This is a small town with not a lot of dining options. There’s a fancy place up the street and a kind of an in between place further down the street but this is where local people come to eat. No pretension. Just really good food. And a friendly serving staff. We had the special tonight, which was their bourbon beef tips, pulled pork and incredibly favorful mashed potatoes. Food was so good. The drinks were generous and top notch. The strawberry shortcake, and I’m not kidding about this might be the best strawberry shortcake I have ever tasted. if you’re in this area, you owe it yourself to stop. Friendly place. Delicious food. You won’t be disappointed“
