“Best experience I’ve had at the Gardiner Subway, thanks to Aaron! I almost gave up on this location (due to bad past experiences there) but I was lucky enough to be served by him tonight, and he totally changed my mind. He was friendly, polite and went above and beyond to give my boyfriend and I a good experience and a great meal. Best subway sandwich I’ve ever had. We will continue visiting this location because of Aaron!“

“Worth a stop! My partner and I stopped here for wraps on a Saturday afternoon. I got the Teriyaki No Sake and he got the Russ-Ian-Out. Both were great! And the coffee was good, too! Whoever was working (on 4/6 at 2pm) deserves a big ol’ raise, though. She was running the front and back of the house by herself during a rush really wonderfully.“

“Been a fan for 25+ years and only get a chance to eat there once a year due to living in northern Maine. Always pleasant staff but for some reason today when I asked my wife to stop in and grab me a Big Dave she also got herself an Italian. After paying she saw the Italian special to add a bag of chips and a soda and asked if she could pay the extra and get that and was told no because she had lettuce on her sandwich and that lettuce disqualified the lunch special. Sad that lettuce disqualifies a special but was told no other veggies disqualified it??? Sounds more like someone didn’t want to be bothered and was willing to pay the difference… just .59 cents. Got to do better“

“Had the cheesesteak w/onions, peppers, mushrooms, and I gotta say it was a very solid sandwich! Actually, it was one of the better cheesesteaks I've had in Maine in a while. It's definitely in the technique, i.e., the girl who cooked it mixed the perfectly melted cheese in very uniformly w/the meat. It's a beautiful thing when people make food w/love! Bread roll was good...definitely will order it again...wonder if it's just that one girl has mad cheesesteak game on the flat top...lol.🤔“

“The inside is small, no seats. The food is good. Fresh. The problem I had was the workers. Except for one young lady, Sarah. She was absolutely phenomenal. She did her best to take care of everyone. Fast. Polite. Happy and always smiling. She took the rude customers in stride. Never let them affect her ability to make amazing sandwiches. She has tue knowledge of people twice her age and knows her worth.“

“I ordered from Augusta, Maine and the portobello sub I got was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My fiancé’s (meat one.lol) was equally stellar. I used to manage a local shop so have never been a fan of “chain restaurants “. However….Our food was great and will definitely refer all my friends 😀🤩“

“First of all whatever that chicken sandwich was, it was delicious! I believe they said it was a barbecue chicken subway sandwich! It came with cookies and unfortunately, I didn’t get my cookies. I forgot to take them! Boo because I’m a big fan of your chocolate chip cookies. Anyway, there was two guys working I was in there with my grandchildren and it was a very light atmosphere. We sat down and air our sandwiches, which we don’t usually do we usually take things to go. But we enjoy being there being able to refill our sodas, which is another thing we don’t usually do. We definitely will go back again and order the same stuff maybe I’ll get double cookies. LOL“
