“They have very delicious Halal food for Muslims, the taste is very good, the quantity is great and the price is awesome! If you go to another restaurant for Halal food you will pay more than Naz’s at least $5 more!
Also they have a very wonderful chocolate with pistachio, it’s so delicious ??
I tried a chicken plate, wings and the pistachio chocolate and really I will go again and again. The staff were so friendly always smiling and so helpful.

“Approaching the place, it is super bright, which helps finding it as the restaurant is set back from the buildings around it. This also gave us a sense of safety walking in.
There was someone at the counter ready to assist us, but being our first time in, we opted for a kiosk, off to the right side, with a big and equally bright screen, displaying images of every dish. This was very helpful and made the ordering easy and quick, even for us newbies to the place.
We opted to take out. Already, in the car, the aroma of delicious food filled the air. Once at our place, we started opening the containers and wrappers, even the packaging was excellent, inside the plastic bag, a heavy-duty paper back, stapled to containers to prevent shifting and spilling during transport.
The food was utterly delicious, from simple salad, tzatziki sauce (some of the best I have tried anywhere), chickpeas, seasoned fries, shawarmas and kabob.
It would be 2 thumbs up but both my hands were busy.“

“During my weekend stay in Washington DC I was able to visit the New York Grill twice.

Both times the food was IMMACULATE! I highly recommend the Lamb Gyro, and the fries were very good too!

Even with roughly a 20 Minute walk back to my hotel, the food comes out hot, and well wrapped, allowing the heat to stay within and keep your food warm for quite a while!

Overall, this was my favorite place we ate over the course of 3 days, out of about a dozen spots.

I DEFINITELY Recommend the New York Grill! Please patronize this great establishment, hell go 3 times a day if your budget allows!

Most food trucks make my tummy a bit unhappy, but not this one! Plus it feels like a good way to spend my money. I had a great experience at Naz’s Halal Food in Rockville! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. But what really stood out to me was the amazing service.

“Always delicious traditional Egyptian fare. My Egyptian husband makes me drive two hours just to eat here. Although the food is delicious and healthy, my fav thing is the mint lemonade which they make by hand.“

“I went here with my friend and he gave me a free Pepsi! Really nice and friendly atmosphere from the other people waiting there too. The food was awesome, the fries were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Definitely worth trying. My friend got the cheeseteak sub with the fries which I also ate 😍“

“Loved eating here. The restaurant smelled faintly of incense, which was a welcome ambiance. Tables are layed out well so it doesn't feel cramped. The space is nice and bright with beautiful decor. Sheer chai — this tea had a nice balance of milk and sugar

Mantoo classic — these beef dumplings were full of flavor and served at the right temperature, hot but not too much to burn your mouth

Lamb shank — the sauce was packed with flavor and the meat fell off the bones. It came with rice that was a lovely buttery complement to the lamb

Sheer berenj — had this for dessert and it was very refreshing. It's not milky and the pistachios on top added a nice nutty flavor to the rice pudding

Green tea with cardamom — nice way to end dinner“

My son and I ordered our food to go since the place was crowded but we ended up eating the food in the car because it smelled so good. We both ordered the OKC burger with the combo. At first I was complaining about the extra $5 for the combo given that you receive a can soda. But once my food was ready I stopped immediately. They give you so many freshly cut fries it’s worth the extra $5 for sure. The burger was fresh, seasoned well and the sauce was everything! We woke up the next day thinking we should drive back which was around 45 minutes from where we live. I would definitely return. Sorry no pictures this review. “The best Chinese takeout in the area. Not the place for you if you’re looking for greasy salty saucy food. I’m 50+ and had to stop eating from nearby spots due to health. My lady lets me eat here I do not feel woozy night of or next morning after eating. Keep it up folks!

Dined in with my family and saw they added gelato now. I chuckled seeing a Chinese spot offering artisanal ice cream but thought it was really nice! They have guava, mango, coconut (which I got and was REALLY GOOD) and passionfruit and lucuma. Very densely packed for under $5 a pop. Something about a place having ice cream just brightens everything up.“

“Even though it is a hike for us from Virginia to MD, we can't help but make the trip at least once a month. Halal food aside, it is simply one of the best Chinese food places around.
