“Planning a wedding in Maine all the way from West Virginia was overwhelming, and I knew I was going to need help. Tabitha from Luxury Picnics of Acadia was absolutely amazing! She has an incredible vision and the skill to create stunning tablescapes. I had a general idea of what the table would look like, but she went above and beyond—it was even more beautiful than I imagined. She personalized the entire setup, from fresh flowers to custom name cards, and my guests were so impressed. What really made the experience stand out was the customer service. Our cashier, a wonderful Jamaican woman, was so warm, personable, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. She made us feel genuinely appreciated as customers and brought such positive energy to the restaurant.
The cook was also fantastic and took the time to give us recommendations, which ended up being spot on. You can tell the staff truly care about the customer experience and take pride in what they do.We’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in Bar Harbor!“

“Amanda was fantastic! The restaurant was clearly busy, but she was completely on top of every table and never missed a beat. She was attentive, friendly, gave great recommendations, and somehow made everything feel effortless even while juggling so much. Her suggestion of the blackened fish club sandwich was spot on… genuinely one of the best fish sandwiches I’ve ever had. Such great service from start to finish. Amanda is a total pro!“

“Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“

“This place is a MUST! Over the week we have been in Bar Harbor we have ate at A LOT of places, Tap & Barrel is hands the best meal I’ve had here by a long shot. Marina was super knowledgeable and gave 15/10 service! You will not regret stopping here and grabbing a bite to eat or even just some drinks!“

“It was our first day in Bar Harbor and we chose Galyn’s for dinner. It was delicious. We sat on their front porch overlooking the harbor. The food was great and our waitress was so nice; very pleasant. We had the stuffed crab mushrooms, haddock sandwiches and blueberry crisp-a la mode for dessert. Yummy.“

“Really enjoyed our late lunch here. I had the Lazy Lobster and it was delicious, and the crab cake burger was great too. We were seated upstairs near the windows and had a beautiful view of the water while we ate, which made the whole experience even better. The ambiance was relaxed and perfect for a late lunch after exploring Bar Harbor. Overall, a really nice spot with good seafood and views — definitely worth checking out. 4/5.“

“Two Cats Restaurant in Bar Harbor is a wonderful spot for breakfast! The food is absolutely delicious, from classic favorites to unique dishes, and the service is friendly and attentive. “Overall very solid. Came here on the recommendation of a local for the lobster stew/bisque. Admittedly not certain of the difference but here it seems to bend towards stew. It was very good but I tend to like mine creamier. The pork belly sliders were good not great. The service was friendly and attentive. Drinks were good. Value was fair, a little on the expensive side but it’s Bar Harbor in summer.“

“Andrei, our server both nights, was excellent. He was informative, helpful and Johnny on the spot. We just had a drink the first night but after looking at the menu decided to return for the lobster Mac and Cheese. It was a huge portion with tons of lobster and just the right amount of goey creamy cheese, with and order of perfect crunchy slaw it was perfect for the 2 of us to share!“
