“The best part about my stop here was not only was my sandwhich great but the customer service was exceptional. I ran in about 10 min before they were closing (they had already started wrapping & putting things away) which I totally get, it’s a slow area around this time. But they didn’t even blink an eye to take my order, unwrap things & we’re so nice about it. They truly went above & beyond & I was so greatful because I was starving & not much was open in the area. Luv awesome customer service, will definitely be back!“

We decided to watch the commanders vs the ravens here and I tried the bang bang shrimp bowl which was wonderfully tangy and balanced with the pickled veggies, green mix, and rice. This is a welcome addition to cross street market! I also love that they have easy ordering kiosks so you can wait in the seating area and get a text when your order is ready.“

“Excellent sandiwiches at a great price. At luch this place can be slammed but the staff is very efficient in taking orders and keeping people moving. They have a dinning area which is perfectly fine but I usually get mine to go.
Highly recomend you stop by.

Parking: Street parking mostly although within a short walk there are free surface lots that you can park in.“

“Breakfast at Sunny's is the bomb, but only if I've got some cash on hand, since credit cards are a no-go. This place has been around longer than I have - okay, almost - and I'm turning 52 in just a week. I enjoyed conversing and meeting mom's daughter and granddaughter. She has a well-established business and consistently provides exceptionally great service and good food. If you ever find yourself near Johns Hopkins (East Baltimore), take my advice and check them out before 1:30pm. You won't be disappointed, I guarantee it! 😉“

“I live in Indiana and was tasked with ordering food for the reception after my dad's memorial service at Charlestown in Catonsville, MD. We were going to have someone pick up sandwiches from Costco but it would mean they would not be able to attend the service. I called some other places but received poor customer service. I remembered how much my dad liked Subway. My siblings took him there often. So, I called what I thought was the Subway next to the Giant by Charlestown but apparently I called a different franchise down the road and I'm thankful. I talked to a lovely woman who said she would have the owner contact me ASAP which he did! Peter (P.J.) was patient with me and helpful from beginning to end. He delivered exactly what was ordered and on time. P.J. responded to my texts and answered my questions promptly and provided the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. He really took a load off my shoulders and I am grateful to him. I highly recommend you support his franchise!!!“

“I give 5 stars, only because the guy Samuel prepares the Subways very good, professionally, and fast. What you ask he does greatly.Unfortunately the older small guy in that location is not good and rude. Once he didn’t want to get Italian bread with herbs, he said they didn’t have it but when I decided to leave he found one and he always puts just few vegetables if you ask to put more onions he refuses and tells you that they only have those not more. This location is very close to me when I come and see that guy is working I usually don’t order and go to another location located 3 miles from there.“

“This is now the *only* Subway I go to. Frankly, I never went to Subway until I discovered this place. The ingredients here seem exceptionally fresh & I am never shortchanged on them. I kno older reviews have a lot of complaints about not getting all the ingredients, etc.- but that must have been under a previous management. It's why I always sort reviews by most recent first.I always have particular tastes w/my orders & there is one employee at this location who knows exactly how to make my sandwich and he is always there when I go. (I will get his name & update my review.) I get the Double Monster in a wrap (instead of a roll) w/specific choices (Beef, Bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese, Chipolte sauce & all the toppings except jalapeños). He puts the ingredients in a specific order that he knows will work best. And tho it is a challenge to get the wrap to roll around all those ingredients - he gets it done perfectly every time. It's an art to watch & everyone in the store stops to watch him do it. The other employee kindly calls him from the back to come out when they see me enter the store...b/c they know I would like him to make my sandwhich. The other employee has made my sandwhich & did a perfectly good job - but there is a special rapport I have w/the one who regularly makes my sandwhich. And we have fun while he makes it.I always leave a good cash tip tho I pay by credit card for the sandwhich. I do this in most food shops & restaurants I go to b/c I don't know for sure whether the employees get the full tip in the credit card. Some places, the owners take a share of the tip on credit cards. It's the main reason I still carry cash around :-). Will update w/employee's name.“

“i respect the workers and managers and would even say they are honorable of the chain and clean but come on theres no way im not being trolled at this point (maybe for using codes or something) this not no ft cookie and i argued this before. (they made a bit more) Not tryna hear the oven made it shrink this time cause cookies expand in heat. “21 whole years! That’s how long this place has been in business, I’ve been told. They weathered the pandemic and came out on the other side still able to provide affordable lunch options while still being fresh and high quality. Only just so happened that I came across this place on one of my walks! Main entry is off of Lombard right near the bus stop on the south side of 36 S Charles St. highly recommend the veggie powerhouse sandwhich!Big thank you to the woman who served me today- look forward to dining with yall again ✨“

“It's the only place that's open in my area 24/7 only half of the employees can understand what you are saying which does make it hard when trying to build my sandwich the way I want it but otherwise it's a good little place for a late night bite.
I saw others comments about the homeless people just ignore them and you will be fine they will not do anything because there is always a security guard that stands outside by them so they can't cause terrible

Vegetarian options: I think it is labeled what is and what isn't idk I eat real food sorry but I'm pretty sure I saw a little sign above what things where veg.

Parking: You can park next to the subway or on st.paul St. But on St.Paul you'll have to pay but I think the pay cuts off at a curtain time not sure I usually just walk there

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there is a very easy to access wheelchair ramp it's kinda tight so idk if it'll fit no scooter type of chair but a basic roll n go would be fine“

“I had to take care of some business at SECU. I was hungry and didn't feel like waiting until I got home. I decided to try firehouse subs. I walked in and was greeted by the young man behind the counter. I let him know I was new there and asked him was was some of his favorites. He gave me two options. I decided to try the Jamaican Jerk chicken, it was so good. The bread was so nice and fresh. I really enjoyed my sandwich“

“So I came in after an unfavorable experience at bubba gump down the street and didn't eat. I walked in was greeted by the two gentleman behind the counter could tell they were both happy. As I'm about to order a young kid walks in yelling demanding cookies and to be served to him in a specific manner and could tell the kid was agitated. The two young men behind the counter did as they would with any other customer and take their order and receive payment. I chose to let them take care of the kid to just get him out of the store ASAP. I could not commend how relaxed and professional the two workers were and how nice they were. I hope the owner of this subway knows how lucky he is to have these two guys working for him in the professional manner they composed themselves not only representing themselves but the store aswell. And I hope Subway itself sees this review.“
