“Dan was absolutely AMAZING as a bartender. He was super personable and was wonderful with making sure we had the drinks we needed. We went 2 nights, and the second night he knew exactly what I preferred and made sure to make sure I had what I wanted! We will definitely come back to see Dan!“

“We did the tasting menu and felt this was a great way to try most of the menu. This was a satisfying amount of food. We loved the homemade pastas, particularly the cacio e Pepe. The duck confit and the pork tenderloin ramen were fantastic and the flavors all worked very well together. Really excellent service from the entire staff!“
“Stopped in here for dinner with family while visiting back in Maine. This was our first time here. I believe this was the last weekend they were open for the season. The restaurant is a step above. The dining selection including the day's made the my dinner choice very difficult. In addition the signature cocktails were very refreshing. I enjoyed the smoked old fashioned immensely. The server provided excellent customer service with a high attention to detail. The dining choices were completely enjoyed by all at the table. Finally, prices were commensurate with quality of the dining experience. I can't wait to check this out again.“

“We got the whole lobster, corn, cup of clam chowder, and a slice of blueberry pie for $52. It was delicious. The atmosphere of the place was fun and lively. Our waiter was very nice. I would definitely eat here again. A reservation is a must I think.“

“Side Street Café is our favorite place to eat in Bar Harbor. This cafe has really great vibes and the service staff is always attentive and friendly. Their cocktails and mocktails are all superb and the "Born to Rum" cocktail is easily the best rum cocktail I've ever had. My wife and I really appreciate that Side Street Café offers a number of vegetarian and vegan options. These can be hard to come by at other restaurants in the area, but the veggie options here are to-die-for! We always get the Brussel sprouts starter. The maple bourbon glaze is the perfect balance of savory and sweet. We've had the hummus platter a few times and love it as a healthy starter before the meal. My recent go-to has been the Lean Machine veggie burger with a side of the house fries. The fries have a delicious salty seasoning and the burger features a delicious earthy flavor that balances well with the sweet spice of the mustard and the creaminess of the avocado. My wife loves the Emilia wrap. The hummus and basil pesto blend nicely with the fresh vegetables which also contribute to a very aesthetic, colorful meal. Whether you're sitting inside or out on the patio, the Side Street Café is the perfect way to celebrate a successful hike, bike ride, or cap off a day of shopping. If you haven't been to this Bar Harbor staple, you need to add it to your list.“

“Amazing place, staff is great especially Max (the bartender) he is very knowledgeable about the large whiskey selection and extremely nice. Bonus that this is closest irish pub to ireland in the United States. If you’re in emergency services they collect patches for the bar back from your department. Great food and plenty on tap to choose from. Mixed drinks are crafted with style.“

“Bar harbour is a dead place during the winter (it was first day of March however). Have to visit village information center to find out that only one place is regulary working - it's Dog&Pony tavern. And two more are sometimes opened. With expectations for lobster roll of course we were dissapointed but ate decent food, cesar's salad was really good.“

“If you're in the charming town of Bar Harbor, Maine, and in search of a fantastic meal, look no further than Everyday Joe's. My recent visit to this delightful eatery left me utterly impressed and thoroughly satisfied. I had the pleasure of trying their Reuben and Turkey Club sandwiches, and I can confidently say they were nothing short of amazing. You'll feel right at home in this charming establishment. Now, let's talk about the food. The Reuben sandwich I ordered was a masterpiece. The corned beef was perfectly tender and packed with flavor, and the sauerkraut and Swiss cheese added a delightful tanginess and creaminess to each bite. The rye bread was grilled to perfection, providing that satisfying crunch with every mouthful. It was a harmonious combination of ingredients that left my taste buds dancing with joy.The Turkey Club sandwich was equally impressive. The turkey was juicy and piled high, and the bacon was crispy and flavorful. The addition of fresh lettuce, tomato, and mayo added a refreshing contrast to the savory components of the sandwich. It was a classic done right.Dietary restrictions: Gluten“

“Lots of bees today. This is their season. Good coffee. Way too much food. Serving eggs Benedict on very thick biscuits was too much food. The potatoes were mostly onions. But I like my annual visit. Next time coffee and biscuits and jelly will do me!“

“Absolutely delicious meal! We made a reservation for our Anniversary dinner while we were on our trip to Acadia. I loved the dark, elegant atmosphere of the place. Compared to much of the other restaurants in the area, it didn’t feel crowded at all. Our server was super helpful, but also gave us lots of space to enjoy our meal. The food was all absolutely delicious. The beef yakitori was so flavorful! The chicory salad was good, but the bacon dressing was a bit overwhelmingly sweet for me, still tasted good, just not my personal preference. The sage dumplings with rabbit confit was amazing, the rabbit was so tender. The scallops were cooked to perfection and my husband loved the trout. Although I think for both of us our favorite part of the meal was the bread. It was so puffy and sprinkled with salt and herbs on top. My dinner could have been made up of just that bread and I would have been happy. I highly recommend dinning here while in Bar Harbor!“

“Great local beer selection. The service and atmosphere of this place was great. Newly remodeled, A/C helps offset summer humidity. The only thing I wish to rail against is 12 oz beer serving. I understand the high tourist priced beer, but can't stand not being served pints, or at least the U.S. 16oz version.“
