“Came to Laredo after a busy day at the zoo and I am so glad I did. First of all the staff is very sweet and friendly. Secondly, the food was all very fresh and very filling! The margs were some of the best I had as well. Worth every penny and whenever I come to the area I would definitely come again.“

“We had such a great experience at Uncle Julio's in Arlington, VA! The Spicy Grilled Shrimp Street Tacos were absolutely delicious. The combination of the perfectly seasoned shrimp and the fresh toppings made every bite so flavorful. They were definitely my favorite!
My daughter shared the Taco Bar Tuesday, and she absolutely loved it. It was such a fun and interactive meal, served on a spinning tray with plenty of fresh toppings to build your own tacos. It was perfect for sharing and reasonably priced too.
One of the best parts of our visit was the atmosphere. We chose to sit outside, where we enjoyed the beautiful city views while listening to live music. It created such a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience.
The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Arlington!“

“This is go-to spot when we do not feel like cooking. Very affordable. Steak and rice bowl is 10/10. We always place a pick-up order and they are very fast. If there is something going on at the Wharf, it gets really busy and the wait can be long. Staff is very friendly.“

“Los Tios Restaurant has a Delicious, extensive menu Hawaiian Fajitas is a dish that is difficult to explain with chunks of fresh pineapple and the steak soft and juicy, the flavor is exquisite. To enjoy with family and friends. Exquisite drinks. The entire staff, including the owner, is very kind and friendly. Highly recommended.“

“Great little place. The lomo saltado was good but the black beans that come with it are fantastic. Knowing a little Spanish definitely helped when ordering but I'm sure you'd be fine without it. Everyone there (staff and other customers) were extremely nice and even helped when my Spanish failed. We will definitely add this to our list of places to come back to.“

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. Definitely recommend this place for its casual atmosphere and good food. Even if you don’t like Mexican!“

“As a tourist I wanted some good food. Many places have a bunch of wall decor and fantasy front, but this place is for people that want good food and nice people. The chips were made once we ordered. Food was the best we had on our trip. Highly recommend stopping here if your looking for just good food.“

“We jokingly say Tippys has the best mediocre tacos, but legit we eat here multiple times a month and absolutely love it!
My husband is from the area and the owners literally watched him and his friends grow up, and every time we come in he asks us about our family and how we’re doing - it’s just so wonderful! Very rare to have such connections these days and that’s part of the charm!
The kitchen is immaculate too! I was a restaurant manager and have seen some things but you can clearly see that they are well above standards!
You truly cannot beat the service, the price is spot on, and it’s just a neighborhood staple. In a world of curbside and delivery, Tippys is just this nice place where you can see a friend and eat good food.

“Music was blaringly loud and it was difficult to converse with my friends, however that doesnt hold a candle to everything that this restaurant does right. The food was absolutely phenomenal and everyone in my party was extremely happy with their meal. The portions are very reasonable, and the prices are too. I didnt think you could get such inexpensive prices around this area, and for the quantity and quality of the food, I cannot recommend this place enough. Easy 5 stars, I will be returning, with more people.“
