“I decided to give the store and MOST ESPECIALLY the Team 5 stars because it was during lunchtime when i walked in there. Looked like they were making online orders and only servicing a handful of people so it should have been a quick in and out but it wasn’t. But not because they were slow, because they were busy with the online orders and then within minutes the rush came in. I observed this team led by James execute orders online and in person, with professionalism. James had a customer who demanded a refunded from the day before that he wasn’t aware of and assisted her until she was satisfied. Offered her options and provided excellent customer service. Aside from the normal hustle and bustle during the lunch rush which I assume can be a challenge daily, James made sure to take care of each individual customer ensuring the team was meeting expectations. The team was friendly and polite even when I witnessed a customer being rude and disrespectful. When folks are making your food, it’s not a bad idea to be kind. People make mistakes…give grace when grace is needed and it will be contagious and repaid if not paid forward. My parents loved their subs and so did I! Thank you James and team!!!“

“I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed a McDonald’s before but this was honestly the nicest McDonald’s experience ever and the ladies who took and filled our order deserve a shout out. The lady who took our order said her name although I didn’t catch it. She just made our day. She is taking her job at McDonald’s and going above and beyond and serving up smiles and sunshine to people all day. The lady at the pick up window was just as kind. Thanks for doing a great job!“

“The quality of the food service was the highlight of my visit to National Harbor and the Capitol Wheel.

This is the kind of restaurant setup where you order at a counter that is right at the edge of the kitchen. I work in a kitchen myself and was able to quickly note that the kitchen crew really enjoyed greeting each other as the lunch shift started.

From the name and previous experiences, I expected a high calorie, high fat sandwich. However, the menu included healthy salads.

“I love the pretzels however a had a little wait to make my pretzel and it's wasn't busy . It's just a regular original pretzel, which should be a popular item. It was hot though.

“I always eat here. There’s always 3 laddies in specific that I see. Two older ladies and a young lady as there’s always two people working so it’s different shifts as I always come here often in the afternoon for my lunch break as they’re all very friendly and soft voiced. They always give me options to get from and even let me know if they have some sort of deal so that it can work out for me and my budget as I always get welcomed in nicely by them. They’re always nice to people, never have seen them talk to anyone rudely or roughly. I highly recommend this subway in specific. I love this place! ❤“

“The chicken fries were exactly what I was craving. They were crispy, nicely seasoned, and tasted great with barbecue sauce. I also got regular fries and a drink to complete the meal. Everything was packed neatly and served warm. Definitely worth getting again.“

“The subway was inside of a Sunoco gas station, I didn't purchase anything from Subway but I did leave small like a Subway sub. It smelled delicious. So my review is purely based on the smell of the bread and the subs at the subway inside of the Sunoco near National Harbor. The lady who waited on me was also very pleasant. It was clean from what I can see. Oh and I started off by using the air pump for my tires, and then I went in and paid for my gas that's when I smelled the Subway!“

“I've been going to this Subway for a few months and it's the only dining establishment I frequent because the other national/local restaurants either have very poor customer service/food, trite appearance or there's an issue paying (i.e., cash only - it's in an economically-depressed area). While small, they're just as good as any Subway I've been to (and the cookies, omfg - still fantastic). Any truly noteworthy issues are largely due to asinine customers being demanding or downright ghetto. PROS: Food quality, mostly friendly (except when certain customers flip their ghetto switch to the "on" position). Accepts cards (I know this may be odd to point but in THIS area, I have to), NFC and QR payments. I believe they also have Wi-Fi. They also have more toppings, beverages and chips than the app/website shows. CONS: Kind of small; can be hard to understand what the staff is saying; I'd REALLY prefer if those with beards wear a beard net or comparable mask. I observed one customer complaining about handling food after money - however, they complied and changed gloves, etc. ODDITY: I like getting a foot long Spicy Italian for $5.95 - but then it might go on "sale" for $6.00 as part of a national promotion. Ehhhhh??? November 2017 Update: After visiting Subway in NYC and comparing the food quality to this particular location, I'm changing my review to 5 stars. What's more, I understand the staff better (one kind of appeared mean but he's not) and they're pretty nice. Solved some minor issues I had and quality is consistent.“

Customer service was everything making sure my order was complete , even the worker who was on the radio taking order everyone’s customer service was excellent the man on the speaker helped me pick out my meal even though I go to bk a lot lol .
