“I tried their food for the first time yesterday, based on a recommendation of a new employee at my place of work. I was absolutely shocked by how delicious the sandwich was. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the rooster sauce was dynamite! After lunch, I recommended it to another coworker who then also ordered it for lunch and tried it for the first time. She said she had the same experience I had- life changing! If you’re looking for a chicken sandwich, this is the place to go!“

“Absolutely obsessed with this chicken! Been going here for years now. I always crave their chicken tenders because they're 1) humongous 2) spicy and 3) they have a variety of delicious dipping sauces. Food always comes out super fast, only have to wait ~10 min every time. Love it.“

“we LOVE Chick-fil-A anywhere, but this new on in DC is Amaaaaaaazing!!! Clean and neat! The staff is SO friendly! The owner is awesome and helps the community.“

“I had a great experience at Popeyes! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted me with a smile, took my order quickly, and made sure everything was correct.

The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were seasoned just right, and the biscuits were warm and delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous.

The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a comfortable atmosphere. Even though it was busy, the service was fast, and the employees worked efficiently while still being polite and attentive.

Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent customer service. I will definitely come back again and would highly recommend this Popeyes to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a great dining experience. Thank you for making my visit so enjoyable!“

“I’ve dined here a few times now, and each experience was great. Excellent food, cocktails, and service. And it’s much more than fried chicken — there’s variety and wonderful flavor combinations to be had. The space is a little tight, but it’s part of the charm. Happy to support this gem!“

“🌶❤️🌶 We love the delicious chicken at Nando’s! They have awesome vegetarian items as well! Get the warm pastels de Natas for dessert. Life changing!!“

“I was feeling home sick, I seen NY sigh and wanted to try and I'm so happy I did. If you from New York then you know Kenny chicken and it tastes just like it, omg. If know, know lol. Such amazing customer service on top of great food. I will be back.“

“First time even hearing about peri peri chicken but wanted to be adventurous. Every single item of my order was filled incredible flavor. I’m talking lick you lips and ask for more type flavor. It’s the one place I have revisit once I’m back. 🥰🥰“

“The combination between African and Portuguese is espectacular!“

“The manager John at this location is a 10/10. We can’t thank him enough for his kindness and for making us feel how we did. His entire team was warm, polite and made us feel welcome- especially Michael who first took our order. He even made me a special coffee for my long trip post meal. The whole team Pitched in to help us find our son’s missing stuffed animal and while we didn’t find it, the effort put in was tremendous. We are unsure if someone in the community picked up a small stuffed black cat at this location but we are offering a reward if anyone did and can mail it to us. My 2.5 year old son adores this stuffed animal and is so sad it’s missing. The store has our information/you can message me here if you have any information. Thank you to anyone and everyone in advance and especially the team at Chick-fil-A for making a difference in our day.“

“Good food all around. Girl at the register obviously doesn't like her job or people...either way, not the place to be working as a cashier...but I don't want to dwell on just a single negative as the other 15 positives stand out!👍🏼 Restrooms were clean & maintained. Overall 4.5 Stars!👍🏼“

“Awesome food and great service!“

“I swear the chicken tasted like it had national funding 😭🍗 Somehow it was too good — like suspiciously good. Crispy, perfect, life-changing. I walked in expecting fast food and left questioning every other Popeyes I’ve ever had.“

“So delicious! Wish I would have taken a picture but it was so good I couldn't stop eating! There will be a next time! Hands down the best flavored Peruvian I've had. You can taste the seasonings and you can taste that smoky charcoal grilling! Side's are delicious too!“

“Super good fav spot to go ea alone and family. And here serves is so good and he rea out like family.“

“The little ladies inside at the register are AMAZING, one of the cooks, an older woman, ALWAYS has smile and wave, another older woman is so very nice. Another younger woman i caught frowning at me 1 time.

It's unfortunate to the business that it is where it is otherwise the atmosphere. What get a higher for me?It's not the fault of the business. It's just it being located in fordsville. But the atmosphere is never a place of drama, so I would give it about a 3.8 just not a 4.“

“Their food is the best my favorite is torta mexicana ,pescado frito their fries taste so delicious dip in there white sauce I also Love their customer service and how family-friendly they are . There dessert is die for .“

“I would love to jion them again“

“Izzy is the owner of this establishment, and it is evident in the quality and care put into every aspect of the experience. The chicken was fresh, flavorful, and exceptionally well-prepared honestly better than Popeyes. The customer service was outstanding: professional, welcoming, and attentive. Overall, I had an excellent experience and will certainly return. I highly recommend this establishment.“

“This is the reason I love Chickfila so much.“

“Every time I come from NC to visit my daughter in DC I stop in this place. As a Peruvian I must say this is the authentic peruvian chicken, the taste of the pollo a la brasa is exquisite. The sides are also fantastic. The customer service is also wonderful, thank you to Juan and Wendy. Please keep the good job!“

“Good and Clean! Food always HIT.
After Ushering at church, I don't want to cook. I want to go to Silvestre Chicken #1 and watch the game IN THE STORE while I CRUSH my dinner. They have a plug on the wall...ummm hummm
Let's watch THE GAME“

“I loved the chicken it’s rotisserie, or fried version, the chicken is consistently tender and juicy. It is seasoned perfectly, with a rich, savory flavor that feels authentic and fresh. The portions are often generous, making it a satisfying choice for a main course.“

“Very nice shopping center for ward 7 🫶🏿“

“OMG!!!!! When I tell you that I have never tried a tastier roast chicken in the world, it is because it is true.... This place has one of the best foods with a lot of seasoning, it tastes so good and they give you good portions and the prices are fair. THANK YOU I'm going to come every day until I try the entire menu!!!!!!!! <3“

“It's always delicious to pass by a campero! In this establishment the cashier was very friendly and attentive! And the table area was clean.

Parking: It has ample parking, you just have to be careful since the drive thru is a few steps from the entrance. It is necessary to be attentive.“

“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.“

“Service was great and the food superb! I had the chicken sandwich. It was delicious! Hot, and I savored every bite. Well seasoned. The Mac n cheese was piping hot and creamy. The cold slaw was good. This is the best Popeye’s in DC. If I want Popeye’s, I’m driving all the way from Oxon Hill to MLK!“

“Muy rico 😋 el pollo Popeyes“
