“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! “Just learned this was originally Park's Diner on Front St. in Waterville!! I ate breakfast there all the time back in 1959 when I was a kid with my dad.”

“Great ice cream place with both a drive thru and plenty of picnic tables and a grassy area for the kids to run around. The servings are huge. There are no kid's cone/cup sizes so expect to throw away a lot or plan on sharing with them. Both hard and soft serve and lots of options for sundaes and toppings. The ice cream itself is delicious. Highly recommend!”

“I honestly didn't expect to find world class dining so close to home. My wife and i chose the Oak Table for our anniversary and we were happy we did. We sat at the Chefs table and chatted with Chef Dan as he prepared four courses with simple and precise flavors. Simple does not mean pedestrian. Just that each dish knows what its meant to accomplish and sets out for it with astounding focus. I would be remiss to forget the cocktails which were a flavor experience in and of themselves. We will be going back for next anniversary.”

“Placed a big to-go order including a hamburg pizza, chicken Alfredo, fish and chips, and some mozzarella sticks. EVERYTHING was great, and the fish portion was huge!! The cashier was super friendly, double-checked my order, and even opened the door for me to get out since I kinda had my hands full. We’ve ordered other things in the past, and the food and service is consistently good. We’re lucky to have this place!”
