“We hosted our birthday brunch there last week and the food was simply delicious. The service was outstanding and the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend them for any occasion.“

Ever since moving to in/around this area, I've been looking for a low-key, all-are-welcome, and generally kind place to relax after a long day.

But this place still holds on to the best kind of neighborhood bar tradition. The food here does what it needs to do. The drinks are always on time, and the service makes you feel like you just got home from college. I’ll never talk bad about Stained Glass.“

“Enjoyed a great dinner at Beteseb Restaurant when we came into town for the funeral of a dear Ethiopian friend. The food was excellent and the owner/chef and her brother (who was our server) were very kind, helpful, and welcoming. I highly highly recommend this place, especially for their kitfo!“

“After having being to the silver spring location I decided to cater my event from Kati roll wala. I am super pleased with the experience and all my guests loved the food. I totally loved the paneer roll and the chicken cilantro roll. I got the bite size samosa and the flavors and the size was perfect. Arun is amazing and helped in making sure that the food was exactly per my expectations. Thank you so much for catering my event. Can't wait to try other items in future.“

“We were a little hesitant because of how small the store front was but it ended up being absolutely delightful! We had the empanadas as an appetizer, they were delicious. The bread was such a great consistency, better than the best cornbread. I had the carne asada, and it was so fresh and delicious. All of the food was very authentic! I even tried a new drink, not alcoholic, it was like a tea that was cold but somewhat spicy. It was delicious !! We will definitely be going back for another round ;-) Service was very quick and polite as well.“

“I went to District Taco at the recommendation of a friend, and it did not disappoint. The menu has a variety of options to choose from, and luckily one of the staff there, Eimy, was really helpful with recommending what's most popular, as well as what she's personally grown to love. I'd definitely say I left satisfied. The vibes were good my whole time there, and there was very little wait time. I'll be going back and sharing it with those I know. Shout-out Emiy again, she hooked me up.“

“We had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent including Filet Mignon, Lobster, and an amazingly tender Octopus. The wine chosen, Esporao, was delicious and accompanied the food well. Manuel, the owner, shows wonderful pride in his food creations, and was a warm and friendly host.“

“I was visiting the DC area and wanted pizza, so I decided to try Matchbox. I love a meaty pizza, so I ordered The Pig, which was loaded with pepperoni, ham, sausage, salami, and bacon, and it was super cheesy! Most of the toppings were underneath the cheese. I chose a 10-inch pizza, which was a good size if you have a big appetite or want to share with a friend. The service was excellent; my waiter was very attentive. The space was clean, relaxed, and private enough for each party to enjoy their own area.“

the phở was good, definitely not the best. lacking in depth and quantity. quality? I mean, it's there w the broth and meats but usually it is supposed to be fulfilling. I left wanting another bowl from a different place. the price was definitely reasonable and you get what you'd expect. straight to business, no frills. good for a quick bite, just not memorable
