“Great food! The only complaint I have is the laptop policy which prevents this from being a place to get work done especially over the weekend. However that’s subjective and I can understand some of the reasoning. The food is outstanding“

“The 12-course prix-fixe made for a memorable special occasion meal. At $135 pp, quite a splurge, but can imagine the 6-course version is also quite satisfying. Each dish was presented in an interesting way -- with coins and currency, art by Colombian painter Botero, on stones and cactus slices, paper, etc. Even the check returned inside a book. Each was so tasty we couldn't pick a favorite. Staff was intimate and friendly, explaining every dish, without being intrusive. Aficionados might appreciate the extensive and varied wine list (also not cheap), though we were no experts. Also close to Metro (8-min. walk), which we always appreciate. “Very cute and clean out of the way Salvadoran restaurant. Worth a stop if you’re in the area! Had a great weekend lunch, tried the papusas (get the revueltas!) and tacos, as well as a couple different margaritas. Very reasonably priced and really delicious.
I’ve had papusas from several places, these are handmade and very fresh.“

“My son and I visited El Golfo Restaurant last weekend. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with reviewing the menu options. Our meals were generously sized and delicious. Live music was playing and a nice addition to the atmosphere. We would highly recommend this authentic and reasonably priced restaurant.“

“We had a wonderful experience at La Fogata Grill. I had a poblano chili stuffed with beef, raisins, almonds, pomegranate seeds and served with walnut cream sauce. Really unique and delicious. My husband had the mole enchiladas. He loved it. Service was excellent! We will definitely eat here again.“

“It's a food truck and typically you'd go and grab your food and leave. However, there were chairs out there. I would use some of those generated revenues for more tables.
The food is good, but could be better. The service wasn't the fastest but they were short staff. All in all i enjoyed my experience. If they're ever in the northern virginia area. I could see myself stopping by again!“

“I felt like some Dominican food specifically, chicharron de pollo (fried chicken) and tostones (fried plantains). The food was delicious and plentiful. It's in a strip mall and has an adjoining lounge which may double as a dance floor.“

Sizes good portions, reasonable prices, you can feed two people to beyond full with a drink for $30, it’s all freshly made in house to order and turn around pick up is never longer that 15/20mins. “Just went in to check out the food, and ended up ordering the chef's bowl (lettuce, rice, chaufa, pico, potato, guacamole and brisket. It was tasty. The brisket was tender and had some flavor. The potato could use a hint of salt, but overall, it was good. We also tried the shrimp empanadas, they were nicely fried, creamy on the inside, overall pretty good. The yuca fries were nicely fried, but had no seasoning.
They're very light with the seasoning, but I'd come back to try more of the menu.“

“Nothing like finishing a bike ride with some refueling, haha! I had two incredible pupusas (based on past experience and my own cooking) with what looks to be homemade curtido and a chicken tamale (tamal de gallina) at Pupuseria La Familiar in College Park. $7 for all this. Definitely five stars. Happy to order before the lunch rush, lol.“
