“I stumbled across the Reserve from an advertisement i saw online about a past karaoke brunch event that was had there. From there i went straight to yelp to read reviews and everything was positive across the board from the service, dining experience, food and atmosphere. From the positive reviews i pulled up and met the owner Phil who kindly showed me both room and packages i could get to accomdate a space for my sisters 40th party and feed 30 people. I was sold on the large lounge area Phil created with the beautiful grass walls, large mirrors, french crystal chandelier lights and an plug in ready dj sound system.I am a worrier naturally so i would call and text the owner to make sure everything was going to be up to par for the party. Every request I made to Phil, he made it happen. From the small things to moving tables and furniture to have more room to requesting additional menu items last minute it was the easiest planning party experience i've had. Only thing i did was put up a few balloons around the grass walls, we set up a backdrop photo booth and had the best 40th karaoke dj party and everyone had a blast! After my event every guest came to me and said they enjoyed the vibe, atmosphere and mostly the food. They were very ecstatic on the fresh crispy chicken, mac and cheese, fish, salad and homemade dressing that came along with it. Up to this point i had never tasted Phil's food i went off the reviews off of google and yelp of real people spending their money and giving honest reviews. Let me tell you 'The Reserve' is a southern hidden gem. The food is one of the best soul food places in baltimore and i am a picky eater, the chicken melts in your mouth, the mac and cheese will be the first thing gone off your plate and every option on the menu is great to try.Thank you Phil for delivering a wonderful service and giving me and my guest a great experience for my sisters party, the ambiance was perfect, the food was excellent and I had a wonderful experience overall and i have referred them to a few people and will be back personally to eat so yal check this place out :)Kid-friendliness: I have a 1 and 3 year old and they were very much accomdating with plenty of space“
“This is by far the best chicken and fish place in Baltimore. The fastest selling item is the macaroni and cheese. People are coming in and ordering just macaroni and cheese sometimes and they're ordering extra on the side with their meal. And the cabbage is to die for oh my god I don't know what he puts in the cabbage but it's great. If you're looking for a place to get some good soul food this is it!“
“Y'all when I tell you this is THEE BEST vegan joint in Baltimore or maybe the whole East Coast, trust me, I tell you no lies. The food is awesome I traveled from Detroit Michigan with my husband who is from New York just to experience the soul food flavors that only this restaurant delivers.....They never miss y'all...the food hit the right spot...Vegetarian options: Their is something for EVERYONE“
“Absolutely delicious plant based and vegan food. The "fish" sandwich was out of this world and so was the "seafood" Mac and cheese. Can't wait to go back down and try more meals when I'm in the area.Vegetarian options: All food is plant based and or vegan“
“This was our first time at Ethel's. It's quite small, so the noise level is a bit high. But, that didn't matter. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. Pricing is about what you might expect, not cheap but not over the top. I would definitely recommend Ethel's. And, we'll certainly be going back again.“
“From PA, we were a long way from home and starving. The food here was amazing! It is a take-out style restaurant (for now I think), but there's tables set up outside for your immediate dining. So delicious!!! We were stuffed! Service was as promised for a walk-in, only 20 minutes for a pretty nice size order. And while we were sitting, the door was revolving! Highly recommend! Had to walk back in and thank them again for feeding us! It was so delicious! Great food, Granny's...Thanks again!“
“Food is super good . French toast bacon egg and cheese was the best . Belgium waffles are soo good . Nothing there dissapoints . Im from NY and i wish they could come out here lol 10/10 . Only thibg i will say is you will be waiting a little while for your food but its well worth the wait .“
“I had a taste for soul food today and came across Ebony's Kitchen during a Google search and decided to give this a try. I called and Ebony and Tina answered my inquiries fully. My husband, son and me truly enjoyed experiencing all these flavorful foods. It was delicious and delightful. We ordered the chicken dinners with sides mac n cheese, candied yams and collards. Mmm...mmm good. Thank you Ebony and Tina for the hospitality and greatfood. Keep up the good work until meet again. Yezzzzzz!!!“
“Omg I love Chelsea. So I ordered seafood salad for Thanksgiving like I do every year. I misjudged how much people would want it so I had to call her back and place another order the night before Thanksgiving. Chelsea said I got you. She is so helpful, caring , and most of all down to earth. She is a amazing business owner and I really appreciate her. ❤️“
“Finally had enough food from here to give it a review. Usually get the fried chicken, which is always on point. Tastes like a grandmother made it with love, and is always consistently good. Have had the fish and that’s good, and they give you a lot for the money. Decided to try the turkey wings yesterday and that’s what made me finally decide to write a review. They were seasoned and tender and had the southern homemade taste I was looking for. All in all, I have to say that Mr Bobby’s is where it’s at.“
“Took the toddler grands for lunch. We got A LOT of food for our money. The mac and cheese alone is worth the visit. Chicken was as good as I've had. I got the breast quarter plate. I wanna probably get a leg quarter next time. Sweet potato and muffin combine to make a serious sweet potato pie in your mouth. Owner and staff were great. Relaxed vibe Small place, two booths and counter seating. We took home leftovers, and they went quick!“
“You walk in to a high-end lounge feel but also the authentic Soul of the city and the genuine OG Miss Carter style still here. A big smile from TIA opens the whole experience up while she brings you some water and the menus. I went for watermelon lemonade which is amazing for me. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Alfredo pasta and even met the Chef AJ, who made me feel like my order was a special one from the get. Music and low light ambiance relaxes you and the strong soulfood taste of the food takes you to a higher place. This is the place to be. Thanks Tia and AJ dor a great time!! Many visits to come!!“
“I called my order in. A french toast platter with fried eggs and turkey bacon. With a side of home fries with onions and green peppers.I have to start off by saying from the first bite of the home fries I knew that the food was going to be delicious. And it in fact was. The only thing I wouldn’t get next time is the turkey bacon. There was a bit of a wait in the store but that’s just because their food is so good. It’s definitely on the pricey side. My food came up to $20 which was shocking to me. Usually a French toast platter will be around $10 and home fries probably $4. Nonetheless at least the food was good. The service was great as well. The lady at the counter greeted everyone when they got to the front of the counter and everyone got a “thank you, thank you very much” after they received their order. It’s refreshing to see customer service being a priority.I wouldn’t go here too often because they a bit expensive. But I will surely return.“
