We got there on a Saturday morning and ran into a pretty decent line, but the staff were super friendly and it moved along quickly. Nothing beats meat that falls right off the bone and a steak that’s juicy and perfectly cooked.“

“I stopped in after my pilates class for a quick dinner and ordered the pork banh mi and it was amazing! It was so flavorful and fresh, the meat was tender and juicy, and the veggies were so good! I was torn between the sandwich and the noodle bowl but I’m glad that I got the sandwich and it was the perfect amount and was filling! Delicious! I also loved the fact that the restaurant was clean, smelled, amazing, smooth jazz was playing, and the staff was friendly!“

“We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! Wish we could have stayed in DC longer as I would have loved to try the other menu items.“

“Went to Kitchen +Kocktails for the first time last night. The decor was very nice, and the music was good and not obnoxious. Our server Ally was terrific! I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. “We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“Very happy we went to Planta for celebrating my daughter's birthday. Everything about this place was amazing. All the dishes were exactly how we imagined. Spicy tuna sushi rolls and General D's Cauliflower were our favorite. 1000-layer crispy potatoes is a must.“

It offered only 2 items, leaving most kids without something simple like eggs. The menu offered bacon or French toast, but no eggs, which seemed really interesting. Overall, my food and drinks were great. We would most likely go again in the near future.“
