“We had an excellent experience at LongHorn Steakhouse in Columbia, MD, especially given that we came in with a large party of 16. The staff was able to accommodate us without issue, which we truly appreciated.

Our waitress did an outstanding job—she kept all of the orders organized and accurate despite the size of our group, checked on us consistently, and made sure refills were provided without us having to ask. The food came out promptly and hot, and everything was exactly as ordered.

Otherwise, we would have missed out on experiencing the service that Shaun provided. Even though he serviced several other tables, he still extended the same amount of attention and care to each of us. His level of customer services was more than just “excellent.” It was “superb.” He made us feel like we were valued and he didn’t miss an opportunity to check to see if we had everything we needed and we were enjoying our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. If I were hiring, Shaun would be my first selection and he would be used as that model employee to train others on what is expected of them as a representative of the company and what we want our customers to experience. The ambience and decor, as well as the noise level, allowed for conversation that floated easily and permitted me to make a short speech in honor of my wife. “We ordered medium-well steaks because we wanted well-done and figured they would screw it up. Sure enough, out come two well-done steaks with a substantial char. Delicious, but very telling!

I think I like the New York Strip most, then sirloin or filet mignon. Porterhouse was cooked very unevenly on our second visit. The Delmonico was surprisingly fatty and unimpressive. Queensland pasta was okay, but not worth getting again.

Not very good/spicy chicken wings, okay potato soup, pretty good mac & cheese and mozzarella boomerangs, good loaded fries and broccoli, very good chili and bloomin' onion, and great mashed potatoes.

Desserts: the chocolate thunder from down under was okay, the choco tower for two was pretty good, and the salted caramel cookie skillet was awesome.“
