“Genuinely super delicious and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients!! Definitely will be coming back. Such a simple menu, but it’s working in their favor! The space is on the smaller side but they have an adorable outdoor seating. I also love how kid-friendly the place was , including allowing kids to draw to decorate the space! Staff were also super friendly and it just feel a like a great local spot, that I hope is here for as long as possible.“

“Found this place while watching Peaks100 wife. She did not disappoint! This popular hole in the wall joint was pressure. My son and I ordered our food to go since the place was crowded but we ended up eating the food in the car because it smelled so good. We both ordered the OKC burger with the combo. At first I was complaining about the extra $5 for the combo given that you receive a can soda. But once my food was ready I stopped immediately. They give you so many freshly cut fries it’s worth the extra $5 for sure. The burger was fresh, seasoned well and the sauce was everything! We woke up the next day thinking we should drive back which was around 45 minutes from where we live. I would definitely return. Sorry no pictures this review. We ate in the car so I didn’t have any free hands to take a pic. You should definitely try this though. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥“

“Always busy, but seriously the best burger in town (if not the world), so it's worth the wait. I grew up on Good Stuff burgers and shakes. The Prez Obama burger (I think now known as the Prez Burger) with house fries (rosemary and all things delicious) with a toasted marshmallow shake (or cherry blossom if it's in season) is to DIE for. Also Spike's Sunnyside burger is delicious. Highly highly recommend for tourists looking for a dope local find.“

I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“

For a ward 8 resident and DC native, we take Sunday morning breakfast serious, and nobody wants to travel to PG, VA or cross the bridge for family breakfast. I have been to that IHOP at least 100 times, so I have seen the good and the bad times. I will say this, there is a noticeable difference in the customer care experience. From the attention to detail of the employees, the cleanliness of the restaurant (especially the bathroom), and the friendly staff, I was wholly impressed. I felt safe and ready to spend my hard earned money. I even tipped the waitress 50% because she deserved it. Hopefully the word gets out that it is a good thing to go to the Alabama Ave IHOP and the new owners keep this level of care for us the customers.“

“Unbelievable experience at what initially looks like a carryout restaurant. When we walked in we knew we were gonna take our carryout order and sit in. The menu has a lot of variety. The food came out fresh and made to order, but it did not take a long time. I looked at the reviews and saw that the Gyro over rice looked really good, it tasted even better!!

The owner was very relatable, and very hospitable. Though you order at the counter, they bring the food to you like at a sit down restaurant! It felt almost like I was eating at a family-friend’s or my uncle’s house!

I already know what I’m going to order when I come back from my second trip! Keep up the amazing job !!

“My first time at this Bubbie’s location. I was a big fan when they were in DC. The food is the best! I recommend ordering ahead on your phone because my experience was very slow. Like, delivery drivers waiting around, people warning their friends not to order there slow. It took my order 25-30 minutes to be ready. If you order when you arrive, you order on a screen anyway. And they only have one device for ordering, so you could potentially wait while someone else is using it. So again, just order on your phone ahead of time! It’ll be ready when you arrive. All seating is outdoor. It’s a very nice space, but of course something to keep in mind if the weather is bad. We parked in the parking garage across the street. It was free on the weekends.“
