oils or unnecessary ingredients that leave you feeling it later. It’s just good carry-out Chinese food, something lacking in the Hampden/Medfield area.Timely delivery too.“
“Food was delicious. Shrimp toast, egg rolls, wonton soup, general tso shrimp. I was a little bit irritated that they didn't follow instructions. I asked for no broccoli and it was included and the driver ignored our request that he use our back door. But overall a great experience.“
“I would give 5starts , the food was great and made pretty fast. But I've accidentally left something important yesterday and I went back today to speak with someone. But they was closed today and it's not advertised that they are closed on Sundays.“
“Oohhhh….myyyyyyy…..gaaaddddd!!! When I say I have been patronizing this carry-out for years and the food is always top-tier, please believe me!!! My favorite is their shrimp with mixed veggies, fried chicken wings, and their pork fried rice! This is definitely authentic Chinese cuisine at its finest, and this carry-out is a rare find! Here’s a photo of not only how good and fresh their food is, but it tastes better than it looks!!“
“The only Chinese restaurant in the DMV and Baltimore areas that understands what Gluten really is. If you have gluten sensitivity and love Americanized Chinese food, definitely worth the trip even if you have to drive up from NoVA. They're not going to be absolutely perfect for those suffering from celiac, but for a place as small as this trying so hard to accommodate those with gluten sensitivity with so many choices is worthy of as many stars as anyone could give them.Dietary restrictions: Most extensive Gluten-Free menu for any Chinese restaurant in the DMV“
“The Yat ga mei is TERRIBLE! Other than that nice ppl, nice other food. But Yat Ga Mei is a Baltimore thing, I can’t believe there’s still places in the city that can’t get it right. I’d pay extra for the other food if I could get a refund for the Yat! Lol but dead serious. God Bless!Vegetarian options: Plenty and good“
“Good Day is very interesting. They don't open till 5:00pm in a neighborhood that is challenging., so the daylight window is slim. The menu is also very limited, meaning that what they make is good, but vegetables are out of the question.Inter-city Chinese restaurants are often good food and serve the underserved in food deserts.I liked the fried rice, but wish that I could have ordered broccoli or another healthy option.“
“Always see people say they don't like... The food atmosphere even the people that work there. But I always see the same people. The regulars of course. I've never seen an empty plateThe only time that food is undercooked ,there. Is asif you've asked for it to be a specific way. It's times I asked for the food to be fried hard and I have to get back to work. soI'll say okay pull it out. So again that's up to you the person ordering it again I do not compliment bad service I do not compliment bad food, I do not compliment, anything that DOESN'T need complimenting.ALSO,I wouldn't waste ANYONE'S TIME OR MINE!! PUTTING DOWN, a RESTAURANT. THAT I SPEND JUST AS MORE TIME IN.. THAT I spend in my OWN KITCHEN.. YOUNG'S!! ❤️❤️ PLEASE KEEP UP the good work!!?ure CUSTOMERS.TRULY LEAVE FEELINGlike FAMILY, That'sfor a GOOD REASON.CAUSE.WE ARE FAMILY.THE FEELINGS , obviously are VERY MUTUAL.??JUST PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT'S IN A PICTURE TO THE PICTURES AND IT'LL EXPLAIN, IT ALL.. SOME PEOPLE JUST LEAVE BAD POST,BECAUSE THEY CAN..DOES TAKE AN EXTRA SECOND, U'LL DECIPHER,TRUTH FROM FICTION.“
“Great sushi and great Chinese also at reasonable prices! I've been getting sushi at Sakura for a while but tonight we also got General Tso's and it was really good and the portion was huge! I dont think Sakura gets the street cred in Annapolis that it deserves- Its a cozy spot with great food and great views of downtown! Now I can't wait for our leftovers tomorrow!“
“When I started going to Ding Ho the food was really good. But since then the quality of the food has been lacking. Especially the egg rolls the shrimp do not exist, however every once in a while everyone has an off day. I'll always give them a try.“
