The staff is amazing, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming and warm.Vegetarian options: Not labeled as vegetarian but there are several choices for a meal and you can make specific requests on the dishes as they are made in house at the time of orderDietary restrictions: The restaurant enables you to ask your server to change a dish in anyway possibleParking: A little scrunched but it's in a smaller town“
“What a beautiful Inn that gives a nod to the past with its antiques and attention to its historical detail while fully functioning as an Inn of today with amazing signature cocktails and food that will make you swoon! Once you visit you will instantly be making plans to return. Enjoy every detail because it’s all been planned and executed perfectly. Don’t forget to be there for jazz on the porch!! You can thank me later for letting you in on this secret gem!“
“Had breakfast here a few times. First time in was not a good experience; some dude came in that smelled and he sat right next to me. Fortunately, he moved away so I could eat. The food was decent but the service was lacking. Lots of townies here.“
“This is on the main drag in Bucksport, ME. It looks like every sleepy little town mainstay restaurant I have ever been in, and with that comes a comfort level. Although it is not a sleek and shiny place, the dining area is nicely lit and very clean. It smells like good food that you are accustomed to eating, and that is not a bad thing. Our server was attentive and apparently is a whiz at memorization-it was her third day and she could answer any question we threw her way. The brats were flavorful and smothered in caraway kraut. The kale and orange garnish was nostalgic. My companion enjoyed her house made ravioli, wishing there was a bit more filling in them. The star of the show was the French Onion soup. It was delicious with tons of flavor, superbly melted cheese and a perfect ratio of crouton to soup. Needless to say, that is my new comfort food, within walking distance of my workplace. Lucky me!“
“This is definitely by far a 5 star restaurant! I have been coming here for over 4 years. I have never had any issues with the food or the staff or even the customers. You get the freshest seafood that you can possible get! And the stake tips..... That's another whole story. I could eat them every single time I come here. They are so delicious the best I ever had. They always have a delicious soup of the day! And they have a great haddock chowder!!! I could honestly go on. . The nacho plate is just to much for 1 person to eat. If your ever in the Blue Hill area. You must stop here. They have a tremendous variety of food to choose from. And I guarantee every time you come to visit maine. You will always stop at Marlintinis bar-and-grill. And last but not least, they have the best staff on this side of the mississippi. Keep up a good word, everybody.“
“Very cool place! There is a dining area overlooking the rushing river and an outdoor beer garden. We enjoyed the raw oysters with blueberry vinaigrette. Spicy fish tacos were so tender and the breading was really light- so good. The mushroom swiss burger was good, but nothing that stood out. I loved the big duck fat french fries. Non-alcoholic beer was nice and my friend has the seasonal pumpkin spice espresso martini and she likes it. Can't wait to go when the weather warms up next spring and sit outside!“
“Stopped in Castine to see the town. Had a bite to eat at The Breeze and Castine Variety. I was very pleased with the food. It was delicious. Everything I ordered was excellent and I was greeted with kindness and a wonderful ambiance. Thank you to Kermit and Chef Snow for making my short stay in Castine a very pleasant, delicious, and memorable experience. On my next trip back, I am definitely hoping to see them again and eat there once more to make another delicious and delightful memory. Thank you again!!!“
“Delicious fried calamari and lobster rolls. The atmosphere is amazing - outdoor dining only. Time it right and see the Bagaduce falls flowing.Parking: Lots of parking down to the park area with the tables.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the same level as the road and accessible. Tables are in the park, down a hill, so a little challenging for people with disabilities.“
