“At first we were a little surprised to be eating in a Days Inn -- and Al-Madani is unassuming atmospherically. However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. “I love everything that Omar’s have to offer! I usually order online to pick up and it’s always ready on time or earlier. The platters are filled with delicious flavors. My favorite is the lamb platter and add chickpeas or corn. Pickled turnip is also great. Omar signature sauce + white sauce combo is so good I can take a bath in it!!! (JKJK) The employees are always helpful, working hard to get that fresh food out. This is our weekly dinner spot and I am lucky that they are right down the street from my house!“

“During my weekend stay in Washington DC I was able to visit the New York Grill twice.

Both times the food was IMMACULATE! I highly recommend the Lamb Gyro, and the fries were very good too!

Even with roughly a 20 Minute walk back to my hotel, the food comes out hot, and well wrapped, allowing the heat to stay within and keep your food warm for quite a while!

Overall, this was my favorite place we ate over the course of 3 days, out of about a dozen spots.

I DEFINITELY Recommend the New York Grill! Please patronize this great establishment, hell go 3 times a day if your budget allows!

The nashville chicken sandwhich is my favorite thing here but if you want something healthy I recommend the chicken over rice. 10/10 reccomend spot to check out especially if you’re hungry late at night!“

“We stopped by SHAHS HALAL in Laurel and everything was amazing! We had the fish gyro and the falafel gyro with fries — all of it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The owner was so kind and even gave me a portion of lamb with tzatziki sauce and cilantro, which was absolutely delicious! You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. “It's about time I gave you guys credit! I love coming here for a late lunch after class. Delicious food, great value, always fresh, and the portions are generous. It's one of the top food places in Silver Spring without a doubt. I love this style of food, it's so good. It used to be hard to find this type of halal food in the area before they opened. If you want some classic New York style cart food they got it. 100000/10 now I'm craving it, lol. ALSO they serve you fast which is a bonus when you're really hungry“

“Good grief. These were without a question the best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. My only regret is I only ordered 2 just to try them. started eating on my way home. I wish I ordered 5 more. Definitely go there and definitely get a few barbacoa tacos. Also the people running it were nice! I rarely ever leave reviews but these were that good.“

“They have a very unique specialty pizza with gyro meat that is amazing and unlike any other I have found. So yum. Also, when I had one bad delivery experience after usually good service, they went out of their way to make it up to me on the next order. “After traveling from Texas and being tired and hungry we found this place on Google. The overall experience was absolutely amazing. The owner was wonderful and very helpful, he went out of his way to help us with the menu.

Our food was so full of flavor and authentic. Our taste buds were dancing with joy. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy our food with high expectations and not be disappointed. With young kids who can be picky, they loved their food and asked to good back again.

The food was packaged wonderfully once we return to our hotel the food and everything was in place and fresh. This is a virtual kitchen so there is no seating area but your food is prepared for take away and it was not all over the place. They really take their time to make sure your food is prepared and package well for your enjoyment.
