“We had an amazing dining experience recently when 3 of us decided to eat at a restaurant outside of the hotel where we were staying. I am so glad we chose Longhorn. Otherwise, we would have missed out on experiencing the service that Shaun provided. Even though he serviced several other tables, he still extended the same amount of attention and care to each of us. His level of customer services was more than just “excellent.” It was “superb.” He made us feel like we were valued and he didn’t miss an opportunity to check to see if we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. If I were hiring, Shaun would be my first selection and he would be used as that model employee to train others on what is expected of them as a representative of the company and what we want our customers to experience. “We have enjoyed Mission BBQ over the years and we decided to have Mission cater our wedding. We were surprised with the extent of services they offered! Not only did they provide the BBQ with sides but we also got appetizers (Cocktail Shrimp and Caprese Skewers), cake cutting service, and excellent cleanup of the buffet area. We even got a card from the staff and a phone call thanking us for choosing them and wishing us well. We want to shout-out Kathryn Donn for her exceptional work in helping us with this catering experience. She went above and beyond in preparing for this event with excellent customer service. Ordered two Halal Beef Brisket sandwich combos with french fries and a canned soft drink each, a Halal Bacon and Brisket combo sandwich with curly fries and can of coke, Mozzarella cheese sticks combo and a chicken tender serving. Overall the family enjoyed the food, my beef bacon was over cooked and the strips of beef brisket were thin slivers of meat with a barely discernable flavor coated with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. First impression was so-so, for me. Seating was barely adequate with people standing over your head to order. It was night time and rainy sonif they have outdoor seating, it was not part of the equation tonight. I will definitely visit again as I like to support small upcoming businesses and I like the concept of contemporary American food for those who prefer to eat Halal.“

“I got a 24 piece smoked wings split into 12 Lemon pepper flavored and 12 Jamaican Jerk flavored. The chicken was smoky, tender and juicy. The rub flavors aren't particularly strong more like lightly strokes your tongue instead of a punch of flavor in the mouth. The chicken maintains well as leftovers for lunch the next day.“

“This is one of the best place to buy Chicken from, Me and my sister comes here all the time. My first time here I brought the chicken wing lunch special and never made it out the parking lot with it. When we have parties instead of cooking chicken most of the time we get up early Saturday morning to come to the market to buy 100 or more piece for the party and we buy some to eat on the way home. “Very welcoming place. Unpretentious. Drinks were delish. Espresso martini! We love seeing people of varied cultures, just hanging and talking with each other. I was reluctant to get the ribs because I read a review saying they were dry. Mine were delicious. It wasn’t a saucy rib, and that’s how I like it. I’m sure you could ask for sauce. Husband had steak and rice. The staff is very accommodating. The onion rings were great. Wish I had some left! Plenty of TV’s to see a game in the bar area. There is also a dining room area away from the tv/bar area. Comparing this experience to a Navy Yard sports bar yesterday, we enjoyed today’s Bare Bones meal over yesterday’s DC sports bar hands down. Our server was great. Friendly, quick and respectful. It was like going to your friend’s house for a meal. We’ll be back…Definitely to watch some football this season. I’ll have to try something else next time to see if their other dishes fare as well.“

I had a errand to run in this area and I drop by here for lunch. I had 3 drumsticks and fries. It was pretty good. Chicken was crispy. Fries is not really for me but it was still good.

I think I will get just the chicken to share but not sure as a entre. If I crave fried chicken in this area, i might come here.“

“This was my second time eating here. The last time was years ago, and they didn't include lettuce with the BBQ, which was one of the reasons I started going elsewhere. However, my sister chose this restaurant for her birthday, so we gave it another try.
I'm happy to say they now include lettuce! The banchan was decent, the kimchi was delicious, and the BBQ was excellent. We ordered the second combo with the samgyeopsal and marinated beef. My brother-in-law did the grilling (as usual!), and I ordered the large naengmyeon (cold noodles in a delicious icy broth). I ate until I felt like I was going to explode!
The only downsides were that the space felt a bit cramped, and the prices were slightly higher than the other Korean restaurant we usually visit on Bethany Lane. Nevertheless, the most important thing is that the food tasted authentically Korean. 😋 The waitress was also very attentive, which made the experience even better.“
