“Only complaint is the alcohol. My friend ordered white wine and received a tiny amount, I believe about 3.5 oz. When she asked if she could have a larger serving on her 2nd glass they increased it to about 5.5 oz. Most places in this county ask if you want a 6 or 9 oz glass. They gave some excuse why they couldn't do that. I ordered a draught beer which also looked a bit less than the pint glass I'm used to, maybe a 12 oz glass. That is my only complaint but it's a pretty big one.“

“Not too much ambiance, it's situated in the lobby of the hotel so what more can you expect. Food was pretty good, aside from the apple pear salad which was not good, it didn't taste fresh at all. The crab cakes and salmon were delicious though! The service was great as well, very friendly wait staff.“

But that is the charm of an old time joint serving 4 styles of chili including a vegetarian version (spicey!!).We've been going here for decades and always enjoy the food.Try the chili in a sample of all four first if you don't know which you'd like.Combine them if you like too!Personally, I live the Texas and Terlingua Red combo.Try it as a four way! “We had a great time celebrating a family milestone. Geo was our server and he was professional, attentive and friendly. We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was cooked to perfection and the “dipping” sauce was fresh and delicious. We had a Meat pizza with pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage and bacon. Loved the thin crust. We had strawberry shortcake for dessert! It was served on a biscuit which was new and different. I want to come back and try the brownie sundae!“
