“We went with a group of 7, having made reservations in advance. The food was excellent and service very good. We were able to bring a cake from outside in for a birthday celebration which our server brought to us ready to serve and sing! The Hospitality was excellent along with our dinners. I highly recommend Robert's and we always make it a point to go there whenever we have the chance! My only negative comment is the safety of the staircase to upstairs, railings on both sides are needed, an elevator would be better.“

No substitutions. I was willing to pay for the upgrade. No go. I live in the area and there are a lot of other options which I'll be trying.“

“Lena's opening is the final sign of Spring! ❤️ The food is amazing. And I am VERY picky about seafood. I have lived on the ocean my entire life. Have always had access to the freshest possible seafood. I won't even eat any fried seafood while Lena's is closed for the winter. There is one other place that is very good but their prices are insane! The family that owns the place is fantastic...as is the staff. They even helped out my mother with the mercy meal after my father's memorial. Just to give you an idea how good it is. I will eat there at least 3 times the week they open....and I do the same the week they close.“

“Last night we had dinner at the Purple Urchin and had a great experience. We were seated by a very nice young lady in a window seat, which was awesome.

Then we were greeted by Noah, who was very pleasant. He took our order, smiled, and so friendly. THANK YOU!!

We ordered a beer, Coconut shrimp, lobster Rangoon's, and pretzel bites. Everything was PERFECT!! We cleaned the plates for sure.

“Wonderful old-school, Old-Maine place - "Lobsters in the Rough" like we used to have. Ambience - totally relaxed, right on the water. Food - Menu has good variety, the lobsters come in daily, cooked just right. The view across the river to Portsmouth is like no other, plus the river traffic and bridge openings, lobster boats, big ships, tugs, you name it. River breezes tend to keep things a little cooler. I'll be back.“

“great location, great views but wasn't impressed with the food. I had a 3 ounce lobster roll for $20+, they wanted $55 for a 6 ounce.😱 there was more roll then lobster and the roll was over toasted. The Cole slaw was right out of a bag and blah. The only good part was the blueberry margarita, but I think I overheard the employee say it was only 5%. They didn't offer whole lobster.🫤 Go for the view, maybe order a burger or hot dog.“

“Just a quick note from someone who never writes reviews. Sitting at The Beach Plum with my three kiddos and so impressed and grateful for the wonderful service we’ve received here. We had a tiny issue with one meal which was immediately acknowledged and fixed tenfold. Two members of the team checked on us several times after to make sure we were doing okay and then sent us home with an extra meal for later on the house. My kids learned a great lesson on wonderful and kind customer service and The Beach Plum will continue to be a favorite spot for us! Thank you!!“
