“I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life, making and serving food (including burgers and fries). I just stopped by Joia last night, for the first time. I ordered a double patty. I have to say that it might have been the best burger I’ve ever tried. Nothing too fancy, just the perfect size and balance of ingredients. I didn’t intend to get any fries, but after ordering my burger, I asked the employee who was serving me if I could try one. It was so good, that I instantly asked to order some, only to find out that they had gone ahead and generously thrown in a batch on the house for me. I literally have never written a review in my life (google, yelp, otherwise) but I was so into it I thought I should share. Super friendly, low key atmosphere, fast, and delicious. “Nick’s Pizza is the answer to authentic homemade pizza when you can’t make your own! It’s the freshest ingredients and the perfect crust - not too thick or thin. “About a mile from the convention center walking, didn’t realize it was inside the WF. There’s seating available going up a few stairs after ordering/picking up. Ordered a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries - they were good but I may have over done it today. I got crazy and got BBQ sauce, tasty with a tad of spice. I enjoyed my meal and service was friendly. I’d maybe come back but not a fan of it being inside of WF.“

“ Big Buns in Arlington, VA is where it's at! The place has this cool vibe going on – you walk in, and you just know you're in for a good time. The food? Man, they've got all kinds of stuff on the menu. Burgers that'll make your mouth water, and they even have this insane Unicorn shake for dessert – it's like something out of a dream. And don't even get me started on the drinks. They've got some seriously killer cocktails that'll knock your socks off. Oh, and did I mention the location? It's smack dab in the middle of Arlington, so it's super easy to get to. And the service? A+. The staff is friendly, and fast. “This place is great. Ordering process on the device is simple and easy. The milkshakes are super high quality. They’re very thick. I’ve tried the Oreo funnel cake one and also the final chocolate one. I’ve tried the smoky classic BBQ burger and the smoke shack. Both were great. “Visiting DC from the UK. We all really liked the burger, agree with other comments it is a greasy affair but then again nobody’s coming here to prepare for a bikini competition. I respect the menu concept, do one thing, do it well. No options. I guess if you don’t want coke or water you don’t need to buy one. Servers were excellent and price wise, you aren’t getting much better for this area. My only issue was the space, it’s quite stark and basic. I think you can go ultra basic on the menu, but such a basic setting might be a step too far and it doesn’t need to be, because they have a great crew that could hold down a more personal atmosphere.“

“My son and I visited the Washington DC HRC last week. I just want to say that Angela and Christian reminded me of why I started going to HRC in the first place. They were great and we had a great time. For reasons I don't understand, the service at HRCs has been in decline for the past decade or so. But Angela and Christian were just like the HRC employees I would interact with pre-2012 or so. They made us feel like people instead of a check. And if anyone from HRC corporate actually bothers to read this...you should ask Angela and Christian in Washington DC how HRC should train its employees and interact with its customers. So, to Angela and Christian...thank you again.

“Okay, one gripe: I asked for a burger with ketchup, and never mentioned pickles. When I got the burger, it had pickles and no ketchup. Not a big deal, I took the pickles off and put some ketchup on it. It was a great burger, as usual. They just need to pay a little more attention. I still put a couple bucks in the tip jar because people have kids to feed.

That being said, great burger, great fries (and still a generous portion), and lots of Diet Coke.

Also a plus: terrific music on the speakers! I had Shazam open during the meal, and grabbed seven good songs that I'd never heard before. Yes!“
