“We had the best time and best food here! My sister and I and our families and my two pups all ate dinner here on August 16th, 2024. Our service was excellent and the food was SO good. My pups were greeted and given a bowl of water and enjoyed the smoked turkey off dog menu too! Solid selection of local beers and nice variety of cocktails to choose from too. I would highly recommend checking this place out. There’s also an ice cream shop right next door, if you happen to not be too stuffed after your meal!“

“Just had a top notch dinner at Havana. And as someone who has to eat gluten free I was so impressed when the waiter brought out gluten free bread for me when he brought out bread for the table AND my own butter/spreads for it so there wasn’t cross contamination. Every dish we ate was amazing. Do not overlook the vegan option! My daughter (not vegan) thought it was one of the best meals she has eaten in years.“

“It was our first day in Bar Harbor and we chose Galyn’s for dinner. It was delicious. We sat on their front porch overlooking the harbor. The food was great and our waitress was so nice; very pleasant. We had the stuffed crab mushrooms, haddock sandwiches and blueberry crisp-a la mode for dessert. Yummy.“

“July 2026. We stopped in for two cocktails and lunch. Cocktails were very good and not short on alcohol. Sat outside along sidewalk, and the view was great. Service was professional, right down to uniformed wait staff, commensurate with a five star joint. We shared the corned beef Ruben which was excellent. Shaved thin, fat attached, with an excellent horseradish mustard dressing. Excellent spiced, but not spicy, fries.“

“I’m not usually a fan of ice cream. We tried a flour with honey and salt at this location and it was the best ice cream of my life. I went back two days in a row to check if that flavor was there, but it was out. My husband tried cookies and cream, And salted caramel. Everything was a hit. I wish they would open up a shop in New York.“

“Slice of Eden made our wedding cupcakes last year and they were fantastic! We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!“

“Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“

“Great ice cream in downtown Bar Harbor! CASH ONLY!! It was a little pricey and the cash thing was a pain. But they had tons of flavors to choose from, including blueberry soft serve! Delicious dairy free options as well!!! It was a little disappointing that they wouldn't give out samples so you could choose the best flavor, but the ones we picked were delicious!“
