“This is a very big and specious restaurant with a gaming area, we came here dinner. I got the fish and chips, the Haddock was absolutely delicious. My friend got the steak and cheese which looked amazing and was yummy too. I had a Margarita and it was made just right, not watered down. We did not check out the pool tables but looked like it would have been a wonderful fun experience. Maybe next time. They have parking in the back of the restaurant, the street parking spots are always full. There’s a public parking garage about 3 minutes walk across the street. Overall, good restaurant, highly recommend.“

“So back in November, we went to Longhorn to have lunch after we’ve been doing some holiday shopping. Our experience was less than stellar. I reached out through their website to Longhorn and let them know what had gone wrong. The rice was bad the steaks weren’t right, The waitress was nice but she never came back to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. She didn’t bring my husband a spoon for his coffee so he could stir the cream in the sugar. It took a long time for her to bring us the bill and for us to get the check back after we paid the bills so we could leave. It was just a frustrating and bad experience. it was just a bad experience
, and it was the first one we really had.

They sent me a gift card, asking me to come back and telling me that if I had a problem in the future, please ask for a manager. Part of the problem with the first one also was sadly the waitress was not good. She didn’t pay attention to us. It took a long time to get things done.

Our second trip was a couple of weeks ago. The waitress was very good. The food was good. I ordered the baked potato without any onion as I’m allergic to. The food came out in a timely fashion the waitress refreshed our drinks as we asked it was a much better experience. I will say the sides when they came out my potato, especially it was good, but it really wasn’t hot and that was pretty much the big thing that missed the mark can’t give you five stars because of the first experience but I will say after them trying to correct the issue we will probably go back again. I didn’t ask for a manager this time Because I just wanted to have the deal done and we were on a time crunch, so yeah, they kind of redeem themselves on the second trip. If we go again in the near future will read again and see if it’s better.

I do appreciate the fact that they tried to take care of the situation as best as they could from the first experience so we will probably go again, but as a few people have previously noted in their reviews for the amount of money that the food costs, I expect it to be a good experience so we’ll see what the next one is, but they did redeem themselves after the first trip.“

“We love to find local pubs to visit and after driving by Duffy’s many times we decided to put it on our date night calendar. We enjoyed quick friendly service. The Nachos were everything pub nachos should be, plentiful and nicely toasted. I had the French dip which was loaded with Roastbeef and the house made onion rings were some of the best I’ve had. Hubby had Chicken Parm which is his favorite. It was a large enough portion for his big appetite to even take some home and his exact words were “just as good the next day!” We finished with the blueberry bread pudding, again large enough to share and it was delicious.“

“This little hole in the wall restaurant was a great surprise. It's a short walk from the main area of OOB and is located right on the beach. The tables are literally set in the sand. Beyond that is dune grass and the ocean. I had the best tacos in my life! They featured cole slaw, pulled chicken and sweet Thai chili sauce. Delicious!“

Even though they don’t take reservations, we called ahead on Thursday to let them know we would have a big group coming. “I come specifically to Old Orchard Beach every year just to eat at The Bell Buoy. They serve the best seafood and are very closely located to the pier and beach. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the lobster is a huge selling point. Friendly staff, great food, good service, and a mere walking distance from many of the other attractions.
