“We honestly didn’t expect to be this impressed! We managed to snag a last-minute reservation and felt lucky just to get a table but the entire experience ended up exceeding our expectations.
One of the standout surprises was their incredible selection of non-alcoholic wines and cocktails. They even had a nonalcoholic tequila, which I absolutely loved and rarely find done this well.
We started with the shrimp dumplings, which were a fantastic way to kick off the evening fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For mains, we ordered the Portuguese seafood pasta and the steak frites. The seafood pasta was especially memorable, beautifully seasoned and packed with flavor in every bite. The steak frites were equally satisfying and cooked just right.
From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful and well executed. We’d absolutely come back the next time we’re in town!“

“I might be too much of a traditionalist but...I had my mouth all set for red flannel hash, was really looking forward to the sweetness that only beets can provide...and unfortunately they used pickled beets :( The description said "beet slaw", so I had anticipated thinner slivers to be in the equation, - but not vinegar. So close to perfection! (sigh). Maybe next time they'll go "old school".“

“Last night we went to Wild Cow after the free concert in the park in Belfast. I asked if they were about to close and they said yes but they could let me order something. I ordered the chocolate hazelnut ice cream in a homemade waffle cone and it was DELICIOUS. No fillers just pure quality, great, complex chocolate flavor; the toasted hazelnuts added just the right amount of crunch. Worth seeking out when you’re in Belfast!“

“Loved our visit to Chase’s Daily! The London Fog latte was excellent, the avocado toast was flavorful, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We enjoyed a perfect morning outside and appreciated all the charm and character of the space. Highly recommend!“

“The tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich were excellent. I went to get the chorizo chilli and cornbread but they were all out, but tomato soup was great, too.“

“The bagel and cream cheese assortment is great. Amazing Greek salad. Horrible location, the previous space was bigger. The new Main Street location is awful. There is no room to even wait for the bagels. IF you decide to sit down you end up being crowded by the line waiting to order. Parking was easier at the previous location as well. Please move somewhere better! 🥰“

“What a phenomenal dinner with family. Visited from far away, but I am thankful we ended up here. 1st, Chris was a fantastic host at the bar before we moved to our table. Addison took over and took great care of us. Portions were ample & everyone sated and happy. Highly recommend for the foodie and non-foodie alike. All can find happiness and be well taken care of at the same time.“

“Satori is a cozy, consistently excellent Japanese restaurant in the heart of Belfast — a town you might not immediately associate with fresh sushi, thoughtful cocktails, and a refined dining experience, but it absolutely delivers on all fronts.
The fish is reliably fresh, the sashimi is clean and delicate, and the signature rolls — especially the Miso Hungry — are well-balanced and deeply satisfying. Their cocktail menu is outstanding, and the sake list includes everything from approachable bottles to premium selections that show they take their drink program seriously.
The interior is warm and intimate, with a smart layout that gives every table its own space. The lighting is perfectly tuned — not too dim, not too bright — just the kind of low-key glow that makes a dinner feel relaxed and personal without losing any clarity. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel at ease.
The service has been excellent every time we’ve gone. The staff are professional, attentive, and clearly care about creating a good experience. We drive an hour to get here, usually once a month, and we’ve never left disappointed.
Located right by the water in the most inviting part of town, Satori fits naturally into the rhythm of Belfast — a place that already feels like classic coastal Maine. If you’re anywhere in the Midcoast area and want good sushi served with care in a space that feels genuine and thoughtfully run, Satori is well worth the trip.“

“10/10 so good. Calzones are my favorite, never thought of adding ricotta but that is the KEY. So so good.“

“Absolutely wonderful experience. I felt kind of funny, going to Maine and going for Thai food. But let me tell you, this is, hands down, the best Thai I've ever had. The food was absolutely perfect, every bite! Not your normal Thai food house, this is crafted dishes by a chef who cares for the art of Thai. Our server, I never caught her name, was wonderful. Never seemed stressed or hurried, in all the good ways. Seemed genuinely into what she was providing and excited to talk about the food and drink like it matters. Top notch!!
Only thing that we could possibly say even just a little negative would have been the phone. They're so popular, the phone doesn't stop ringing. But its a compliment to how good really this place is!!“

“The wait staff is exceptional. The food excellent with reasonable prices. Rollie's is a historic site where us locals have been returning for over 50 years. My opinion is the best restaurant in Maine.“

“As we often do while traveling, our first mission was finding a local brewpub. Sea Dog Brewing Company turned out to be exactly what we were hoping for. Sitting right on Camden Harbor, it's the kind of place where the view competes with the food for your attention. Whether you choose the covered outdoor patio overlooking the water or the expansive dining room lined with walls of windows, there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
The restaurant was spotless, the staff genuinely welcoming, and service never felt rushed. The menu offered hearty coastal fare done right, paired with an excellent lineup of house-brewed beers. After a full day on the road, there are few better rewards than fresh food, a cold local brew, and watching boats drift across the harbor as the evening sun settles over Camden. It's exactly the kind of brewpub every coastal town hopes to have—and one we'd happily return to.
With full stomachs and a few memorable pints behind us, we followed a winding road through the woods until it suddenly opened onto Drift Oceanside Inn. Nestled among tidy cottages perched above the ocean, it felt like we'd discovered a quiet little village hidden from the rest of the world where we would spend our first night in Maine.“

“We went for Monday Dinner and ate out on the deck which was spacious, lovely and comfortable. We were greeted warmly and promptly and our server was terrific.
The food is fresh and delicious. We had the chicken quesadillas and the burger ( perfectly cooked) with fries (hand cut tasty not greasy) and coleslaw ( tasty). The wine was also excellent. This is a gem.“
