“This is what my wife and I will say about Janice’s cakes: We were married 30+ years ago and we and our guests are STILL talking about the cake. My wife put a photo of it in her locket opposite a shot of me from the wedding. We’ve spent the years since trying to replicate its deliciousness and continually fail. Janice is that good.“

“Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“

“Definitely on the more expensive side for the area but the food was delicious. Lunch for four on a weekday and it was incredibly quiet—probably no more than five groups were there the whole time. We ordered a set of garlic knots, two pastas, a seafood scampi, and a simply massive lobster roll. It was out in a timely manner and the food was piping hot. My scampi had full lobster claw meat and several huge shrimp. The service was great, although note that this was a quiet lunch, not a Friday night dinner.“
