“Fisherman’s Catch never disappoints! Our go to spot when we visit Wells! We were thrilled to learn they were staying open year round. We were looking forward to dinner after our travels and last night they were closing early due to I’m assuming the holiday. (Which is totally understandable) so when we showed up at 7pm, they happily made us a takeaway meal for us to enjoy in our hotel room. I was skeptical at first getting seafood takeaway… but as always fisherman catch never disappoints! Food was moist and delicious. And came out very quickly. We will be back soon!“

“This is a hidden gem and I’m so grateful to have found it. I got the Monstah Lobstah roll and it certainly lived up to its name. It was so big that I was able to bring half home to eat at a later time. We will definitely be back and hopefully Caitlin will be our waitress again… a super nice young lady. “We popped in here on a Thursday around 1:30, so not too busy. The bartender was friendly and accommodating. We had the mussels and parmesean truffle fries, and they were some of the best apps we've had in a while. The mussels were so good, and the hot rolls that came with them were perfect to dip into the delicious juice/ broth. The fries, dusted with parmesean and a light truffle flavor, came out crispy and hot, served with aioli and ketchup. We will definitely return someday for dinner. The bartender suggested the half-chicken, and the person next to us ordered the lobster roll, which looked like it was worth

“Great menu, great food, (They bake those muffins every day and they are devine!) great service. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so we are able to take our pup. The wait can be long on weekend summer mornings (10-15 minutes) but we used our time at the next door dog park while waiting. Unique local specials (Lobsters, blueberries, and crabs, Oh my!) and delicious coffee and teas. Try their blood orange juice freshly squeezed! You will not be sorry!“

“We had the best time here on an unexpected stop during a road trip. After driving all day from Vermont on a road trip back to FL we stopped in this little gem and before we even got into the doorway we were greeted enthusiastically by the owner Tony. The waiter Johanna and Tony guided us on how to order our very first lobster roll. We spent the evening laughing and joking around with them. “The Pilot House came in a very close second to Mabel’s Lobster Claw — and that says a lot! The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the lobster roll with clam chowder, and both were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the baked crusted haddock and loved every bite, and my mother-in-law had the fish tacos, which were just as good.

The atmosphere has that classic small-town coastal feel — casual, welcoming, and full of local charm. What makes it even better is the history tied to this place. The building originally stood as part of Kennebunkport’s old railroad era and was later turned around on its lot in the 1970s. It sits beside the Spirit of Massachusetts, a 19th-century schooner that nods to the town’s rich maritime past. Between the amazing food, friendly service, and a little piece of local history, The Pilot House is a spot we’ll absolutely return to. Five stars all the way!“

“I go to AJ's multiple times a week. The service is always friendly, and the staff remembers me. It's so great to feel important at a place that you go all the time. I get a Rush everytime I go and I love that there are so many possible flavor combos! I ❤ the South Sanford location!!!“
