“We got the whole lobster, corn, cup of clam chowder, and a slice of blueberry pie for $52. It was delicious. The atmosphere of the place was fun and lively. Our waiter was very nice. I would definitely eat here again. A reservation is a must I think.“

“Side Street Café is our favorite place to eat in Bar Harbor. This cafe has really great vibes and the service staff is always attentive and friendly. Their cocktails and mocktails are all superb and the "Born to Rum" cocktail is easily the best rum cocktail I've ever had. My wife and I really appreciate that Side Street Café offers a number of vegetarian and vegan options. These can be hard to come by at other restaurants in the area, but the veggie options here are to-die-for! We always get the Brussel sprouts starter. The maple bourbon glaze is the perfect balance of savory and sweet. We've had the hummus platter a few times and love it as a healthy starter before the meal. My recent go-to has been the Lean Machine veggie burger with a side of the house fries. The fries have a delicious salty seasoning and the burger features a delicious earthy flavor that balances well with the sweet spice of the mustard and the creaminess of the avocado. My wife loves the Emilia wrap. The hummus and basil pesto blend nicely with the fresh vegetables which also contribute to a very aesthetic, colorful meal. Whether you're sitting inside or out on the patio, the Side Street Café is the perfect way to celebrate a successful hike, bike ride, or cap off a day of shopping. If you haven't been to this Bar Harbor staple, you need to add it to your list.“

“We had a Wonderful Meal and Service at Pat's Saturday Night ( 9/30/2023) ~ We had a large party, and throughout the Week as we made the reservation and pre-ordered all the food, I felt the staff was very attentive, and accomodating. Georgiana especially, she was terrific! Patient, Smart, and Attentive. The staff was friendly, the food was all excellent!!“

“Great local beer selection. The service and atmosphere of this place was great. Newly remodeled, A/C helps offset summer humidity. The only thing I wish to rail against is 12 oz beer serving. I understand the high tourist priced beer, but can't stand not being served pints, or at least the U.S. 16oz version.“

“Blaze was the first place I visited on my recent trip to Bar Harbor, and I was very appreciative of them being open on Easter after a long travel day. I was sat at the bar, and found the service to be fairly good. They were busy and were attentive to the people that were coming in, but also seemed to have issues with seating that lead to me feeling pressured to leave. The food was a highlight, I got the duck burger and it was delicious. It was thick, difficult to eat, but the flavor was amazing and the fries were crispy and flavorful. They also had a great soundtrack playing in the background, which may not mean a lot to everyone but was a bonus in my book. I would definitely recommend!“

“We dined at LeBrun last night and learned they opened four months ago. The food here is spot on! Not to be missed. A contemporary perspective on classical French cuisine that is a delight to discover. We stayed with two Bibb Lettice and Pickled Shallot salads. The shallots were crunchy and superbly tart yet not sour. A light dressing that may have included ver jus was lightly citrusy and most refreshing to the palate. Dinner was Duck and Cassoulet of white beans. A breast of duck that pan roasted to perfection was pink and juicy with a gorgeous cassoulet of beans with haricots vert, herbs and other little flavorful things. A wonder cassoulet sauce of duck glace added further dimension along with a tradional topping of buttered breadcrumbs. Dee-lish! Seared Sea Scallops were as good as you'll find and also cooked to perfection ( not over cooked). Welch of the scallops were perched on top of a very flavorful spaghetti squash that was lightly creamy and/or buttery and prepared with herbs and perhaps shallots and a splash of white wine. I am guessing! Just go!!?“
