“Was in the area and just dropped by to check it out Ko's Kitchen. Was greeted with a friendly smile by the owner (I believe) and restaurant was nice and had plenty of tables for eating. I was hungry so I ordered the Loco MoCo platter with a fruit smoothie. Good flavorful dish for putting some meat on your bones! Nice local small family business to support.“

“At first we were a little surprised to be eating in a Days Inn -- and Al-Madani is unassuming atmospherically. However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. We got there on a Saturday morning and ran into a pretty decent line, but the staff were super friendly and it moved along quickly. “Go To Burgers has been on my list to try for a while, and we finally got the chance to yesterday.

Burgers were delicious. Everything was freshly made and came out nice and hot. The fries were good (and I don’t like crinkle cut fries most of the time). The lamb burger was really tasty and I recommend trying it if you’ve never had one.

“This is hands down the best cafe in the DC area. They take coffee making down to a science and do it with attitude. The ambiance is great.

It’s a big bike (bicycle) hang out spot over the weekends, lots of folks riding on the Rhode Island Ave Trolley trail divert here.

Their food options are very light but they do have decent pastries and bagels with cream cheese.

But all that other stuff aside, if you are a coffee enthusiast, you MUST check this place out. It raises the standard for coffee in the greater dc area.“

“Basic steakhouse. Nice dinners at a moderate price. They cook the steak as you ask, and no deficiencies here, and plenty of healthy choices on the menu. Great specials if you are sticking to your budget and the bar at this one is a good place to watch a game. It's not the Palm but then it isn't trying to be and it's more budget friendly. “After moving from Florida I have been tirelessly searching for a good taco place in Maryland. I was so happy to find Tacos A La Madre! When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.“

“My significant other and myself came to try the well known Hungry Bowl to see what all the hype was about. I was very surprised that the customer service was very good. Our love server Kailyn was warm and welcoming. She didn’t miss a beat when going through the rule and the proper way to order. The food on the other hand was just okay but that’s my opinion. If my return was based on my service alone I would be back however the food was not as good as predicted.“

“Last night Arundel High Cheer had their banquet there and I was amazed at how well James and the waitstaff catered to all our needs. We had a group of estimated 60 ppl and they went above and beyond. The food was served in a timely manner, portions were good and the taste was amazing as well. “The first time I came here with friends I got the Old Bay fries and stayed for about an hour. The fries were good, but it didnt seem like they tossed them in the seasoning, just dumped it on, so it was concentrated in some spots and lacking in others. The second time I came, it was after 10:30, and I was turned away at the door because they start checking IDs at that time. Apparently they won't give people Xs or stamp their hands, they just don't let you come in if you're under 21. Not appreciated, and I hope they consider adjusting that policy as a respectable establishment on the block.“

“Good Hot Food, Prefer Cash, Hard to park but can across the street. Suggest visiting during day light. Extra charge for any additional condiments but they give you a heafty amount. Not an Eat in establishment but can sit in windowsill comfortably. My only go to Chinese Spot when tempted“

I’ve tried the Oreo funnel cake one and also the final chocolate one. I’ve tried the smoky classic BBQ burger and the smoke shack. Both were great. “I just stopped by to pick up an online order while on a walk with my new 6 month old puppy.
She's kinda nervous and doesn't like going through doors she's unfamiliar with rn so I was struggling to bring her inside.
I wanted to leave this review to specifically thank the manager (I think his name is Tyler? Tall guy, big beard usually wears the red grumps shirt) who saw that I was struggling and came over to the door, got my name and brought me my order outside. He was so kind and said hi to my dog, pet her and we talked about how he had a few dogs of his own.

Just wanted to shout out what a kind gesture this was and I really appreciated it. Don't know what this guy makes but he should get a raise for sure. I always see him when I'm there taking care of everything and everyone, customers and fellow coworkers alike.“

A short time later they sent me a second message that they would be getting a couple bushels later in the afternoon and asked if I would still like to place an order. “One of the BEST coffees you can get in the DMV! Seriously, espresso was dialed in perfectly and milk was steamed exactly as it should be. I enjoyed the roast & flavor profile of the espresso beans. Service was quick. Inside was super super pretty with plants and abundant seating, but it may be too popular of a spot (I like quieter spots to relax lol.)

“Store layout is great! Would be a really good hangout place if no covid to worry about. Their "cold signature milk tea" is the HK style tea and different than the other bubble tea you had. Highly recommend the "curry fish ball" and their egg waffle (we had the classic style). Will definitely visit again!“
