“We just had the best experience at this restaurant. The staff were very helpful and polite sharing lots of big smiles. We got the lamb chops which I can honestly say are some of the best we’ve had at any restaurant. The chicken in the Tikka Masala was melt in your mouth tender. “My family was in the pizza business for many years in Philadelphia, PA where I worked every aspect of the business. I also served in the military for 23 years and have eaten at dozens of pizza places throughout our great country so I'm very confident in knowing what good pizza is all about and on Aug 30, 2026 I ate at one of the best, if not the best pizza I have ever had at a small corner joint called Angeli's in Baltimore, MD. From the light, airy dough, to the tasty marinara sauce and the high-quality mozzarella cheese all cooked to perfection I was overwhelmed with how good their pizza truly was. And to enhance our experience even more the wait staff and owner was incredibly friendly and attentive and the icing on the cake was meeting Maryann who greeted me with a warm smile and compassionate gratitude when I let her know how great their place and pizza were. Anytime I'm back in Baltimore I will always make time to get a pizza at Angeli's. 10/10 in my book!!!“

Recommend getting there early just because wait times are crazy. “Adorable and quirky cafe that is 100% worth all the hype, the long waits, and the hard-to-snag reservations. I visited Golden West Cafe on a Sunday afternoon with a moderately large group (7 people). We were originally hoping for a brunch reservation but could only snag a 3 PM slot -- a testament to how incredibly popular they are -- although we ended up being ready at 2 PM and called ahead to ask if they could seat us earlier. They, very graciously, were able to make space for us to come a tad earlier.

The food was absolutely incredible -- it was some combination of American comfort and Mexican / Latin American, with classic Mexican items like huevos ranchos, fish tacos, and enchiladas right next to traditional American brunch selections like chicken and waffles, hot cakes, and so forth. Their menu is also remarkably vegetarian / vegan-friendly, and it features their own house-made vegan chicken!

We decided to split a few items, including the zucchini brie hot cakes, fish tacos, and vegan hot honey chicken and waffles. All three were outstanding, but my favorite had to be the zucchini brie hot cakes. The cakes were remarkably soft and fluffy, and I loved the bit of sweetness from the zucchini (and maple syrup, of course), and the extra hit of rich creaminess and savoriness from the brie. It was the perfect sweet and savory combo, and it was easily one of the biggest surprises of the meal.

The rest of the items were also delicious, although not quite as wowing.The fish tacos were well-fried and flavorful, and I was quite impressed by how crispy and thin their accompanying fries were. I really enjoyed the flavor of the hot honey vegan chicken and waffles, but I was, admittedly, a little bit thrown off by the texture of both. It's very possible that the waffle had just gotten a bit soggy because I ate this dish last and it wasn't quite at its peak freshness. Either way, I really enjoyed my time here, and it's 100% worth I try. I can't wait to make my way back to Hampden to sample the rest of their menu!“

The Special Tibbs was so great that we asked for a separate order of it in chicken (lamb, beef, or chicken). We “bothered” our waiter quite a bit and he didn’t mind a bit. He was so caring and kind. He got the chicken jambalaya and I got the seafood and let me tell you it was AMAZING!! It was way too much for lunch I felt like I needed a nap after eating all that but man it was fantastic. The shrimp mussels and catfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the rice delicious I couldn't wait to take the next bite. Will definitely be going back and taking others with me to experience this place. Our waiter was also really kind and attentive. However on our reservation, i had noted it was my boyfriend's birthday. Upon arrival, the gentleman at the host stand had acknowledged this. However, no complementary desert or candle was presented to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. I even ordered a desert hoping it would be presented with a candle but nothing. This was our first time there and we have decided to make it our place to go after a DR. visit nearby. There is parking on the street as well as behind the building. We were unaware of the parking behind the building so I thought a heads up to others was needed. The menu online is the same as the actual menu. This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“Rusty Scupper was amazing. The goold was delicious but what really set them apart was how they went the extra mile for my parents anniversary dinner. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. Going above and beyond, thank you Rusty Scupper staff, thank you so very much. You gave my parents an experience that is above and beyond "like something out of a movie" mom keeps saying!!!!“

“Randomly driving through Timonium on our way back to PA we were looking for food. Fuentes showed with good reviews and we stopped. Now once a month (sometimes more) we drive an hour back to Timonium for amazing food. We’ve even brought family down here. The italian food is plentiful and tasty but the fish and shrimp tacos are our favorite. A lovely couple owns the place and they cook all the food and they’ve always been kind to us. We hope to come here for many more years.“
