“I went by to the location in PG plaza Mall in Hyattsville when I first entered the establishment I waited a second since there was one person that was serving another customer, I was than greeted and asked what I would like. I ordered a lamb bowl and a chicken shawarma, paid for l my order then went home. When I had my bowl it was just like I ordered but when I saw the dismay of my fiancés face something appeared to be wrong. I looked at the wrap it appeared to be prepared sloppy , falling apart and runny from juices of the ingredients. He said he didn’t want it and I returned to the place to try to get a refund. To make the story short the manger of the store wasn’t of any help but staff did suggest me getting another sandwich. I reluctantly agreed despite my fiancé not wanting a sandwich because of presentation. The person who made my sandwich spoke in her native tounge with another staff and was nonchalant about the situation but Christain was eager to make things right.“

“This was my first time eating at this establishment, I was recommended by my grown children to try it; I'm glad that I did. We went in person to order and pick up the food. The staff was very helpful, respectful and nice, the establishment is clean and you can see how they prepare their/your food. I ordered their steak and cheese with wedge fries, it was so yummy. Very nice environment and they care about their patrons. I'm definitely going to eat from there soon. Landover 's best kept secret.“

“At first we were a little surprised to be eating in a Days Inn -- and Al-Madani is unassuming atmospherically. However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. I feel like this is a hidden gem and hope many more people find them and that they get lots of business!“

“Me and all my friends love New York grill. It is a weekly/bi-weekly meal for me. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!! Especially the rice platters. The servings are plentiful and soo tasty!!
I come here repeatedly because the pricing, quality, serving size and staff are exceptional.
Also the carrot cake is heaven.

“Ate this stuff religiously when I went to school in Pittsburgh and it was one of the biggest things I missed once I moved back to Maryland, only to find out that they had built a location here. Definitely as good as their Pittsburgh location, and a great Halal spot.“

“Approaching the place, it is super bright, which helps finding it as the restaurant is set back from the buildings around it. This also gave us a sense of safety walking in.
There was someone at the counter ready to assist us, but being our first time in, we opted for a kiosk, off to the right side, with a big and equally bright screen, displaying images of every dish. This was very helpful and made the ordering easy and quick, even for us newbies to the place.
We opted to take out. Already, in the car, the aroma of delicious food filled the air. Once at our place, we started opening the containers and wrappers, even the packaging was excellent, inside the plastic bag, a heavy-duty paper back, stapled to containers to prevent shifting and spilling during transport.
The food was utterly delicious, from simple salad, tzatziki sauce (some of the best I have tried anywhere), chickpeas, seasoned fries, shawarmas and kabob.
It would be 2 thumbs up but both my hands were busy.“

“Me and my friend both went there yesterday and I already knew that the food was going to be fire, because you can never go wrong with a local mom and pop type of restaurant. But even then, the food was better than I expected. The owners were very nice and you could tell that they are passionate about what they do and they don’t skip steps. Definitely recommend going here for the food and good vibes.“

Owner is super friendly and provides his availability on Instagram on a daily basis. Food is super yummy and I wish I could stop by more often. “Loved eating here. The restaurant smelled faintly of incense, which was a welcome ambiance. Tables are layed out well so it doesn't feel cramped. The space is nice and bright with beautiful decor. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious! Loved every single thing I ordered:

Sheer chai — this tea had a nice balance of milk and sugar

Mantoo classic — these beef dumplings were full of flavor and served at the right temperature, hot but not too much to burn your mouth

Lamb shank — the sauce was packed with flavor and the meat fell off the bones. It came with rice that was a lovely buttery complement to the lamb

Sheer berenj — had this for dessert and it was very refreshing. It's not milky and the pistachios on top added a nice nutty flavor to the rice pudding

Green tea with cardamom — nice way to end dinner“

“Absolutely the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I have been eating at Roaming Rooster at their other locations for the past few years, this was my first time at this location and it is by far our favorite. We came in New Year's Eve with a party of 8 around 1 PM. We were able to order and find seats immediately. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The woman running the front was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The facility was very clean and well put together. The only issue we had was that there was no soap in the bathroom. I highly recommend and will return.“
