“Our food was delicious and fresh! The cooks took their time and did not rush to get the order out quickly. I ordered Shrimp and mixed vegetables and my husband had the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Both were cooked exactly how we like it! The meals reminded us of Chinese food in our home town NYC! We will definitely be coming back!“

“Benny’s Sub Shop in La Plata is legit. The fried rice is great and way better than you’d expect from a sub shop. On top of that, the customer service is super friendly and laid-back, which makes the whole experience even better. Solid local spot for sure.“

“This is the best Chinese takeout we have found in the area - we drive here from Waldorf to pick it up because it really is better than any other place we have found. The only one that comes close is Hunan Star in La Plata but this is still preferred. My husband loves their General Tso chicken and I'm a big fan of their Egg Foo Young. Portion sizes are large so we always have leftovers! Worth the drive to Manokeek!“

“I really like this Panda Express. They always have top-knotch customer service and greet you as soon as you walk into the door. You can tell that high-quality customer service is a high priority for their team. The food is usually fresh and tastes good. I like usually get the walnut shrimp and orange chicken with half fried rice, half lomein. Or, lately, the spicy steak with white rice. I typically go here because I get my haircut at the salon suites right next to it.

The only drawback is that the men's bathroom is missing a stall and only has one toilet. In the past the bathroom was kind of dirty but it was very clean and smelled really good the most recent time that I visited.“

“Me and my boyfriend come to this Chinese place every time we are in Maryland. We have been nothing but please when it comes to there food and service prices are fine. I guess cuz we live in Virginia prices are a lot higher out there than they are in Maryland so their prices is okay with us. We normally just order the usual 6 piece fried chicken fried hard with your fried or shrimp fried rice and their cheese steak egg rolls are the best can't go wrong.“

I requested the egg foo young be cooked spicy but she said they couldn't do it, however they did provide some pepper sauce on the side at no charge.“

“Very fresh ingredients and home cook taste. My mom taught me how to cook Chinese food Hong Kong style and the chefs here are just as good. They always use fresh veggies and meats. I am always happy with everything I order here.
My FAVORITE:
1. Hot and Sour soup; it is a vegetarian style hot and sour soup with clean ingredients made to order. Each soup is freshly made not like some other places when they have a big pot of day old hot and sour who knows what's in it type.
2. The Singapore style Mai Fun with shrimp and chicken is also very good even though a little moist for my tastes but the fresh ingredients wins my tummy over.
3. French fries- it is greasy and crunchy as French fries should be.

“I tried this restaurant while visiting a friend. I ordered spring rolls, beef & shrimp fried rice, and crab fried rice. The food was awesome! I wouldn't order the crab fried rice again because it's made with imitation crab meat. However, I will definitely be back!“
