“The Peking Duck is perfect in every ways. Comparing to the legendary Peking Gourmet in VA. I like the Peking Duck here much better. The duck skin is crisp and the wrap is so thin and hot. The duck soup with goji berry, cappage, and tofu comes with the order. Other foods are so enjoyable as well. I can’t take any photos because I was stunned by the Peking Duck. 😁“

“The noodle soup was so flavorful and was perfect! I had the signature dish Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with thin noodles. The noodles are hand pulled and made fresh every day and you can tell by the excellent texture and flavor! My new favorite restaurant! Also we were honored by four songs excellently played on the baby grand piano. Thank you for a delightful dinner, perfect service, and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend Chopin Noodle House and look forward to trying more dishes on the menu. ❤“

Both times service was quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is simple, almost cafeteria-like, but the staff is kind and accomodating....and the soups are delicious! “It's been about 3 months since I first went to Beyond Ramen & Kabob, and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a small restaurant with several booths and some open tables, but it's filled with personality. The food was incredible - every single entree, every appetizer, every drink we tried was perfect. Hot, fresh, and made to order for the kabobs. The staff was super helpful and thoughtful, and I noticed them keeping an eye on all the customers from afar to make sure glasses were filled, food was served quickly, and everyone was happy. It made me feel like an honored guest. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options here, including a vegan ramen and many different vegan kabobs. They were very quick to accommodate our dietary restrictions and very thoughtful and cautious when it came to checking ingredients - very much appreciated. Will be back soon, and hopefully many more times.“

“We visited this evening. Food was fantastic! I really enjoyed the soup dumplings! The staff was super courteous. I had brought in dessert (a cake) from outside and they were super nice about it. They even offered to refrigerate it for us! After dinner, they brought us fresh plates, forks and a knife. Despite being very busy they also don't rush you too much.“

“Order via phone. Customer service was the best thing about it. Was over charged per their menu of about $3 more. Online it stated they would charge 3 more of lo mein substitute instead of rice, so that was another $3 over the menu price. Food was standard tasting nothing special. Order was off too. Ordered cheese wonton and got something with meat in it. Ordered plain fried rice and got chicken fried rice with little flavoring. The general tso was mostly breading and sauce, and the broccoli wasn't cooked to softness. Will not go back.“

“Tried them for the first time today and am sold. Best Chinese food my wife and I have tasted in ages, and we lived in NYC for 4 years. Singapore mei fun - excellent. Happy family - excellent. Combination fried rice - excellent. Shrimp egg rolls - best I've ever tasted, anywhere. Steamed dumplings - very good, but the wrapping was a bit thick and the sauce was a bit scanty. We look forward to trying many, many more selections. Great job!“

“Best steamed dumplings and wonton soup/egg drop wonton soup around. Dumplings are made in house and are full of meat. The wonton in the soup are full of meat too with a great broth. I haven’t been disappointed with anything there but those soup and dumplings are my go to dinner and it hits the spot every time.“

“I've been coming here for about three years, and I can honestly say this has been one of the most consistent and reliable restaurants in the area. The food is always delicious, the portions are great, and our orders are always correct.

My personal favorites are the pork fried rice and the crab rangoons, both are amazing. My kids love the lo mein. No matter what we order, the quality is always top-notch.

As my family prepares to move away from the area, I wanted to take a moment to thank the staff for all the great meals and excellent service over the years. “I ordered beef hofun and personally found the taste quite good. However, what I really like is their hofun. I've tried hofun at many places, and this restaurant's hifun are not sticky. The flavor is mild for me, but I think it's a bit strong. After all, everyone has different taste preferences. Overall, I think it's pretty good.“

“I used to never see anyone going in there and one day I decided to try it and oh my goodness the food is absolutely delicious and even though I've never seen anybody go in there they STAY BUSY and you get your food in a timely manner. I give it a five-star atmosphere because once entered and you see the people in there the customers everyone is just so nice and patiently waiting even striking up conversations with each other except for one of my neighbors she called and gave them a hard way to go because she was charged for extra shrimp 🦐 as if she didn't know yes there is a cost for extras. There's only two people that work in there the lady and I guess it may be her husband and they work very hard preparing orders. I'm sold on this business.“

“I’ll be honest, I was both excited and skeptical about trying Wonder when it first opened. The whole concept seemed a little strange to me, and I wasn’t sure how it would actually work. Since they were offering 50% off for first time customers when I went, I figured it was worth a try.

We ordered a pizza from Alanza, a double cheeseburger from Burger Baby, and a Build Your Own Bowl from El Diez. Funny enough, the burger, which was the item I was least excited about based on how it looked, ended up being my favorite. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

If you’ve been curious about Wonder and are looking to try something different, I’d say it’s worth checking out, especially while they’re offering 50% off for new customers. There’s a huge variety of food options, so it’s easy for everyone in your group to find something they’ll enjoy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and left more impressed than I expected to be.“

I’ve had chicken in all its variants from all over Howard County and I find that their chicken is fantastically savory with a light, airy crispiness that gives off a similar sensation as biting into a kettle chip.
