“Visited a friend up here & we went to this bar. It's def a hole in the wall, but a cool little joint! Bartender was super friendly & the drinks are cheap. Plenty of parking too. They have darts & pool tables if that's your jam. This is our new hang out when we come back to visit!”

“I’ve been vegan 7 years and after trying this once, it’s now in the top 3 of vegan restaurants I’ve tried worldwide. The food was fresh, came out quick and tasted incredible. Staff was also super friendly and helpful in picking out options. The nachos could easily feed four people so it went a long way for just my boyfriend and I. He’s not vegan but absolutely loved it. We got the buffalo burger and dark horse burger. So sooooo good. Topped it off with oat milk ice cream soft serve. Was exactly what we needed after walking over 5 miles in Harpers Ferry. What an amazing gem - cannot wait to go back!!!”

“This place is amazing: friendly, fast service, low prices, and HUGE portions! The ice cream is delicious and they have a really good selection of flavors. My daughter tried black cherry ice cream for the first time and raved about it so much that she begged us to drive the 90+ miles to visit again. It's honestly so good that I think the drive is worth it, too! It was a highlight of our weekend trip.”

“What crab cake? It is more like a generous portion of seasoned lump crab, no breading to be found, and it is incredible. (We skipped the sandwich fixins too since we were ordering so much food) The soup! Most spots either do a creamy style or a tomato style - they do both so well, and they sell a half and half mix which I highly recommend. It was so decadent and warming after a chilly hike on part of the AT nearby. The crab dip was amazing, and the texture of the chips they serve it with is out of this world. The hush puppies are a must too imo. Cannot wait to return to this little gem. Makenzie gave us recommendations and took our order at the register, brought our food and anything else we needed, bussed the tables, swept the floors! Its rare to see someone run the front of the house on their own like that, it was cool to sit and eat in Makenzie’s hospitality :) 10/10”

“Simplicity at its finest. The raging bull is my favorite milk shake. It’s got a nice strong shot of espresso in it.The BLT is dynamite. As is the chicken salad. They have a chili that they don’t make in house. But, from what I understand, it is locally sourced and really good. I highly recommend stopping in for lunch some time!”

“This is a cute little place with great customer service and even better food. Never had a Ruben and it has set the bar very high for any one I have after. I am a bit of a cinnamon roll snob and I will say that the owners take was made with a unique batter that keeps the rolls moist. The typical frosting was made with a caramel sauce that did not harden, leaving a nice ooey gooey (that’s the name ?) sweet layer on top that melts into the roll. I look forward to making the trip again!”

“We had a wonderful experience today during lunch service. I took 3 of my kids out and was honestly nervous about how it would go. However, our server was SO sweet, and very kind and attentive to my kiddos. It was super busy with 2 very large parties, but no one kept us waiting. The food was delicious, and at my request, the owner excitedly brought paper and crayons for the kids to color when they were becoming anxious. I feel that the changes coming with the new ownership are exciting and the food was still excellent, just as it always has been. Thank you! See you again soon!”

“Surprisingly delicious! It's one guy so you do have to wait a few minutes but not too long and well worth it! My kiddo got the chocolate chip waffle and I got the full breakfast combo with 2eggs, hash brown, bacon, sausage, and a waffle. I couldn't believe I ate the whole thing! It was delicious on a cold mountain morning. We also got coffee. All the condiments were available for self service. We'll be back there!Features: It's essentially a food 'truck'. The scones were just a bit over baked and the tea sandwiches would have benefitted from a few veggies or fruit slices or something more inventive along with the cream cheese and herbs. The decor is playful and nostalgic. Nice reuse of an old church building that we are told had gone into severe decline. I'd go back for lunch.Parking: We drove around trying to figure out if the restaurant had its own parking lot but it doesn't. Street parking is cheap compared to DC (50 cents an hour) but the parking kiosk ate two of my quarters!”

“I ALWAYS order my Thanksgiving pies here. Every item is homemade and absolutely delicious! Never a complaint when those pies come out for dessert. Even order xtras as GIFTS> prices are so reasonable... fresh and loaded with fillings and flavor.... ordering mine today...( only wish they stayed open longer at the end of the day for pick up... but I am happy to leave work early for these!!) Signed a fan for many years!”

“This was my first time visiting this vineyard, and I cannot wait to return! It's such a beautiful drive out to the property, particularly now that it's autumn. I was actually there to attend a private event, but I loved the tasting room. The wine was amazing! I had the Sauv Blanc and Russian Kiss and I love them! If you haven't been to this vineyard it's definitely a must! I'm so lucky that I live in a nearby town because, I'll be coming back soon!”
