“This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Staff was quick, explained the menu and ordering process and also offered a taste of you weren’t sure you’d like something. 10/10. I’ll be back again.“

“The service was top tier. The person working the register was very pleasant. I didnt get her name but she around 5pm. The food was really good. I got the lemon pepper, fries, cabbage, and yams. Everything was flavorful and fresh to order. There are a variety of sauces and dry seasoning for your wings. I will be heading back to try the shrimp and next the ribs. They had an option for turkey bht they were out when I came. They also have a few seasons to put on your order which is available on the side of the counter. The place smells good when you walk in. It is inside of a liquor shop. Very tiny space but its obviously not meant for dine in purposes. I can see them getting packed for lunch but the time I went, it was not crowded just a steady flow of customers.“

“Went on a Saturday night after deciding we didn’t want to wait in line at the Pizza place around the corner. We had no idea what to expect but it looked interesting so gave it a shot and we’re very surprised to find three restaurants in one (Burgers, Mexican-Ethiopian fusion, and Soul chicken) I was originally to try the soul chicken, but I changed my mind and tried the Mex-Ethiopian fusion since I’m Mexican and my husband got a burger and fries. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised with my unique tacos and guac, and the burger was crazy filling. Those fries were pretty good too. Now I’m excited to go back and try the soul chicken too.

“I had the best experience here at Addie‘s. The owner was amazing and super accommodating with what our request were for our order and allow us to try a variety of things on their menu. I highly recommend their turkey, yams, mac & cheese, green beans, and mashed potatoes while these are our favorite everything was well seasoned, including the cornbread, which is to die for. The staff is incredibly kind and I knew I was taken care of here at this establishment. Even though parking was slightly challenging, I most definitely will be back.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. “Absolutely wonderful place. The food was excellent, prices surprisingly cheap for the quality and quantity of food. Everything was well cooked and seasoned. I normally dont order home fries because at most places they are a soggy bland mess, but here they were absolutely delicious. I got the fried pork chops and they were delicious.

Im not vegan and ordered the black bean chili, it would have been nice to actually have meat in it. Lol. I added raw onion and hot sauce and it was better tasting IMO. The whiting nuggets were cool, the sauce was superb. I also ordered the salmon salad but haven’t eaten it yet. The presentation is chefs kiss! So much color in the dish. I want to comeback and try the bean pie and the hibiscus ginger pineapple juice.“

“I love the food at EllaRay’s Cafe. I go there every week. I usually call my order in and pick it up in 15 or 20 minutes. I prefer the vegetable platter and an extra side of beans. The portions are enough for two meals for me. I love breakfast there also. Glad I discovered them.“

One day I got tired of McDonald's and all the issues that come with it. There prices are good and competitive compared to local shops and they don't skimp on the food! Its maybe 1-3$ more on avg then mcornalds but its worth it. Plus there menu, both breakfast and lunch are avaliable all day! Definitely found me a new breakfast spot“
