Pulled up otw home from out the city. I have an hour drive and I do not feel like I’ll have the bandwidth to cook tonight. Got half chicken with two sides and MAAM, Abuela in the back knows how to throw together an amazing dinner.

No excessive wait, efficiency and a good meal. It’s now the go to when I don’t feel like cooking“

“When ordering to go from their specialty menu check your food before you leave. I order (2) salmon with brussels sprouts and chaufa rice. When I got home what I saw was five pieces of brussels sprouts, two carrots and a portion of rice for a toddler. At least the salmon was a decent proportion. Not worth the money.“

“Today, my husband and I visited Peruvian Brothers and the experience was simply wonderful! We were warmly welcomed by the owner himself, who kindly took the time to serve us personally. Even though we arrived just 40 minutes before closing, the service was impeccable from start to finish, attentive and full of care.
We ordered the Lomo Saltado a lo Pobre and, without exaggeration, it was one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever had. Every bite felt like being transported straight to Peru, a true culinary journey.
We also had the chance to chat a little with the owner, his wife, and their son, and they were all so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more special and memorable.
Without a doubt, Peruvian Brothers has become one of my favorite restaurants. We’ll be coming back many, many times to relive this amazing experience. Highly recommended!“

“Best Peruvian chicken, everything else is just charbroil chicken. Nothing compares to the flavor. The only dislike I have is that the beans count as a side, and rice counts as another side. Rice and bean should be a single side, in my opinion. What do guys think? Other than that, it would've been a 5 star rating.“

“Cool little place inside an old auto repair garage. Very informal, prices are reasonable for DC. Panang chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, full flavored with a hot kick! French fries were also very good. The rotisserie half chicken was just OK, a bit bland and it was reheated in a microwave. So we thought it might have been cooked many hours previously.“

“I’m a little late with this review… but a few days ago, we ordered lunch here because all my coworkers couldn’t stop raving about how good the food is. I called in, and the woman who picked up (later found out her name is ASIA) was so kind and patient despite our large order, which included multiple menu items. I also really appreciated how she read back our order to make sure everything was correct and nothing was missed.

When I was checking out, I noticed there was no option to leave a tip??? I asked for her name so I could at least give my girl Asia a shoutout for her AMAZING customer service and positive energy. She made me feel so welcomed from start to finish. Asia, if you’re reading this, you are the best ☺️👏🏼✨“

“El restaurante está retomando a los clientes anteriores y atrayendo a nuevos porque la administración anterior era bastante mediocre. El personal que atiende es muy amable, atento y servicial pero el dueño actual es altanero y arrogante no solamente con el personal pero también con los clientes. Hoy tienen un evento pero el ego de ese individuo no le permite ser humilde y amable para informar a los clientes que solamente se pueden hacer pedidos para llevar. En vez de eso, mira a uno por encima del hombro y con desprecio. Pésimo trato que debe comunicarse. Solamente se espera eso de alguien que no sabe nada de nada.“

Easy to order online/over the phone, staff is very helpful when you are trying to order for another and don't understand their request, and they are just nice when you walk in. From the moment I thought about ordering to paying for my food, I have nothing but compliments. 10/10“

“One of my favorite places in the DMV, I just love this place, and yes I get the same thing every time I go. My daughter and I get the half roast chicken, white rice topped with pinto beans, and the mixed salad with ranch dressing. The chicken is moist and slightly smoky from the charcoal, the pinto beans are slightly buttery atop the fluffy white rice. Lastly, the mixed green salad is fresh and crunchy with the slightly tangy ranch dressing. It comes with two sauces: yellow which is mild and creamy and the green which is spicy and refreshing. Did I mention I love the place “I’m loco for chicken Rico” don’t tell them I said that.“

They frequently suggest new or on-sale menu items, which I appreciate even though I don't usually try new dishes. “It's impossible not to compare Don Pollo to other local Peruvian chicken places, like Crisp & Juicy or el Pollo Rico. Because of that there's a high bar set. The chicken is fresh, juicy, and well seasoned, but I'd have preferred a more crispy skin. The black beans and rice lacked flavor, definitely needed salt. The fries were where they lost me. They weren't fresh, weren't seasoned, weren't hot, and worst of all, they were kind of soggy. The sauces were very good. You get a bright green spicy sauce, that seems to be made from fresh peppers, perhaps jalapeño. Then there's a mayo based creamy orange colored sauce. Frankly because the chicken is so well seasoned, I don't think it needs sauce, but it's nice to have the option.“
