“After a stunning sail along Maine's coast, we craved a snack. We landed at Brix + Brine in downtown Ogunquit, enjoying cocktails & their massive platter loaded with oysters, shrimp, crab meat, & lobster. Everything was incredibly delicious.“

“This was our first time here in 8 years since it changed from Maxwell’s to Pepper’s. Maxwell’s was a place we visited frequently when in Ogunquit, and we even had my 50th birthday there. We were very apprehensive about going to Pepper’s, and we did not know what to expect! Wow and cool were the first 2 words I thought of when we entered! The place we came to know and love changed, but it was a great change with an awesome bar! Then, we had some drinks, an appetizer, and then our food came. All of it was great, and all the servers and bartenders are wonderful! We definitely recommend the Firecracker Shrimp and Calamari for appetizers, and the whole belly clams and teriyaki tuna for main courses! Everything was fresh and delicious! We are looking forward to our next trip to Ogunquit, and Pepper’s will definitely be on our dining list!“

“Fox's Lobster House 9-6-25 We had to stop by this Lobster house for the Lobster. The lady that greeted us at the front was very friendly and answered any questions we had about this place as it was our first time there. She stated you want to sit upstairs as the views were much better. The views from upstairs were spectacular with the Ocean and Lighthouse in the background just amazing. They do have an outside Patio for dining which is rather large with shading for all to enjoy that kind of atmosphere. Now let's get to the food. I ordered a bowl of Clam Chowder, and my wife ordered a cup of Lobster Bisque for appitizers. We both ordered the Fox's Favorite Lighthouse Dinner which had 1.5-pound Lobster, Corn on the Cob with Baked Potato. Our soup came out first, it was hot and very tasty, mine was packed with clams. This had to be the best New England Clam Chowder I ever had. In fact, it was so good I did not want to share it with my lovely wife. She stated her Lobster Bisque was fantastic also. The Corn on the Cob and Baked Potato was also good, but the star of the dinner was the Soup and Lobster. Everything was hot, tasty and with the great service provided by Stella we just loved this place, and my bet is you will also. You must stop by here not only for a great dinner but the spectacular views and a visit to the Lighthouse right next door. “The food was delicious the staff was kind and accommodating although it is labeled as handicapped accessible and that is a bit of a stretch, the supposed ramp out front is more of a sidewalk hill it’s very steep and took 2 of us to get my sons wheelchair up over the curbing and inside. Then they sat us outside on the patio which we were ok with except for the fact to get there we walked down the road to the end of the property to go through the fencing they had to remove the boards of the fencing to access and took 3 of us to push and pull at the same time to get into. It was extremely tight maneuvering to get settled comfortably at the table. (My sons an adult 34 yr old man) we did have a nice dinner once we got settled I just wish they’d had smoother handicap access if the wheelchair person was alone they wouldn’t be able to get in“

“We came in for an early lunch. Had the place to ourself for a while. Food was amazing. I don't generally care for fried seafood. It's almost always over cooked. Browns was the exception. My scallops were perfect. Still juicy and flavorful not dried out. We'll be back again and again and again. The chowder here is one of our favorites 😍“

“My husband and I have gotten takeout a few times now, and it's been consistently good! Their namesake - fried clams - are some of the tastiest that I've had! They even rival Woodmans in Essex, MA! We've tried their burgers, fried dough and other fried options, all delicious. I like their clam chowder a lot, as well. The broth is nicely seasoned, great amount of clam and potato per spoonful. Overall, we're glad to make them part of our takeout lineup.“
