“We go here a couple times a month for dinner. They have some gluten free options, great chicken wings and a great bar though it is very small, so we have had to sit at a table a couple of times. The dining area doesn't have great ambiance but the food and service has always been terrific.“

“My review is based off of the tamales just ordered. I grew up in Panama and it was one the best treats to get fresh tamales. It didn’t happen very often- but when it did, I loved them so much. And obviously in Maine- it’s almost impossible to find them- especially authentic. I was quite impressed with Sammy’s take on tamales. Of course- they are not the exact replica of what I had- but they are very impressive. And it’s A LOT of work to make them. It’s not Taco Bell. Usually I don’t like mustard but it was perfectly balanced with the onions and pickles” 14 year old- “I like the combination and the crunch of onion and lettuce. The burger was cooked perfectly. I used exactly 7 napkins.” 10 year old- “ The best BLT on the midcoast. The most bacon I have ever seen on a BLT. If I had to judge on a 1-5 scale. “I have been going to Thomaston Maine Applebee's for years. I stopped going due to long wait times, and food coming out cold. I started going back a few months ago, as Applebee's has gone through a huge improvement. My waitress Loni, is fantastic always making sure our food is hot, delivered quickly and always with a smile! Amy is always walking around and asking how everything is. She is always smiling and if something was wrong, I have seen her go out of her way to fix it with other customers. I spoke with her recently about how great service and the food has been, she explained there is a new Kitchen manager that Chris has really stepped up to the plate. Chris, Loni and Amy really make the Applebee's experience a pleasure! Thank you guys for all you do!!!“

When we walked in we did not expect that this place would have one of the best meals we had on our trip to Maine with impeccable service from Trevor, our server. Rock Harbor Pub & Brewery is located on the main street, not on the water but was a great find and locals favorite!“
