“Been coming here since I was a kid and it never disappoints. You can’t go wrong with a lobster roll and an ice cream. Order a kiddie unless you want an entire pint to yourself haha. And watch out for the bees and thieving seagulls who will definitely take your food! @TourGuideTara for more travel tips!“
“I was hesitant to dine at this restaurant after reading the reviews, but the restaurant is under new ownership and I have to say the food and service were exceptional. They even accommodated by garlic allergy (hard to do in an Italian restaurant!). Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.“
“Loved this experience! The ambiance upstairs was perfect and the cocktails were unique and delicious. The food was fantastic and I highly recommend the scallops. A dessert drink finished my night and I would highly recommend this for a date night dinner!“
“Not terrible. I had the surf and turf with filet and lobster tail. It was not terrible lobster, but it was a little tough which was surprising given the location and the about $80 that the plate costed. The steak was a little better but could have used more flavor. Over-all not bad, but the plate should have been more at a $45 price point relative to its quality. I would say keep the higher price and improve the plate.“
“The Puddle Dock was pretty much exactly as I expected, considering how much I had looked into it ahead of time. The entire reason for going was for the rarebit my boss had informed me of during a discussion about foods I had grown up with. The food was all incredible and was interesting to see the inside of the building since I had grown up going to Strawberry Bank as a child and getting pickles from a pickle barrel when it was a store. The post and beam structure still looks incredible and the layout of the bar is extremely well done. The atmosphere that is given was extremely laid back. The one thing that took away, for me, was a few of the wait staff that had come by have an arrogance when speaking to you that is a bit off putting. It is clear that it is not all of them but enough to discourage.I had an old fashioned, the rarebit which came with bits of duck, brussel sprouts and a fried egg on top as an appetizer and the Shepard's pie as a meal. The Shepard's pie came out with a crust making it look more like pot pie but added a wonderful texture to it. The flavor was incredible though be warned of how hot that dish is and how long it will need to cool. Definitely worth the visit and experience.“
“I thought it was a little pricey. We went at a busy time. They really packed them in. I got baked stuff lobster and it was delicious with whole shrimp and scallops in the stuffing. Not much "stuffing".The dining room overlooks the water but we couldn't see it because of the other tables.“
“From the minute you walk into The Franklin you feel the warmth of the space. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly. We ate everything and it was flippin amazing - I took my sister and her husband here and his eyes lit up when he caught site of the selection of oysters! He still talks about The Franklin and makes me take him there every time they are in town.“
“I've eaten here, twice, and tasted 6 different items off the menu. Its simply fantastic! The pan seared cod is the best I've ever had. A delicate crispy edge made every bite a treat. The mussels were great, the Greek fisherman's stew, the ravioli,, the wood fired chicken, all fantastic. The beef carpaccio was an interesting treat, uncommon on a menu. Raw prime beef tenderloin, that I rather enjoyed. Our server, Natasha, was excellent! If you are a home chef, that routinely makes restaurant quality food(or better)? This is where you want to go. The skill in the kitchen is on a whole 'nother level.Price reflects the quality of your food. $$ very well spent. Its definitely the kind of place where you want to have an appetizer. Everything is so good, you'll want one, and portion size allows the extra goodness.I read that the chef won best in NH. For my experience, its painstakingly obvious why. Some of the best food I've had, paired with excellent service. I'm going to try everything on the menu. I'm certain the level of care in preparation is reflected throughout the entire menu. If finely prepared food is your thing? You need to try Tino's. They may easily become my all time favorite. Its that good.“
“This by far is the best place to go in the area for a meal they in my view are top rank because of how clean they keep the restaurant it is never short staffed and they are friendly I love the burger and fries here I don't eat any seafood but I do love what I've tried from here never one thing has gone wrong for my here“
“Dined at Seaglass for first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. There were six of us. I gave it 4 stars vs 3 based on atmosphere, views and experience. Restaurant was not full on Friday night so we sat by the window. Views of the ocean and waves even at night are amazing. Restaurant itself has a great vibe and nice lighting. Food and service were not as great. Good for an average restaurant but for a $500 bill, I'd expect a higher level of service and food quality. Service was somewhat slow and not as attentive as you'd expect, but server was friendly and doing her best. Our group had a range of entrees from lobster rolls to filet and baked haddock. Lobster rolls were excellent, as was the burger. Haddock was just OK and catch of the day was average. Entrees only come with 1-2 small sides, no salads. I'd visit again for the views of the ocean and recommend sticking with a more basic entree for the price.“
“My husband and I sat at the bar- enjoyed impeccable service as we watched oysters being shucked in front of us. I had Welfleet oysters fresh and delish, and we both enjoyed bowls of perfect NE clam chowder! All of this paired with a Maine Lunch it was the perfect supper in a fun and chic atmosphere!“
“Great restaurant! First thing I noticed is the happiness of the employees o thing but smiles. Everyone working helped each other and they seemed to be a team who enjoys working with each other because of that our service was impeccable. From drinks to the food everything was delicious. We started with fried calamari cooked perfectly, we had warm rolls served with soft butter ,roasted garlic and olives. We ordered the salmon and monk fish both cooked with so much flavor and the presentation was beautiful. Then for dessert we ordered the banana cake new on the menu I’m not a sweet eater but this was perfect not too sweet…..definitely everyone should visit this restaurant.“
“If you are looking for frills with your meal, this isn't the place for you. This is more of a hole in wall spot where the locals tend to hang out and they only accept cash. With that said we walked in and were told to seat where we wanted. We grabbed a booth and we were asked if we wanted coffee. Sure we yelled back and the waitress showed up at our table with a coffee pot, the mugs were already on the table. So was the plastic ware (remember I said NO frills) and napkins, as well as the sugar and butter, she brought some creamer with her. During the week they have lunch specials, however they have reasonable prices and large portions. We each got the number 4, which came with 2 eggs any style, a meat choice, and toast. We also each ordered a muffin. If you made it this far, don't be surprised when your food comes out on styrofoam plates (I said NO FRILLS!), but the food was good, I liked the plum muffin that was heated up and I had lots of laughs just listening to Uda, as she is a straight shooter. I will say that the lady who recommended it called herself a foodie and this is NOT where a foodie would normally send someone as this is stuff that is simple but good with NO FRILLS but will get you full and not break your pockets. With that, if I'm ever back in the area, I'll be back!“
“It wasn't to my likeness. No problems. But.Actually, actually with a little bit more than I should have got. They were right there for me. Mine was baked lobster pie. They did replace the way I wanted it and it was a lot more what I expected it to be. Ty“
“Went to Sunday Brunch. HUGE selection, GREAT FOOD OPTIONS, All the usually Brunch options PLUS a bunch of unique and special additions!!(fish, lamb, chowder, and desserts for days) Support staff was great, too! Cant wait to come back again and frustrated that I havent been to this brunch before today. Time for a nap.“
“We always get the warm feta dip. The haddock sandwich is awesome large portions perfectly crisp. It’s also connected to a nice bakery. Busy Sunday today so a bit slower than normal service but still everyone’s friendly and will come back.“
“We eat here frequently because of the team, food quality and price. Besides the amazing roast beef you must try: crab salad wrap or get the crab salad roll that comes with fries - the crab salad is great, BLT wrap, coleslaw, any of the seafood but the plate portions are huge and feeds 2, chicken wings, salad, onion rings! You can't go wrong here, we have never had a meal that wasn't great.“
“I have been going to Niko's now almost every week for the past year, and although I think their food is fantastic, they just won me over their incredible customer service as well.I ordered delivery last night to my hotel roof through the website, and I mistakenly put down the wrong room number. After about an hour, I called to check on my delivery, as I knew they were closing in 10 minutes, and wanted to make sure the order was recieved.I was told it had been delivered, but to another room, once again my fault. The owner was direct they wanted to correct it, and they did so at no charge.Customer service at it's best!“
“Found this place randomly on a Saturday afternoon and so glad we did. Everything was perfect - Arrived with a 30 minute wait but was sat much quicker. - Super friendly staff. Our server Chantal was the best. Friendly, and on top of everything. - Really fun ambience. - Unique, delicious drinks - And now the food. Before we even sat I was excited, as all the food being walked past us looked great. For Apps - the best steamers ever. Steamed with garlic, and served with hot butter with garlic. Tuna Wontons - Crispy flat wonton topped with a slice of seared tuna, wasabi cream, and sweet soy sauce. Thin, crispy onion rings, perfectly seasoned. (No pics, ate it too fast!) - Second course - Hubby had a creamy seafood Alfredo with lobster, scallops and shrimp. I had grilled salmon, cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside,, perfect inside, not dry as I have seen in other places. It was topped with an olive tapenade, a unique presentation. If you like olives, you will love this. Asparagus was perfectly cooled. Large serving of fluffy jasmine rice. I wish it was closer to us, but we will for sure be back.“
“I enjoy this place a lot. Old school. Wish they would open the dining soon. They had a hard winter with the flooding this January. This venue is right on the water. Real cool watching the boats come by. Best salad bar in the area. Pumpkin bread rocks!“

“The food was solidly good, however nothing compelling enough to crave. The staff was very attentive and nice. Unfortunately, it was really loud. I would not go if you want a romantic or high-end feel. There are many better restaurants around the seacoast, but it wasn't bad by any stretch.“
“What a great find! Wonderful selection of classic breakfast choices and darn tasty to boot. Homemade biscuits covered in cream beef, homemade corn beef hash and the waffles! Oh my. I wish the place was closer to my house.I strongly recommend Hebert'“
“Excellent atmosphere, drinks, and service! What a hidden gem that we are so glad we stumbled upon this past week. So sorry to hear that a developer who owns the strip this fun beach bar is located on will be tearing everything down to put up brand new condos. Where are the people who buy those condos going to go for fun? Please save The Dolphin! Music, game nights, and great atmosphere to hang out and enjoy the ocean views while meeting and mingling with some great people!!“
“We are locals and look forward to Rays opening up in the spring. We went for a late lunch a week after their seasonal opening on an unexpectedly nice day. We were fortunate to not have to deal with a busy place at the time that we went and we got a booth overlooking the ocean. It's a gorgeous view where we watched early spring surfers and the waves roll in. Rays is very clean and has a pretty extensive menu with both delicious fried seafood and yummy baked dishes. We split an order of steamers which were some of the better ones we've had in the area. My husband had a medium order of haddock bites and he really enjoyed them while I had one of my favs, a tuna melt which was not greasy and was very tasty, with fries that were cooked just right. Our waitperson was friendly and appropriately attentive. Rays is not fancy, with paper plates and menus for placemats but if you're hankering for fresh seafood (they catch their own) you should definitely try Rays.“
“First of all, what a cool spot! Santiago's is one the most cozy bars I've been to. I ordered a few of the tacos in different varieties and they were awesome. You can taste the freshness. Amazing flavor, cooked perfectly...had to save the spicy shrimp taco for my wife. She loved it. The Margarita was smooth and unique. They don't use sour mix and you can feel the difference. Just go there and you will be delighted too.“
“Went there for lunch today & on the recommendation of a friend,. my husband & I both ordered the liver & onions. It was one of the best we've ever had. Liver was so tender you could cut it with your fork. We will definitely be going there more often.“
“Had an awesome experience at the oar house this weekend. Got to sit at the bar and taste some new creations from the bartender. Was really cool watching the experimentation and getting a first glance at the upcoming drinks. Snagged a couple of photos ??“
“We moved to NC several years ago and have never found pizza to compare with the Bratskellar. Perfect crust, high grade cheeses, many optional toppings including Greek sausage. Very active pizza kitchen and ovens surrounded by the bar. Many other items on the menu as well and they are all well prepared and portioned. We've bee customers for 25 years.“
“The food here is always good. Great pizza, steak & cheese subs & north shore roast beef sandwiches (iykyk). The thing that takes this place to the next level is their service. Everyone there is always so nice. Tonight I came in to pick up a pizza with my 3-year old daughter and multiple employees behind the counter waved and said hi. One even gave her a free brownie- it made her night!! Can't say enough positive things - 110 is our go to for takeout pizza and subs and will be for a long time.“
“I have continually gone there with friends for lunch. We usually order the platter for one at lunchtime is plenty of food for two people I have done this at least 20 times. Nothing changes everything is perfect. We get the combination onion rings and french fries with it. It comes with haddock clams scallops shrimp just amazing wonderful seafood, the best on the North Shore. I've been going there since they open four years ago and I've never had anything bad. All their luncheon specials are really a deal , the seafood is fantastic clam chowder, perfect coleslaw, perfect and their steak tips and steaks are probably the best in the area. I give them five stars and would give them them more if I could.“
“I went to this location multiple times during the seafood festival. Fantastic location and great food. It was extremely busy and the staff did a good job getting food/drinks out in a reasonable time frame. I'd recommend this location to anyone in the area. Only issue is the outdoor lighting is pretty poor for evening dining. Would be nice if there were a few more lights in some locations.“
“Had a great time tonight which included amazing cocktails(Spicy Margherita), dinner(Nam Jam Haddock) and dessert(chocolate flourless cake)!!I need to eat gluten free and there were many options. Service was great, they didn’t rush us and we enjoyed a three hour dinner, where we could relax in an open atmosphere.“
“We went to Bob's the other day for lunch and was surprised when we went to pay for the our clams and scallops basket 69.75. It was good but it's not worth going for lunch at that price. Last year for the same basket we paid 50.00. a lot of French fries in both baskets and scallops and calms scattered on top. For some reason I cannot add photos.“
“Really had a great time here. Food was very well prepared. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable making the interaction very rewarding. The ocean views were 3 simply spectacular. The desert on the next table looked delicious. Prices were very reasonable $135.00 for 3 people. 2 mixed drinks. 2 appetizers. And 3 entrees.“
“I'm a regular customer with my partner at the Peabody location. Can't say enough good things . Occasionally I stop at the amesbury location..I have a big complaint as a regular customer..The t.v. reception at the bar is terrible..This is a sports bar..Come on !!“
“As good as the top couple of Chinese food restaurants in the area. Very good service and great mai taies. We were early so the restaurant was kind of empty but the bar there was totally fullParking: If it looks full there's more parking around the back of the building“
“We frequently come here during the summer. We were craving the fish tacos and they did not disappoint. They were actually better than they were before and they homemade potato chips were next level. Looking forward to our weeks at the beach to eat there every night.Parking: It can get congested but people are always coming and going. I've never had to wait for more than 2 mins to park“
“It is truly some of the best seafood in the area. Consistent quality, fair pricing, & always prepared great. Staff has always been great. My wife and I enjoy the atmosphere.Parking: Parking can be a little tight at peak times, but when it's really busy, there is usually someone to help direct and keep things moving. Off peak parking is no problem, plenty of room.“
