“We stopped here for dessert on a Saturday night after dinner. The line was pretty long at 9:30 but we made it to the counter in under 15 minutes. I love that you can have unlimited samples and that you can choose as many flavors as you want as long as they will fit in the cup! Everyone that worked there was super nice and helpful. I ordered the smallest size (treat) with raspberry truffle and dark chocolate noir and it was absolutely amazing. Tasted like a raspberry dark chocolate bar in the best way possible. Other delicious flavors that I tried - Sweet Resurgum, Special Hazelnut, Maine Wild Blueberry Crisp and Toasted Coconut. We were back in Portland for dinner two nights later and I suggested we try a different gelato spot but my husband loved Gelato Fiasco so much that we doubled down.“

“My husband and I have been going to Gorgeous Gelato for years. It's been a while since we've been but last weekend, we decided to introduce our granddaughters to it. The older one enjoyed trying blueberry sorbet and ended up ordering it. The little one is 3 so she opted for vanilla and chocolate. It's just as delicious as we remember. They really make the best gelato in New England. It's the closest one to the ones we had in Italy. Oh, and they have sfogiatelle (pastry filled with sweet ricotta) which was legit. Had one of those in Naples, Italy in 2017. This is not Naples level but it brought me back to the experience nonetheless. It's a bit pricey though (almost $7 each). Their prices have gone up and parking in the the city could be a challenge. These are the only reasons why we don't go more often.“

“Delicious ice cream, inviting atmosphere, and friendly staff. We sat inside and enjoyed good conversation in a beautiful space. Our one year old love her black raspberry ice cream while my husband and I enjoyed the crème brûlée flavor. ?
The outside is just as lovely with multiple places to sit and plenty of room for kids to move around while adults socialize. Can’t wait to bring visiting family & friends to this spot.“

“I know there are really great ice cream places in many spots in Maine. Having tried a few (but by no means all!) Beals is excellent for flavor choice (30+), taste, quality and price. I rate them in the top of the bunch. Go and get some!“

“We went to Sammy’s Scoops for the first time this past weekend. The ice cream was delicious and the service was so friendly and fast! We especially enjoyed that there’s a small playground across the street so it was a perfect outing for our whole family. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone!“

“I never make reviews on the internet, but I had to mention the impeccable service we have had. They took precocious care of serving ice cream that had no contact with nuts, because my sister is severely allergic. They did not hesitate were so kind about it. 10/10 would recommend this place (and it was absolutely beautiful inside and out) xx“

“My son has been asking for sonic ice cream since summer began. Deering ice cream was the only person/place/truck who had sonic. (And we've been to a lot). He was helpful to keep me informed of his location, as I drove to find him.(he is a movie ice cream truck after all). I drove 30mins to another town to hunt down the ice cream man for my son and IT WAS WORTH IT. Super kind gentle man! Great variety of ice cream choices“

“I have been going here a long time. The hard ice cream is home made amazing. Try needums if you want a treat. They also have really great dairy free options that we get each time we go.
I take away one star for being cash only. Everyone understands that cash is king but I am always a dollar short for one reason or another. The ATM is not far but it's not at the counter so I would encourage that improvement.“

“We visited this ice cream place and tried their coffee flavor. It was incredibly creamy and delicious. The service was okay, nothing outstanding but satisfactory. Overall, it's a nice spot to satisfy your ice cream cravings, especially if you're a fan of creamy textures. Definitely worth a visit for their coffee ice cream!“

“The server was a good conversationalist, and she was very efficient at serving. The ice cream itself was delicious; They didn’t have the flavor I wanted (peppermint stick) but they had my second favorite (mint chocolate chip). It’s got a nice texture, a little hard but easy to eat. It’s a bit cramped if you’re eating in/ at the ice cream shop, but worth it.“

“Lib’s is a longtime favorite and it’s easy to see why! There are hard and soft serve ice cream options, and also special treats. I’d recommend getting an Arctic Blast.They do prefer you pay in cash, but card or Venmo is also accepted. I’d check at the counter.“

“They only had one lady working so it took quite a long while to get the ice cream and because she was alone she didn’t have time to update the available flavors. The ice cream tastes good but the spoons are very bendy and I can’t lift my ice cream out of the cup.Hi replying to the reply; I went to beals on veranda st. There was only one girl working and she even apologized as she was the only one who was working. She was nice but definitely the only person working around 5:30 when I went.“

“If I could rate this place with 6 stars, I would. The service was exceptional. Just as we got in, it was clear they would accommodate just any change we need to their menu dishes.
The owner was friendly, helpful and extremely efficient.

“I decided to treat myself to a sweet treat today and I was recommended this ice cream shop and as I walked in, it was a very welcoming environment. I had a great server. Her name was Laura she was very welcoming, and she stacked up my ice cream. She really looks dedicated to her work and to make her customers pleased. This girl deserves a raise!!! but this ice cream shop is the place to go nice cold refreshing ice cream just the right consistency and a good amount for a good price. They are top tier!“

“This place is so cute and cozy. The staff was really nice and I got a brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls. It was seriously the best brown sugar boba I've ever had! I can't wait to go back and try more.
Parking: Street parking was difficult to manage during school hours, but still enough spots that the walk wasn't bad.“

“The menu pictures and food brought to our table were of no comparison. Food itself was mediocre at best. For example...the brisket sandwich was a thin grilled cheese with a few pieces of meat...so underwhelming. The turkey dinner...well..the turkey was of the pressed luncheon kind...again...disappointed. Do not, I repeat, do not order the coffee...wet socks...wet. socks.“

“Always awesome soft serve treats. It's always ... Or should always be consistent, which they are here. That's not what separates this location from others. Here, it's the staff. I could not believe how calm, and methodical this team was. I mean they were busy.. getting the crap knocked outta them but they didn't waiver. They smiled and pushed through. It was nice to see some old school values still being used. Thank you and great job!!!“
