“Went for the first time yesterday and Louie made me feel super welcomed from the beginning! They have a great Happy Hour for drinks and food. I ordered a loaded baked potato which was only $5 during Happy Hour and was very filling! Will definitely have to visit again, especially with the specials they offer like Wednesday Prime Rib!“

“I would describe this restaurant as Cantonese style, and some Chinese-American dishes. It is also a very good place to eat.
This time, I had Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, and it was really yummy. I also had 1/2 Lbs of BBQ roast pork with it It was really tasty. It made me happy all day, a good Chinese meal. It feels very Chinese, which is good, too. Hot tea pot for free with the meal. That Chinese broccoli with the oyster sauce is probably extremely healthy.
I suggest you go or at least try Full Key in Wheaton. They have lunch specials. I may go back for the beef and broccoli special, next time. One time I had sweet and sour Chicken or Pork it was really a tasty dish, real tasty. They have lots of nice traditional Hong Kong style soups. Duck and pork. “We splurged and did the full 12 course tasting experience with the chef's cellar wine pairing and it did not disappoint! When you spend that much you want to be blown away and Mita delivered with one of the best meals of our lives! No exaggeration. There wasn't a wrong note the entire evening, and it was a 3 hour experience. I've been to several high end and Michelin starred places over the years and there were multiple times at Mita, with both food and wine, I thought "I've never tasted anything like that before." Save up and go!“

“Honestly thee best raw vegan food I have ever tasted . My favorite right now is the Live burger entree with arugula salad and plantains. For dessert I love their doughnuts OMG so delicious . The first course they served was rare, with a good part of the center uncooked. The sauce was good, but the doneness made it much too chewy. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for my second course, and again, was not served a medium rare steak. This time, though, on the opposite end of the spectrum— the steak was served medium well, without much pink. I'm mildly confused by two things: how there's this much variance in steak doneness, and why a restaurant named Medium Rare seemingly hasn't figured out how to make a medium rare steak. I'd give it a 6/10 overall— I wish the food was treated better.“

This is probably the best ramen place I’ve been to in the U.S. The place is kind of small, but trust me the wait is worth it. They have truly incredible ramen that will make me miss them so much after I leave D.C. If you prefer lighter broth I recommend the truffle shoyu, if you prefer richer broth I recommend the triple threat. They are both so delicious. Every component of the ramen is perfect, and when they combine all you feel is happiness. The chicken karage is very good too, the portion is huge and it’s not that expensive. I’m so happy that I discovered this treasure place, and I will DEFINITELY visit again! Best food I’ve had in D.C.“

“There's a reason Rose Ave usually has a line out the door. This is one of the best bakeries in DC, with a somewhat limited selection compared to other bakeries. They have one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city, egg and cheese on a garlic croissant type roll. Super rich and will definitely leave your hands covered in butter. The ube kouign amann is incredible and the donuts are both delicious and unique. They have great coffee and a small selection of cakes and slices of cake as well.“

“I stopped in with friends before a event Sunday evening. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had the lentil sambusas and a peanut-infused coffee at the staff’s recommendation. The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.“

“Loved eating here. The restaurant smelled faintly of incense, which was a welcome ambiance. Tables are layed out well so it doesn't feel cramped. The space is nice and bright with beautiful decor. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious! Loved every single thing I ordered:

Sheer chai — this tea had a nice balance of milk and sugar

Mantoo classic — these beef dumplings were full of flavor and served at the right temperature, hot but not too much to burn your mouth

Lamb shank — the sauce was packed with flavor and the meat fell off the bones. It came with rice that was a lovely buttery complement to the lamb

Sheer berenj — had this for dessert and it was very refreshing. It's not milky and the pistachios on top added a nice nutty flavor to the rice pudding

Green tea with cardamom — nice way to end dinner“
